"So, you'd think that after this, things would start working out again. Well... about that—actually? I'll just let you find out."

Flashback - 16 years ago

Queen Twilight Sparkle stood on the balcony of hers and her husband's master bedroom, staring out at the kingdom with a small frown. The thought of leaving to go into hiding and stay with their old friend without her husband was one that she hated with every bone in her body. Queen Twilight Sparkle turned around and with a hand on her swollen stomach, she walked over to her husband, who was standing at the edge of their bed.

"I don't want to do this, not without you." Queen Twilight Sparkle told him.

King Flash Sentry turned towards her. "It has to be you."

Queen Twilight Sparkle shook her head, fighting against the tears that threatened to fill her eyes. "I'm not leaving you."

"It's the only way," King Flash Sentry reminded. "You'll go in there and you'll have Yoshi to help you keep Briana safe."

Queen Twilight Sparkle grabbed onto his hands. "Jake said it would be on her fifteenth birthday."

King Flash Sentry gave her a small smile. "What's fifteen years when you have eternal love? I have faith, you'll find me just like I found you."

With tears in her violet eyes, Queen Twilight Sparkle leaned in and kissed her husband, as he happily kissed back. Suddenly, out of nowhere, Queen Twilight Sparkle pulled away from the kiss with a pained expression on her face, eyes wide.

"What is it?" King Flash Sentry asked.

"Briana," Queen Twilight Sparkle said before giving a sharp gasp of pain when a wave of contractions hit her. "She's coming."

Meanwhile, Quill was standing guard outside of the castle with the rest of the guards. Looking forward, Quill squinted his eyes before they widened at the sight of Shredder standing there with his little army of Foot Soldiers, Soren included.

"Damn it," Quill muttered under his breath before looking over at the guards. "Get ready," he turns back to where he saw Shredder with narrowed eyes. "We're about to have company."

Back inside the castle, Queen Twilight Sparkle was laying on her bed with King Flash Sentry by her side, holding her hand while the doctor rushed to get everything ready. At every wave of contractions, Queen Twilight Sparkle gave out a pained scream.

"I can't have her now!" Queen Twilight Sparkle said, pained expression on her face with worry in her eyes.

"It's gonna be okay," King Flash Sentry said, holding onto her hand and letting her squeeze his hand whenever she needed too. "Just hold on."

Queen Twilight Sparkle gave another pained scream at another wave of contractions when her parents came into the room.

"It's time." Twilight Velvet told them.

Knowing that she wouldn't be able to walk at the moment, King Flash Sentry went to lift her into his arms but the doctor stopped him.

"It's too late," the doctor said. "We can't move her."

And so, King Flash Sentry shared a glance with his in-laws. If they cannot move her then, their only chance at getting both Queen Twilight Sparkle and Briana out of there and to safety was gone.

So, while his in-laws went to inform his brother and to help keep the enemy at bay, King Flash Sentry remained by his wife's side until she gave birth. It was just for a split second where both King Flash Sentry and Queen Twilight Sparkle got to hold their newborn daughter before they had to make the hardest decision of their lives.

The next thing that they knew was that Briana was gone and had been sent away to safety to Hamato Yoshi.

"SO, DAUGHTER, NOT only did you disobey my orders in my absence, your petty scheme failed miserably." The holographic Shredder said while the Mouser continued to play the holograph.

"It was those stupid Foot Bots," Karai complained. "They couldn't keep up with the turtles, Boy Danger, or the princess. But one good thing, the kranng have been upgrading them, so..."

"Hear me, Karai. You will have no more dealings with the kranng until I return." Shredder said.

"Understood, father." Karai muttered under her breath, lowering her head.

"Wait for my command, and do not defy me again. The consequences would be unfortunate." Shredder said, as then, the hologram ended.

As Karai pushed herself back onto her feet, Jake couldn't help but send his sister a sarcastic smile. "I could've told you that it was a stupid idea." Jake said.

