"Teamwork. Everyone needs it and let me tell you this, it's always better to have the people that you trust the most by your side cause in the end, you know that they'll always have your back."
TRAINING WAS A lot easier since Splinter had them practicing some katas. He stood by the tree, watching silently. Henry, Donatello, Michelangelo, Eclipse, and Briana were going reasonably slow in order to focus on getting the moves perfect, Raphael was zooming straight his katas perfectly, and Leonardo was getting into it by going in super slow motion.
"What, are you fighting a guy in slow motion?" Raphael snapped in his direction.
"I suppose I could do it faster, if I ignored my form. Like you."
"Ignore this form!"
Raphael turned around and charged at him as the others came to stop, moving out of the way as the two started fighting. Henry, Eclipse, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Briana just stood there, watching the two mutant turtles fight as if it was any other normal day. While the two brothers were fighting, Splinter moved forward and reached forward with both hands and seized the two turtles by the pressure points in their necks. They both yelped and Splinter separated them before releasing them, and the two brothers crumbled to the ground.
"Competition is an excellent motivator, but not when it turns you against each other," he said, waiting until the two brothers got up to continue. "So, now, you will spar two-on-two."
Leonardo grinned, folding his arms. "Okay, I'll take Do--"
"You will take Raphael. You two must learn to work together, not competing against each other," Splinter said firmly before he added. "And since they're the only ones that seem to be able to break up your fights, you two will take Henry, Eclipse, and Briana with you."
Immediately, the three mutants and the two human teenagers stared up at the mutant rat withย skeptical expressions on their faces. "Wait, so it's me, Clips, Hen, Leo, and Raph against Donnie and Mikey?" Briana asked.
"Uh, isn't that a little unfair?" Leonardo asked.
"Wait, what are you trying to said?" Donatello asked accusingly.
"Um, how can I put this gently?" Raphael questioned with a smirk. "We're way better than you guys."
"At fighting, maybe." Michelangelo said, not seeing the point of his words.
"That's what he meant." Eclipse told him.
Both Michelangelo and Donatello frowned at those words as once again, they all got into fighting positions. "Hajime!"
Their reactions were in a instant and within seconds, both Donatello and Michelangelo were on the ground before they could even get a chance. Leonardo and Raphael shared a high-five before two fallen ninjas stood back up but once again, they were knocked onto the ground in a instant. The only difference is that this time, they stayed down.
"Yame!"
"You were right, Sensei," Raphael said. "Working together is fun!"
"Yeah, when it works in your favor." Henry said.
"Exactly!"

"THE PURPLE DRAGONS gang agreed to raise our cut to 80%," DogPound informed Shredder. "No complaints."
"Well, would you look at that, Bradford? You're finally useful for something." Jake said, ignoring the growl he heard from the mutant dog.
"It seems your mutated form has its advantages. But do not forget our primary goals: Locating Splinter and his students as well as retrieving Princess Briana." Shredder said firmly.
"If I weren't stuck in here, I would have caught Splinter and captured Princess Briana by now." Xever said from his spot underneath the glass and inside the water.
"And you're completely useless. Oh, wait, you were always useless." Jake told the mutant fish with a glare, earning one in return.
"But you are stuck in there." DogPound said with a laugh as he tapped on the glass, cutting into the glaring contest between the two.
"No, no, no! Stop that! Stop that! Ow! Ow! Stop it! Stop it!" Xever said angrily.
"I'm sure you'll have your chance to shine one of these days. Master Shredder might get hungry for sushi." DogPound taunted with a smirk.
"Why don't you get in the water and said that?" Xever retorted.
"Enough, Xever! Bradford is right. You are useless to me this way." Shredder stated before turning to the mutant dog. "I'm counting on you. Find me information I can use, or Xever won't be the only one missing his legs."
Once DogPound nodded and left the room, Jake turned towards his adoptive father. "Not that I'm doubting you, father, but is it really smart for us to let that Tyson kid act as our spy? I know he's been our spy for a while now and he's been helping an eye on my cousin when she's at school with her little friends but can we really trust him?"
"You think he would betray us?"
"No, I don't think the kid's that stupid," Jake said as he shook his head. "I just don't want him to be the reason why she gets away from us a second time. We could've had Briana by now if Axel would just tell us where their lair is."
"Tyson knows of the consequences that would follow if he betrays us," Shredder said. "As for Detective Carson, if he doesn't start talking soon, I believe you know what you need to do."
At his words, Jake nodded as a smirk came onto his face.
"Of course, father. After all, it turns out that my cousin happens to be friends with his son."

NEITHER DONATELLO OR Michelangelo had stopped sulking about being second-best for the rest of the day once training was over. The two were embarrassed by what happened in the dojo and although it was true that Leonardo, Raphael, Henry, Eclipse, and Briana were better fighters, Donatello and Michelangelo were still great fighters as much as they were.
"Donnie, Mikey, come on," Henry encouraged. "Just because me, Leo, Raph, Clips, and Bri are better fighters doesn't mean you guys aren't. You guys are great fighters too."