Karai rolled her eyes at her older brother and scoffed. "Yeah, right," she said. "You wouldn't be thinking that if you had came up with it."

"Well, if I had," Jake retorted sharply. "I would've made sure that it succeeded."

Karai narrowed her eyes at him. "How so?"

Jake took a step closer to her menacingly. "Because unlike you, I know how to really strike at the enemy." He then gave her a smirk. "Besides, we both know that father trusts me more since I'm his right-hand."

Karai stood there with a glare, watching him leave. As Jake left the throne room, Cameron was the next one that entered the room as he made his way over to her.

"So, are we still heading over there?" Cameron asked.

Karai nodded. "Let's go."

BOTH KARAI AND Cameron walked to the kranng lab as the two headed over to where the new robot was.

"Not bad," Karai said with a smirk. "How soon until it's online?"

"By kranng's calculations, nine Earth hour units before—" a kranng droid started.

"Nine hours?! I want to test it on someone now!" Karai said.

"And we have the perfect targets too," Cameron said with a smirk. "April O'Neil and Kazimieras Smith."

The moment that those two names left his lips, the kranng all freaked out and froze, staring at them.

Karai frowned, narrowing her eyes at the alien robots. "Is there a problem with that?"

There was complete silence until a voice spoke up, "No, of course not." Karai and Cameron turn to see Ethan walking over. "There's no problem."

"Good," Karai said with a smirk. "Now, let's speed up the process. You don't want to keep the Shredder waiting now, do you?"

MICHELANGELO HAD MADE popcorn for them while they watched more SRMFF. He sat down in front of the tv, munching. Michelangelo then tossed a piece in the air and opened his mouth to catch it, but Raphael caught it and ate it. Michelangelo opened his eyes and looked around, confused. He hesitated before tossing a few more pieces into the air, and Raphael caught and ate the pieces again. Michelangelo looked carefully as he took another piece, tossing it and immediately going to eat it, but Raphael went to grab it at the same time, and Michelangelo had accidentally bit his arm. Raphael yelled and swung at him, but Michelangelo panicked and sucked himself into his shell, his shell spinning on the floor.

Henry heard footsteps approaching and turned to see Donatello approaching, who gave a sad sigh as he stood over them rather sitting. It was obvious where he had gone off too.

The giant robot was fighting what looked like a space squid.

"Unleash mighty super robo mecha laser force energy blast... NOW!"

The robot released a sudden blast of energy from its own form, and it hit the space squid directly, knocking it back offscreen, squealing. Four of the five characters started cheering and hollering in victory. The princess, however, folded her arms in distaste.

"Why not laughter in merriment, princess? Eh?"

"You have all forgotten my glorious, royal birthday, Dr. Blip." The camera cut to all four of the other characters' looks of horror while the monkey squealed loudly. "I am hurt beyond all recognition! I never want to speak to you..." the camera cut to outside the robot, showing the left leg parting with the rest of the body and shooting off into the stars. "...AGAIN!"

"PRINCESS ZE...!"

"Wow, dude," Michelangelo said, looking up at the purple masked mutant turtle. "This show, like, totally paradoxes your life. Kinda owey in the corazon. That means heart."

Donatello groaned. "It's parallels, and it does not! Okay!? It's just a cartoon!"

"Besides, the princess has quit the team like, twenty-seven times. She always comes back." Leonardo said.

"Yeah, but let's face reality," Raphael said. "April's gone for good. We'll probably never see her again."

"Not true. I mean, Kaz forgave us and came back," Briana reminded.

As the conversation continued, Henry turned to see that Donatello was slowly walking towards the lab with his shoulders hunched when suddenly, he ran into the lab and gasped.

"Guys! We have a problem!"

They all looked at each other before jumping to their feet, running into the lab. Donatello was standing by his desk with the Kranng communicator, which was once again active.

THE MOMENT THAT the Kranng communicator was active again, the seven of them had quickly gotten into the ShellRaiser and were heading towards their destination. "From what I could translate from the orb, it seems the Kranng are building some kind of advanced heavy weaponry." Donatello explained.

"Any guess what it could be?" Eclipse asked.

"Ooh! Lasers disguised as burritos!" Michelangelo piped up. "Yes! It all makes sense now."

Raphael stood from his seat. "It does make sense..." he turned slowly and walked over to him. "If you have the brain of AN AVOCADO!"

Michelangelo glared up at him, pointing a threateningly finger at him. Raphael slapped it down and poked him on the forehead before going back to his seat.

"Alright, guys, stay focus," Leonardo said. "We find the weapon, and then we destroy it. And then we get Mexican... pizza."

"RED? AH, I miss a study session again?" Casey questioned as he and Kaz saw April entering the ice rink where the two had been playing hockey.

"No, I'm just here to hang out," she answered.

"With the infamous Casey Jones and his trusty, old sidekick?" Casey asked, a cocky smirk on his face as he skated backwards.

Kaz raised an eyebrow at his best friend, a small smirk on his face. "Sidekick? You wish, Jones."

April smiled. "Unless you only like me for my trigonometry."

"So, what's your deal? Never see you hanging out with anybody. Antisocial much?" Casey questioned curiously.

"No, I—I had some really close friends," April admitted, while Kaz already knew who she was talking about. "I don't talk to them anymore."

"It happens," Casey admitted as he skated. "Me, Kaz, and our best friend, Nick were up against tromatown in last year's playoffs, right? He came up behind me just as I was about to sink the winning goal, and wham! Smacked his helmet straight off. Swollen face, split lip—best friend since second grade, never spoke to me again—or Kaz."

Kaz remembers that day all too well. He remembers how later that same day, Nick had tried convincing Kaz to stay friends with him but without Casey—to choose between him and Casey. Nick may have been one of his best friends last year, but he wouldn't abandon Casey—not when Casey has stuck by him and has been there for him through everything. At the end of the day, Kaz and Nick ended up having an argument about it—Kaz ultimately choosing his friendship with Casey while Nick had walked away from his friendship with both of them.

"Oh, but it's not like you meant it." April said.

"Right, but some stuff is just beyond our control." Casey said, as he and Kaz exited the rink. "Give me a sec to grab my gear. We can stop by to get Mara, Zane, and Calista, and grab something to eat. Pizza."

As Casey left for the locker room to grab his stuff, Kaz sat down on a nearby bench and took his skates off, and then placed his sneakers back on. Once he was done, he looked up to see April staring at her T-phone.

"Donnie," April said quietly before looking over at Kaz. "Is, uh... do you still talk to them or not anymore?"

"For a while, I didn't," Kaz admitted as he stood up from the bench. "But last week, I went down to the lair to see them so, technically I am now." He gave her a small smile, knowing why she hadn't gone yet. "I forgave them for what happened."

"You're not mad at them anymore?"

"I don't think I was ever really mad at them, I just had to clear my head," Kaz said truthfully. "I mean, I know they didn't mean it and that it was a accident, but I think I just wanted to figure out what to do—or how to tell my brothers and my sisters without spilling their secret."

April nodded, understanding. "Yeah, I get that."

"You could go see them, you know?" Kaz asked. "They're not mad. If anything, they miss you, especially Donnie."

Before April could said something, the door to the ice rink suddenly broke as the two whirled to find Foot Bots standing there. "Foot soldiers?" April questioned.

Immediately, the Foot Bots started attacking them as the two quickly avoided their advances. Both Kaz and April quickly got on the ice, as April spoke, "Uh, didn't you guys used to be human?"

"Yo!" The two of them, and the Foot Bots turned to see Casey. "If there's one thing Casey Jones has, it's crackerjack timing." He hopped back on the ice to join.

"Casey, run!" Both Kaz and April said in unison.

"What, so you two can get all the fun? I got them! You guys go!"

"No, we got them! You go!"