"We're just better." Raphael said, reading his comic book while he sat on the couch.
"Not helping."
"Besides, it's called training for a reason. You just need to practice, that's all," Eclipse said, sitting on the couch as she read her own comic book. "Remember Bri when we all first started training back when we were kids?"
Briana couldn't help but turn red as she blushed in embarrassment while the others laughed, recalling how the purple haired teenage girl used to be so skinny back then that she was never able to hold a weapon properly and was always dropping it on the ground. "Don't remind me of that! It was embarrassing! I couldn't even keep my balance because of how skinny I used to be!" Briana whined, blushing in embarrassment.
"No, it was adorable," Leonardo teased with a smirk as they kept laughing. "You were always trying so hard to get it right."
Briana pouted at their laughter and slumped down in her seat, trying to hide her red face behind Max's fur, who was laying on her lap. She petted Max behind his ear since it was his favorite spot to get pet as his tail started wagging excitedly while her sapphire blue eyes moved to the tv that was playing her favorite cartoon.
"But anyways," Henry added once they were all able to stop laughing. "You two are still an important part of this team."
"As important as you guys?" Donatello questioned, not sounding convinced.
"Uh, very important," Leonardo said. "We shouldn't compare ourselves. It's like apples and oranges."
"Yeah, if apples were better, which they are." Raphael muttered.
"So, the truth comes out," Donatello declared as Michelangelo slid off the couch and stood up.
"You guys think of us as some kind of... B-Team!" Michelangelo accused.
"You are not helping your case." Eclipse told him.
"Good one, Dr. Name-enstien," Raphael said with a smirk, looking over the top of his comic. "We'll call you the B-Team."
"Thanks!" Michelangelo paused then glared. "Hey!"
"There's no shame in it," Leonardo said as he gestured to the tv, which was playing Space Heroes. "Look! They got a B-Team too!"
"We'll need back up. You two in the shirts! You're coming with us!"
"Rodriguez! And... that other guy! They're gone!"
"Well... that's why we bring them along."
"Thanks a lot," Donatello said dully.
Leonardo chuckled. "The point is, they had an important function."
Before Henry could add something else, his ears suddenly pricked up, causing him to be more alert upon picking up the sound of incoming movement. He turned his head towards the turnstile, tensed but quickly relaxed when he saw it was just April and Kaz stepping into the lair. What caught his attention was the distress on April's face and the annoyance on Kaz's face.
"April." Donatello said as he got up and ran up to her, the others following close behind. "What's wrong? Are you okay?"
"I just got mugged by some Purple Dragons." April said miserably. "They stole my phone."
"They took yours too?" Briana asked the dark brown haired teenage boy curiously, putting Max down on the ground.
"Pretty much, it was my idiot older brother who took it." Kaz said.
"Don't worry, we'll kick their butts for you." Leonardo said.
"Yeah, we'll teach those punks what happens when they mess with you guys." Raphael said as he punched a fist into his palm.
April shook her head. "Guys, it's just a phone. I'll get another one."
Kaz nodded in agreement. "Yeah, I can just tell my mom what happened and she'd let me get another phone."
"Besides, what's the point of being a ninja if you can't help your friends when they get robbed?" Donatello urged.
"April and Kaz are right," Splinter said. "It's best to let this go."
"What do you mean?" Leonardo questioned. "Why shouldn't we get their phones back?"
"One cannot predict the consequences of battle," Splinter said as he approached them. "Every fight has the potential to stir a hornet's nest. A simple cell phone does not justify this risk."
"What risk?" Raphael asked. "It's the Purple Dragons! Even Mikey and Donnie could beat them!"
"Hey!" Donatello and Michelangelo said.
"He's not wrong," Eclipse told the two. "They're way too easy to beat."
"Don't worry, Sensei," Leonardo said. "We'll be careful."
And with that, the five mutant turtles and Briana turned and hopped over the turnstile.
"Well, wish me luck." Henry told his father figure with a sigh before he hopped over the turnstile and went after them.
"Eh, what ya gonna do?" April questioned.
"Hope my next pupils are more obedient." Splinter said, tossing her and Kaz their own wooden swords, which they both caught.
๐๐๐
SINCE THEY REMEMBERED where the Purple Dragons' hideout was, it wasn't hard to track them down at all. Kevin was sitting down in the lair, watching the other members of the gang throwing knives at a picture they had on the wall with a annoyed expression on his face. Earlier, the other members of the gang had taken a photo of a turtle from a magazine and taped it to the wall. Although Kevin was in the gang, he never bothered to learn or remember everybody's names, just a few like Fong, Rainier, and the only person he'd consider as his best friend, Hun. All the other members he focused on their appearances, using it as their nicknames to talk to them when he needed too.
One of the members that he referred to as Mustache drew another knife and threw it at the picture. It hit the turtle dead-on. "Right in the shell!" He bragged, turning to Rainier. "Let's see you beat that."
Rainier stood and took the knife from him. "Watch and learn..." With a flick of his wrist, he threw the knife. It hit the turtle in the picture right at its head and Rainier turned to Mustache with a cocky smirk. "I think I just did beat that. And I think I just won this bet." He said with a laugh.
Mustache scoffed and glared. "Alright, that's it! No more bets!"
Rainier smirked cockily. "Aw, you sure? Who knows, maybe your luck will turn around."
Without waiting for a call, Raphael suddenly lunged forward and kicked Rainier so hard that he flew back and hit the opposite wall. Kevin jumped up from his seat from the sudden appearance of the seven pesky teenagers that kept interfering with them while Fong spit out his drink and spluttered, "The turtles, Boy Danger, and Captain Violet!?"
Raphael glared. "Sup?"
One by one, the others dropped down to join him.
"Get them!" Fong shouted.
Then, Mustache yelled, lunged towards Michelangelo.
The orange masked mutant turtle smirked, bringing out his nun-chucks. "Bring it--!"
"Coming through!" Raphael appeared out of nowhere and kicked Mustache out of the way. Michelangelo dropped his arms, glaring at his brother.
Boy Danger's ears pricked at the sound of shuffling from behind, alerting him that someone was coming up to attack from behind. He turned and saw Rainier charging at him as he stood there, waiting for the right moment to react. At the last second, Boy Danger shifted to the right, and Rainier ran right past him. He skidded to a halt and turned, Boy Danger smirked as Rainier ran up at him again, arms out. He spun, moving left to avoid him and right as Rainier charged at him one more time, Boy Danger leapt into the air and swung his leg, delivering a roundhouse kick that sent Rainier flying back and crashing into the wall behind him.
Eclipse blocked Fong's attack with her kamas and swept his feet, knocking him onto the ground. She watches as Fong stands up again and goes to charge again before she rolls her eyes in annoyance and leapt up, slamming her knee into his chin, sending him flying back onto the ground where he stayed laying this time. She landed easily on her feet and straightened.
"That was easy," Eclipse said. "Too easy."
"I got it!" She heard Leonardo called out and turned to see Kevin and Donatello charging at each other, ready to fight, only for the blue masked mutant turtle to jump between and kicking Kevin away.
"Hey!" Donatello protested, looking annoyed.
"Let's get out of here!" Mustache called out. He and Rainier took off, only for their exit to be blocked by Raphael, Captain Violet, and Michelangelo. They spun around to run the other way, just to find Leonardo, Eclipse, Donatello, and Boy Danger blocking their way.
Leonardo grabbed Fong and pushed him hard against the wall. "You punks stole a phone from our friends. We want them back!"
Fong snorted. "Whatever, we steal a lotta phones."
"Well, let's see them," Leonardo commanded. "Now!"
Then, the next thing they knew was that the seven teenagers were staring at the Purple Dragons' stashed of stolen goods that included a ton of cameras, laptops, speakers, phones, a few iPods, and a whole bunch of other stuff that they considered to be valuable.
"Hey, that looks like it." Donatello said, pointing at one of the phones that belonged to April.
"There it is." Captain Violet said, spotting Kaz's phone laying not that far from April's phone.
Before anyone could reach for the two phones, the ground suddenly started shaking as everyone started focusing on keeping their balance. "Does anyone else feel that?" Michelangelo asked.
"What's going on!?" Mustache shouted towards the other Purple Dragons members.
The floor crack and split open before anyone could answer as everyone stepped away in order to not fall in. A second later, a small, silver robot jumped out of the new hole in the ground. More and more robots that looked exactly the same as those began to arrive, jumping from the hole.
"What the heck?" Eclipse asked.
The little robots leapt over to the pile of stolen electronics, snatching a few objects into their sharp jaws then they retracted back into the hole while more robots came up and took more stuff.
"Wait! Where's--?" Boy Danger whipped around to see Fong sprinting up a flight of stairs. He waved his hand, holding April's phone in one and in the other, he was holding Kaz's phone. He laughed, giving a mock salute, and ran off. "He's got the phones!"
"B-team, get the phones! We'll handle the metal!" Leonardo shouted, taking out his katana swords.
"Hey!" Donatello started. "We are--"
"Just go!" Leonardo snapped.
Raphael grinned, shouting. "And if you guys can't handle it, don't be ashamed to call for help."
Captain Violet sighed but running after Boy Danger, Eclipse, Leonardo, and Raphael while Donatello and Michelangelo went after the phones.
๐๐๐
THE TUNNELS MADE by the robots were huge and long, going on for what felt like hours. After what felt like following the robots for miles and miles, they saw the robots jump down at the end of the tunnel. "This must be the place." Leonardo said, as they gathered around the hole.
They leaned down and peered through. They could see the little robots running around, each one holding a stolen valuable in their jaws. From somewhere below, a low chuckle was heard.
"Well done, my pretties!"
"Stockman?" Leonardo muttered. "Come on!" They jumped through the hole and to the floor below. The moment they touched the ground, they noticed a familiar man standing there while he was wearing a awful pink sweater.
"Dexter Spackman!" Raphael declared.
"It's Baxter Stockman!" He corrected. "So, you're here to stop me again! Well, you don't stand a chance against my Mousers!"