"Cross checking. Two minutes. High sticking. It ain't a penalty if they deserve it, right?" Casey said, using his hockey stick to fight back against the Foot Bots alongside Kaz and April. "You got some rink rage, Red. So, do you two owe these guys money or something?"

"Or something," April said. "Casey, just go. We didn't mean to get you into this."

"Trust us, you have no idea what's going on." Kaz added.

"Are you kidding me? Do you know what this is? This is Casey Jones versus evil robot ninjas. Coolest freaking thing in the universe! Goongala!" Casey said, attacking the robots.

As the three of them fought off the robots, more and more of them kept coming. Not wanting Casey to get hurt, Kaz and April knew that they had to get the robots out of there since Casey wouldn't leave them behind.

"Hey, Foot Bots! You want us? Come and get us!"

And with that, both Kaz and April turned and took off running, Casey calling after them. Some of the Foot Bots went after them while the rest remained behind and continued fighting against Casey. But as Kaz and April were leading some of the Foot Bots away, neither one of them knew that Cameron and Karai were watching the tv from a nearby rooftop.

A MINUTE PASSED, the seven teens were standing on a rooftop was right across their destination, guarded by seven kranng droids in disguise. "That's our entry point," Leonardo said. "We just need a distraction."

"Dude, I got the best plan!" Michelangelo said as he climbed onto the billboard on the roof and leapt up to grab one of the lamps.

Raphael huffed. "Why do I feel slightly nauseous?"

"Check it out, I've been practicing!"

Michelangelo turned the lamp so, it was shining on a wall facing away from the front of the building. Some of the droids turned their heads as Michelangelo raised his hands to the light and started moving them to make a rabbit, which made all of the droids turn and look. Then, he somehow made a really good elephant, and the droids started walking toward the show. Then, Michelangelo twisted his hands and made a realistic belly dancer dancing on the wall.

With the droids distracted, the seven of them leapt off the rooftop and landed on one droid—one after the other. Once the droids were down, Michelangelo jumped down to join them.

"Wow, Mikey," Boy Danger said, impressed. "You got mad shadow puppetry skills."

"Like a turtle do!"

Then, they climbed inside the middle window of their destination and kept as quiet as possible. Once inside, they walked down the hallway, and a few short minutes later, they made a few turns and emerged into a bigger, taller room than the others, which was some sort of lab. Inside the lab was several droids inside along with a few floating aliens with no vessel, and Ethan was there as well, typing something in at the computer. At the center of the room, was what looked like a very tall, very large droid covered in metal and ninja armor. It stood completely still, connected to the several cables and wires, almost like it was charging.

"Holy, heck..." Donatello said, staring at the droid. "I think we just found the secret weapon."

"Alright, Donnie, we need you to shut that thing down." Leonardo ordered.

"No problem—"

A soft, obvious buzzing came from the back of his belt that made them all freeze—Donatello looking like a deer in headlights.

"You've got to be kidding me." Eclipse said.

"Dude, you're vibrating." Michelangelo said.

Donatello pulled out his phone, his face lit up instantly. "It's April!"

"Donnie, this isn't the best time—" Boy Danger said.

But Donatello was already answering the call. "Hi, this is Donna—Denner—Dinner—Donom—" he stopped stuttering and listened to April's voice on the other end. "She needs me, guys," he said determinedly. "I gotta go. Hold on, April, I'll be right there!"

"What—Donnie!" Boy Danger said.

"We need you!" Leonardo added.

Donatello had ignored them and was already running in the opposite direction.

"He ditched us!?" Raphael asked angrily.

"Okay, we can still—"

At the soft of another soft buzzing, they all froze and turned to Captain Violet, who looked like she was a deer in headlights. She snapped out and took out her T-phone, whirling away from the lab.

"Kaz? Uh, now's not—"

"April and I are running from Foot Bots and—whoa!" There was the sound of weapons being thrown in the background. "Things are really out of control now!"