"Mousers?" Eclipse questioned.
"Mobile Offensive Underground Search Excavation and Retrieval Sentries!" Baxter declared proudly.
Captain Violet blinked at the long name.
"Seems a little forced." Leonardo stated simply.
Boy Danger shook his head. "Nope, it's totally forced."
"Since my test robbery was so successful, it's time to move onto bigger targets!" Baxter grinned. "These are about to make me very, very rich."
"And we're about to make you very, very hurt!" Raphael growled.
Just as they all advanced, Baxter pulled out a silver bottle and pressed down on the top that caused a thick, red spray to shot out and hit them in the face.
"Protect your eyes!" Leonardo ordered.
As they all covered their faces and coughed, Boy Danger felt his nose twitched as he coughed. He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion when he didn't smell anything unusual. Both Donatello and Briana had worked on something in the lab with chemicals and he practically had the strong scent that the toxic gave off memorized but for some reason, he didn't smell any strong scents at all.
"Wait, we're fine." Eclipse said.
Leonardo paused. "You're right," he glared at Baxter. "Get him!"
"Get me? No, you will be the ones who will be getting got!" He frowned. "Gotten'...?... Get them!"
The mousers charged at them as they took out their weapons, easily slicing through the metal robots. Within a matter of seconds, all of the mousers were destroyed.
"Ha! All gone." Raphael bragged cockily.
Baxter smirked. "Good thing I made extra." He pulled out a remote and pressed the large, red button. There came a loud, high-pitched ringing sound, and the seven teenagersโmainly Boy Danger winced, as the masked teenaged boy covered his sensitive ears for a second. A large door beside them slid open and inside were what looked like hundreds upon hundreds of tiny Mousers.
Bam! They all turned to see two double doors burst open, and several large groups of Mousers spilled out. With their weapons at hand, they all began to take out the Mousers but as they did, more Mousers kept coming.
"We're outnumbered here!" Captain Violet said, kicking a Mouser away.
"I'm calling it, time to go!" Boy Danger said after he and the blue masked mutant turtle sent each other a confirmed nod.
"I'll allow it!" Raphael agreed.
"Let's go!" Eclipse said in agreement.
And with that, they all sprinted for the exit. Unfortunately, a large wave of Mousers were chasing after them as they continued to run off.
๐๐๐
THEY WERE STILL running and jumping over the roofs to avoid the Mousers as they were trying to put as much distance as possible between them and the Mousers. After what felt like running for hours, they all halted to a stop on the roof of an apartment building in order to catch their breath.
"You think we lost them yet?" Leonardo asked.
Boy Danger's ears flicked up at a loud whirring sound. Looking over the edge, he saw a huge group of Mousers running across the street and stopping at the building they were at.
"I'd say no." Eclipse stated.
They turned and took off again, jumping to the next building and pressing on. "How are those things tracking us?" Raphael asked.
"It's gotta be that stuff he sprayed us with." Captain Violet said.
"Maybe we should call Donnie." Leonardo suggested.
"You wanna get bailed out by the B-Team?" Raphael snapped. "Forget that!"
"Uh, I'm pretty sure we don't have a choice." Eclipse said.
They hopped over the building and skidded to a halt in front of a tower, giving Boy Danger a idea as he drew one of his twin swords. "Well, whatever this stuff is, maybe we can wash it off."
And with that, Boy Danger sliced a thick pipe leading into the tower and water started spewing out all over them. Suddenly, before anyone of them could said anything, there was a loud screech somewhere behind them as they whipped their heads over to see a couple of Mousers crawling up over the edge of the roof.
Boy Danger sighed in annoyance. "You've gotta be kidding me."
"Of course, we could call Donnie just to say hi." Raphael said.
๐๐๐
"OF ALL THE places we could've stayed until you called..."
"There was nowhere else to go!" Leonardo said, looking over the edge of the water tower that they were all standing on to keep a good distance from the Mousers as he took out his T-Phone. Already, several Mousers were below, snapping their jaws up at them. "It's ringing."
"I'm kinda in the middle of something."
"Yeah? Well, so are we." Leonardo stated.
"What's the matter?" Donatello questioned. "Oh! Don't tell me the A-Team needs our help?"
Leonardo laughed nervously. "Uh... no! Haha! No, of course not! No, w-we're great! We were just... uh, you know, checking to see if you guys needed any help."
"Liar." Eclipse told him simply.
"We got this. We followed Fong to the defunct futon factory on Fifth." Say that five times fast. "Anyway, we got an awesome plan to get the phones back. How are you guys doing?"
Boy Danger saw the conflicted expression on her brother's face. "Leonardo." He said sternly, narrowing his eyes at him.
He looked at him, then at the phone and groaned. "You know, good..." Boy Danger glared at him. "...ish."
Captain Violet looked over the edge and saw more Mousers had gathered. By now, they'd begun chomping on the wooden support beams. "We're doomed." She simply said.
Leonardo looked over the edge and gasped. "Whoops! Call waiting! Gotta go!" He quickly hung up.
"Of all the times for you to be independent, you just had to pick now?" Boy Danger told him.
Leonardo sighed. "You were right, we've gotta beat these things on our own if it kills us."
Captain Violet, Boy Danger, Eclipse, and Raphael stared at him.
"Seriously?" Eclipse asked.
"Okay, bad choice of words." Leonardo admitted.
There came a loud creaking sound, and the support beams finally gave in. The tower collapsed, taking them down with it.
๐๐๐
"LOOK, GUYS!" LEONARDO called out, getting their attention as he held up his katana blades that held Mouser heads on them. "Mouser-kabobs!"
Eclipse sliced two Mousers that came at her with kamas with ease while Raphael stabbed two Mousers with his sais and threw them over the edge of the roof. He turned, panting slightly. "These things are a cakewalk!" He called.
"I can tell." Boy Danger said, using his twin swords to stab two Mousers.
Captain Violet held her katana sword and sliced one of the Mousers in half. Then, the five teenagers jumped over the edge, flipped down to the fire escape, and landed in the alley as a couple of Mousers joined them.
"Fun little things, aren't they?" Eclipse remarked as she kicked a robot up and stabbed it on the downfall.
"I could do this all day!" Leonardo said.
"Me too!" Raphael agreed.
Then, the Mousers were pushing the red masked mutant turtle into the middle of the road, and to their horror, the headlights of an oncoming truck and heard the roar of an engine.
"Raph!" Captain Violet and the other two masked mutant turtles shouted.
As Raphael froze at the oncoming truck, Boy Danger lunged forward and tackled him to the other side of the street just as the truck passed by. They tumbled onto the concrete and rolled to a stop.
Exhausted from all of the fighting against the Mousers, Boy Danger panted as he pushed himself up and helped the red masked mutant turtle up. "You okay?" He asked.
He nodded. "Yeah, that was... so fun."
"You guys okay?" Eclipse asked as she, Captain Violet, and Leonardo came running over to them.
Before they could answer, more Mousers ran from the alley. "Oh, come on!" Captain Violet whined, breathing heavily from how tired she was.
"It's almost too much fun." Leonardo said.
In silent agreement, the five of them turned and sprinted away. "We can't keep doing this forever! I'm sick of these stupid robots!" Boy Danger said.
"So am I," Leonardo agreed. "This is crazy! Maybe we should callโ"
"We can do this!" Raphael urged breathlessly.
"Then, what do we do now?" Eclipse asked.
Raphael turned his head to look at the streetlights. "I got an idea."
๐๐๐
"IF THIS DOESN'T work, Raph, we're calling for help."
"Don't worry, it will."
They were all currently standing on top of the streetlight, waiting for the Mousers to arrive. Sure enough, a huge group came around the building's corner.
"Up here, metal-mouth!" Leonardo yelled, banging his katana against the light.
The Mousers screeched up at them as several of them ran at the pole and started chomping down on it. They turned to look at Raphael, who nodded, and they all nodded back in return. Drawing out their weapons, they each leapt off the streetlight and jumped down, going ahead with the red masked mutant turtle's plan.
Eclipse had jumped off of the water hydrant just as one of the Mousers latched its jaws onto the nozzle. A second later, it yanked the nozzle off and water shot out all over the street.
"Your move, Raph!" Eclipse called.
Raphael took out one of the sais and hopped off the streetlight. He used his sai to glide across the power cord and jumped off, landing on the sidewalk beside the others. The streetlight, metal broke by the Mousers, creaked loudly before leaning forward and falling to the ground. The light burst, and electricity shot out through the water in the street, electrocuting the Mousers. The power died out, and the Mousers fell.
Before they could said anything, there was this soft, distant screech that caused them to whipped their heads around just to see that down the street was a single Mouser that let out a loud screech, and the next thing that they knew was that many, many more appeared.
"I hate these stupid robots." Boy Danger said with a annoyed groan.
They turned and took off running again, the Mousers following behind. As they turned into an alley, they spotted an old tool shed and ran inside. Leonardo slammed the door shut once they were all inside and the Mousers slammed against the door from the outside while the five of them leaned their backs against the door.
"Can we please call for help now?" Captain Violet questioned.
"Okay, I admit it! I wish Donnie was here!" Raphael admitted. "I bet he could find a way to get these things off our tail!" A Mouser then burst its head through the door, just between Leonardo's legs as they all let out a startled yell. "Make the call!" He yelled.
As the blue masked mutant turtle dialed, he used his free hand to draw his sword and use the end to knock the Mouser back outside. A dial tone hits his ear and he heard his brother's ringtone. "He's not answering!"
"Try Mikey." Eclipse said.
Then, Leonardo dialed Michelangelo's number and hoped that he'd pick up. He frowned when another dial tone sounded, followed by another ringtone. "Mikey's not answering either! Something's wrong!"
Raphael shook his head. "I shoulda known they'd need us to bail themโ"
Bam! The doors finally burst open and the five of them yelled as they were flung forward, landing on the ground. The Mousers screeched and went to advanced on them just as the five of them got up and sprinted off again.