Captain Violet went to answer but before she could, someone cleared their throat and turning, they saw Ethan standing just a few feet away from them with the kranng droids, aiming their guns at them.

Ethan smirked. "Well, look what we have here."

"Aw, sewer apples." Raphael said with a frown.

"Uh... we might be a while." Captain Violet admitted into her phone.

Right when the droids started firing, they all jumped out of the way to avoid it and drawn their weapons, slicing the droids in half. As they were dodging the kranng's advances, each one of them destroyed a droid or knocked back one of the floating aliens with no vessel. Ethan, who just finished typing on the computer, pressed a button that caused the huge robot to start powering up while the cables and wires disconnected from him.

"Um, guys, giant freaking robo-ninja just finished charging." Leonardo said, eyes wide with panic.

"You don't look so tough." Michelangelo said, charging at the robot only for it to kick him over.

"Mikey!"

The rest of the others rushed forward to attack the robot, but the robot simply swatted them away easily. The robot grabbed Leonardo and slammed him onto the ground.

"Subroutine program taking over," the robot said. "Target: April O'Neil and Kazimieras Smith located." Then, the robot released Leonardo and flew off.

"It's going after April and Kaz! Come on!"

THE SHELLRAISER ZOOMED around the corner, and as it spun out, it slammed into the large droid, sending it flying as it smacked right into the brick wall. Manhole covers started shooting out, hitting the droid right in the head. "Eat it, Chromedome!" Michelangelo said from the inside.

The robot's eyes started glowing and lasers shot out, slicing through the manhole covers. Chromedome then ran at the van, grabbed it, and flipped it on its side like it was nothing. Leonardo, Boy Danger, Raphael, Michelangelo, Eclipse, and Captain Violet leapt from the van and landed on the ground.

"Aw, man, I just waxed her too!" Leonardo whined.

The sound of grunting and yelling grabbed everyone's attention as they turned to see Chromedome still trying to fight Karai and Cameron.

"Dude, I so want a plasma chain! Donnie, can you hook a turtle up?" Michelangelo asked excitedly.

Then, Chromedome took out one of the smaller Foot Bots and ripped him to pieces. Sparks flew everywhere as he tossed the robotic pieces aside.

Donatello gasped. "Guys! I think I know how we can take that thing down!"

"Oh, are you on this team?" Eclipse retorted, running past him.

"You totally just left us fighting that thing!" Raphael said angrily, running past him.

"Yeah, way to ditch us, dude!" Leonardo added, running past him alongside Boy Danger and Captain Violet.

Michelangelo blew a raspberry in their direction as he followed the others.

"Go easy on him, guys! If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't—"

"I don't need that stupid robot to finish you." Karai said, glaring at April as she attacked her.

"Now, I think we had a fight to finish." Cameron said, glaring at Kaz as he attacked him.

"April!"

"Kaz!"

"Leo and I will help April and Kaz!" Boy Danger said as he and Leonardo started running over. "You guys take down—"

"Chromedome!"

They turned to face Chromedome as he popped the head off of another Foot Bot. They glanced at each other before charging at the robot. Raphael and Eclipse were the first to advance on the robot from either side, then Captain Violet, then Michelangelo. At the last moment, Michelangelo took out his chain and tossed it forward. It wrapped around Chromedome's arms, holding it in place while Captain Violet used her sword to stab the robot's eyes.

"Donnie, now!"

Donatello leapt up and got onto the robot's back. He used his blade to open the back panel, and yanked out the wires. Chromedome went stiff for a moment before starting to spin incredibly fast. Colors and shapes blurred in front of them as the robot spun as they all yelled out in agony, only getting dizzier by the second. Michelangelo, Captain Violet, Raphael, and Eclipse lost their grips and went flying, hitting the ground and stopped at their side. Donatello was the only one, holding onto Chromedome still for dear life.

Michelangelo then spotted Chromedome's laser katana, beaming as he jumped to his feet and grabbed the weapon. Donatello managed to slip off of Chromedome's head, tumbling on the ground. Michelangelo sprinted forward, katana in hand and with determination on his face, he ran straight for the robot and stabbed it straight in the back.