๐๐๐
IT DIDN'T TAKE long to get to the futon factory than they expected. The five of them stood on the roof, looking through the skylight where they could see everything and everyone inside. DogPound was there, with the Purple Dragons, and someone else that they weren't able to make out at the moment. But the ones that really got their attention were Donatello and Michelangelo, who were chained to the wall and hanging by their wrists.
Boy Danger could've swore that something inside of him literally growled at the sight. "Make them pay." A voice from inside his head told him, a sudden anger grew in his stomach that he slightly looked confused before he pushed it aside in order to focus.
Both April's and Kaz's phones were laying on a table beside a computer directly below. DogPound walked around the table and toward the two mutant turtles. Curiously, the five ninjas quietly snuck in and stuck to the ceiling beams for cover in order to eavesdropped on the mutant dog.
"While that's running, I got a few questions for yah." DogPound said as he folded his arms. "I'm only gonna ask this once: where's the girl?"
"What girl?" Michelangelo asked.
"That purple haired kunoichi, obviously," DogPound said as Boy Danger, Leonardo, Raphael, and Eclipse snuck a quick glance at Captain Violet, who kept her eyes on the scene below, before looking back down themselves. "Briana."
"What do you want with her?" Donatello demanded.
"That's none of your business," DogPound snapped. "It's only Shredder's and Jake's."
Captain Violet blinked with a small frown. 'What's going on? Why do they want me personally?' She thought secretly to herself.
"Sorry to disappoint your boss, but we're not saying a thing." Donatello said firmly.
"Yeah!" Michelangelo agreed.
Then DogPound chuckled darkly. "Fine by me. The phone might not be able to tell me where she is, but I can get the answer out of one of you instead." He walked back over to the table.
'They won't sell me out.' Captain Violet thought secretly to herself as if she was trying to reassure herself what she already knew.
"Are you sure about that? How long are you gonna keep telling yourself that they actually care about you?" Unagami taunted the girl from inside her head.
Captain Violet gritted her teeth as she did her best not to make a sound, not wanting to get caught just because she started talking to the demon that's inside of her.
"At some point, you'll realize that it's all just a act and that they don't actually need you nor do they want you. And I, for one, can't wait to watch it happen." Unagami added as she laughed a little from inside the girl's head before ending the conversation between the two.
Captain Violet almost didn't notice that Leonardo, Raphael, Boy Danger, and Eclipse were about to jump down as she quickly got ready, drawing her katana blade. "On my mark. Ready... now!" Leonardo said as he drew his swords.
The five of them then jumped down at the same time, their weapons at hand. Landing with no problems, they looked up to face the mutant dog.
"The turtles? Boy Danger? And Briana?" He growled.
"Not so fast, DogPound!" Leonardo said. "And... Dexter Spackman?"
"Baxter Stockman!" He yelled.
DogPound growled, leaping over the desk and charging at them. He made the swing at Leonardo, who leapt forward and ran forward while the others jumped out of the way and the fight officially begun.
"How did you escape my Mousers?" Baxter demanded.
"About that," Captain Violet said with a small smirk. "We didn't."
As soon as those words were said, dozens of Mousers fell from the hole in the skylight. They toppled over the heads of DogPound and Baxter, distracting them and it gave the five of them the chance to run up to the other two mutant turtles, as they quickly freed them.
"Oh, yeah," Donatello said sarcastically. "Looks like you guys were doing great."
Raphael glared at him. "You try fighting off 2,000 robots!" He snapped.
"And now might be a good time to take care of them." Eclipse said.
Just as the Mousers went to attack them, the seven of them defended themselves against the robots with their weapons. "Donnie, what's the deal?" Boy Danger asked, slicing two Mousers in half with his twin swords. "Why does DogPound want April's and Kaz's phones?"
"It's not the phone, it's what's on it!" Donatello informed, swinging his staff into a couple of robots. "They're trying to hack into the GPS log. If they get in, they'll know every place that the phone's ever been! Including the lair!"
"Well, that's enough motivation for me." Leonardo said, kicking a nearby Mouser.
Donatello then knelt down and reached for the remains of a sliced Mouser. He picked something up, examining it. "Wow! A gamma camera!" He exclaimed. "It detects radioisotopes! That must be what he tagged you guys with!"
"Great, how do we get it off?" Raphael demanded.
"You can't," Captain Violet responded. "It wears off gradually." Her eyes widened as she realized something. "But if someone else got sprayed, they'd give off a stronger signal."
"We have to get Stockman's spray," Donatello said. "It controls the Mousers."
"You mean that thing?" Michelangelo asked, pointing to the spray that the man himself was holding.
"I'll handle this, dog-man," Baxter said as he held up his silver bottle. "One spritz, and they're Mouser chowโ"
"Oh, no, you don't!" Eclipse shouted. She threw a ninja star at his silver bottle and once the silver bottle got hit by it, a red spray oozed out, coating Baxter and DogPound.
Immediately, the Mousers that had began to advanced on Eclipse, Boy Danger, Captain Violet, Leonardo, and Raphael paused, turned, and then headed for the mutant dog and Baxter. The Mousers showed no mercy, charging at their creator and the mutant dog. DogPound yelled as he turned and ran while Baxter tripped over the sliced remains of a Mouser before quickly getting up to run. The dog turned, spotting the two phones on the floor as he picked them up, chuckling.
Suddenly, two small knives flew by and hit the phones, sending the two devices flying until it hit the opposite wall and shattered into pieces.
"Hang it up, DogPound!" Donatello called. "Your call just got dropped!"
Another wave of Mousers charged forward, intent on attacking DogPound and Baxter. DogPound turned and ran right after he grabbed Baxter, busting through the wall. The Mousers flooded after them until they were out of sight. The seven teenagers regrouped at the giant, DogPound-sized hole in the wall, staring off where said mutant had vanished.
"Nice job, guys," Boy Danger complimented the purple masked mutant turtle and orange masked mutant turtle.
"Yeah!" Raphael threw his arms around their shoulders. "From here on out... you're the A-Team!"
"That's probably the best we're gonna get out of him." Donatello said plainly, grinning all the same.
Raphael pulled the orange masked mutant turtle into a headlock and began leading him away, giving him a noogie, despite Michelangelo's complaints.

FOR THE FIRST time in a while, the seven of them arrived back at the lair. Each one of them was glad to be back at the lair where they could finally relax after the long night. "I hope you all see that by choosing your battles poorly, you created your own crisis." Splinter said.
"Yeah, there's definitely some irony in there." Donatello admitted with a nod.
"Okay, it got a little out of control," Leonardo agreed. "But we learned our lesson. And, at least we got April's and Kaz's phones back."
"You did?"
Both April and Kaz then entered the room as well after they had finished their first session of training with Splinter while they were gone. Of course, their phones were nothing more than the shattered remains of the two devices.
"Uh... the important thing is, it didn't end up in the wrong hands." Leonardo said quickly.
"Don't worry, guys," Donatello said as he reached behind him and pulled out two extra T-Phones. "You guys can have one of our custom built T-Phones."
April and Kaz gladly took the phones.
"Just don't say 'T-Phone, self-destruct.'" Michelangelo said. The two T-Phones immediately exploded slightly, sizzled, and died, smoke issuing from it. "Or else that happens..." he finishes nervously.
"And this is why we make extra." Briana said, handing them the extra two T-Phones she had.

LATER THAT NIGHT, Henry walked into the dojo and found Splinter mediating. He headed over quietly and sat down in front of him, wondering how he was supposed to ask him this as he stared down at the ground. "I sense there is something troubling you, Henry." Splinter said, opening his eyes to stare at his son figure that sat in front of him.
"I..." Henry said before he sighed. "It's just something that DogPound said that's bothering me."
"What is it?" Splinter asked gently, waiting for him to continue.
Henry remained quiet for a second before he finally decided to said something. "Before me, Leo, Raph, Clips, and Bri jumped down to save Donnie and Mikey, we overheard what DogPound said. He said that Shredder and Jake wanted Bri for something."
Splinter couldn't help but feel his eyes widened slightly at those words, something that Henry took notice of when he saw the mutant rat that became like a second father to him grow nervous.
"Sensei, is... is there something that me and the others should know?" Henry asked curiously, his tone full with concern. What is it that Splinter was hiding from them? And what did it have to do with Briana? "Why is the Shredder and Jake after Bri?"
Splinter frowned slightly before he sighed, knowing that he couldn't hide itโat least, not from Henry, because if his suspicions were right, then Henry would easily be able to tell if he was still hiding the truth due to his senses slowly starting to kick in.
"I think you should know the truth, Henry." Splinter said.
Henry furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. "The truth? About what?"
"About Briana."

JAKE WASN'T ALL that surprise when DogPound came back with disappointing news. If anything, he was expecting for Bradford to come back with disappointing news. Still, he couldn't help but clenched his fists angrily at the thought of his cousin. Briana ruined everything for him the day that his uncle and aunt found out that they were having their first child. He was the one that was supposed to get the throne! But, no, instead of becoming king, his father said that he was going to be his cousin's personal bodyguard since Briana was the firstborn child. Over his dead body was he going to be some bodyguard! He was meant to be a king, not some low-leveled bodyguard!
Then, Queen Twilight Velvet just had to go ahead and get visions of Briana and then, a few days later, his aunt had to go have the same visions as well. It didn't seem fair to him that his cousin, the prophesied last Destroyer and the human vessel to Unagami, was going to get the throne when she was even more of a threat than he ever was. How did nobody else see that? How could they all be so blind? He was so determined to get what he wanted that he'd do anything, even if it meant ridding the world of his cousin or letting his adoptive father, Oroku Saki turn her into his greatest weapon.
Before he resorted to joining the Foot Clan and becoming the Shredder's adoptive son, Jake attempted to get rid of his cousin while his aunt was still pregnant with her. He would've been able to do it if his father hadn't caught him and had him exiled from the kingdom and disowned as his son as his father claimed that he didn't even recognize his son anymore. Furious by this, Jake had disowned his entire family in return and joined the Foot Clan, becoming the Shredder's adoptive son as the two formulated their plan.