The robot went still for a moment, sparks flying from its chest. Then, it fell onto its knees and fell flat on its back.

Michelangelo pulled the katana back and stared at it in awe. "Whoa! Can I keep it? Can I keep it?" He started dancing around and swinging the sword, almost hitting the others as Raphael, Donatello, Eclipse, and Captain Violet ducked to avoid it. Then, Raphael, Donatello, and Eclipse sprang up, glaring at him. He quickly dropped the katana, laughing nervously.

They turned to find Leonardo and Boy Danger helping April and Kaz to their feet as they walked over, relief on their faces.

"I just... need to catch my breath," April gasped, breathing heavily before turning to look at them. "I know I didn't deserve your help after what I did. But... thanks, guys. I just... wanted to say..." suddenly, she gasped as her eyes widened. "Oh, my gosh!" She looked over at Kaz, panicked. "We forgot about Casey!"

"Casey?" Both Captain Violet and Boy Danger asked, a bit confused.

Kaz felt his eyes widened in panic. "Aw, shell!"

Then, both Kaz and April quickly ran out of the alley, hoping to make it back to the ice rink to make sure Casey was okay.

"That's what she wanted to said?" Raphael asked.

BY THE TIME that April and Kaz made it back to the ice rink, Casey had just finished fighting the Foot Bots by using them as hockey practice. "Casey!" He turned at the sound of his name being called to find April and Kaz running over.

"Are you okay—? Whoa, whoa, whoa!" April almost fell on the ice while Kaz caught his balance—Casey catching April before she could fell.

"Of course I'm okay." Casey assured them, much to their relief.

But unaware to them, Donatello was watching from the shadows with a small frown on his face at April with Casey.

BACK AT THE lair, the seven of them had finally managed to finish watching the episode of SRMFF and towards the end of the episode, the princess had, obviously, returned to the team once again, attaching the left foot to the robot as the team rode off into the stars.

"Hey, guys..."

They all turned to see April standing by the edge of the pit, a smile on her face as she looked at them. They all stood at once.

"April!"

"You're back!"

"Dude!"

"What uuuup!?"

Splinter came out of the dojo and down to the entrance as April turned to face him.

"Mm, It is very good to see you, April." He said, smiling.

"I missed you, Master Splinter," April said. "I... hope we can start training again soon."

"Of course, whenever you wish." Splinter said with a nod.

April smiled and turned to face the others again. "I never got the chance to tell you guys that I'm sorry, for everything."

"You're sorry?" Leonardo asked. "But we were the ones that screwed up."

April shook her head. "It was an accident. And, more importantly, you guys are my friends. I don't ever wanna hold a grudge again."

Michelangelo leapt forward, giving a thumbs up. "You da best, April! To mark this day, I offer you the slice of eternal reunion." And from behind him, he pulled out a pizza slice that was covered in garbage.

"It has lint and dead bugs on it."

"I know, I just found it under my bed." Michelangelo said. "It's eternal." He shoved the entire slice into his mouth, eating it. April winched while the others grimaced in disgust.

April stepped into the pit, heading directly for Donatello. "Thanks, Donnie," she said. "For... always being there for me, even when I didn't want you to be." Then, April threw herself on him, wrapping her arms around him in a tight hug. Donatello smiled contently, hugging back.

She took a step back but held his face to her own and kissed his cheek. He gasped softly, jaw dropping as his eyes went wide. She stepped away, smiling as she turned away. Just as she did, Donatello's knees started shaking and he crumpled into a giggling heap on the floor—April somehow didn't notice it.

"Well, I'll see you all at training tomorrow." April told them as she turned and left.

The moment that she was gone, they all turned to Donatello, who was still laying in a heap on the ground while they shook their heads at him.

"Things are gonna start to go out of control now. Trust me, it's gonna be crazy now."