But then, their plan was foiled again when his uncle and aunt sent Briana away to Hamato Yoshi on the day that she was born when he had the Shredder and the Foot Clan attacked the kingdom. Jake even went as far as murdering his own mother in front of his disowned family to try to get the whereabouts to where Hamato Yoshi was keeping Briana hidden but when they refused to share the whereabouts and in a fit of anger, Jake murdered his mother by stabbing her in the stomach. After their first plan failed, Jake and the Shredder had sent the Foot Clan to keep attacking the kingdom until the whereabouts to Hamato Yoshi and Briana were given up but eventually, in order to protect the kingdom and their youngest daughter, Diana, King Flash Sentry was captured by the Foot Clan and to keep the Foot Clan or anybody else from attacking the kingdom, Queen Twilight Sparkle cast a spell that sent a powerful, mystical fog that casted away their enemies, kicking them out from the Crystal Empire and covered the entire kingdom, keeping it protected by never letting anyone in or out. And due to getting captured by the Foot Clan, it lead to Flash Sentry getting controlled by Jake, who cast his own spell in order to control his own uncle.
The door to the chamber opened that grabbed his attention and Jake looked to see DogPound coming forward, the man in his large hand struggling. "Owโhey! Let go!" He commanded, whining like a child.
DogPound ignored the man's protest, not stopping until he stood in front of Shredder and Jake, throwing the man on the floor by his feet.
"Here he is, Master Shredder." DogPound said.
Jake looked over at his adoptive father, who nodded at him. Then, Jake stood up and walked over to where Baxter was, staring him down with narrowed eyes. "I should killed you for getting in our way." Jake told the man before turning to his adoptive father. "He's all yours, Father."
Shredder then stood up from his throne and walked over to the man. "Baxter Stockman," he growled lowly. "Your interference has cost us Splinter and all of his disciples." He reached forward and grabbed Baxter by the collar of his sweater. He yelped as Shredder lifted him up into the air and Shredder raised his other hand as the blade shot out from his gauntlet. Baxter turned his face, whimpering. "You should pay with your life!" Shredder growled angrily. "Fortunately for you, I may have use for your skills." He retracted the blade back into his gauntlet and dropped him.
Baxter yelped again as he fell into a heap on the floor. After DogPound took Baxter away, Shredder turned around to face his adoptive son. "Perhaps you should see if Detective Carson is in a talking mood, my son."
"Of course, Father."

LOOKING UP FROM where he sat inside his cell, he watched as the door opened for a second as a small plate of food was slid inside the cell before the cell door closed and he heard it locked. He didn't need to look over to know who it was. "You ready to talk yet, Axel? Or are you still going to make this harder on yourself?" Jake questioned, staring at the man from the other side of the cell.
"It doesn't matter who you send to get me to talk," Axel said stubbornly with a firm expression on his face. "I'm not telling you, Soren, or Shredder anything."
"Not even if it means you'll get to see your son?" Jake questioned. "I'm sure Zane will be glad to know that his father isn't dead."
Axel felt his insides froze from the mention of his son's name. "How do you know his name?"
"Well, according to our new spy, it seems that my cousin and your son are friends, and he's been able to keep an eye on my cousin when she's at her school," Jake said with a smirk. "Did I mention that Tyson also happens to be your son's ex-boyfriend? Though I have to admit, Tyson isn't that happy that he's got some competition now since your son seems to have feelings for my cousin's other friend, Casey Jones. I'd hate for anything to happened to any of them."
Axel frowned, glaring at the eighteen-year-old boy. "Leave my son out of this. Zane has nothing to do with this!"
"He got himself involved when he became friends with my cousin," Jake said firmly. "Don't you get it, Axel? Briana is the reason your son's in possible danger. Just by knowing her and being friends with her, his life will always be at risk. But you could save him, if you just tell me what I want to know."
Axel remained silent, multiple thoughts coursing through his head. As much as he wanted to protect his son and keep him out of this mess, he couldn't sell out what he found out about Brianaโnot when he knew of the plans that Jake, Soren, and Shredder had in stored for her, especially not when Briana didn't ask for any of this to be happening to her. Besides, he didn't know what it was but he had a feeling that she wouldn't let anything happened to his son.
"Nice try, Jake, but," Axel said as he shook his head. "I'm still not talking."
"So, you're really going to risk your son just to protect my cousin? You don't even know her." Jake said.
"Maybe not," Axel said firmly. "But I do know that she's just a kid. She didn't ask for any of this to be happening to her. And I certainly won't tell you where she is now that I know of yours, Soren's, and Shredder's plans for her."
"You know, all you had to do was take the money and walk away," Jake said as he rolled his eyes. "If you won't talk, then we'll just keep looking for that partner of yours. Where is he, Axel? I know he has the file."
Axel didn't said anything as he glared at him. Right before he confronted Jake and Soren when he discovered theirs true intentions, as well as Shredder's actual intentions, for Briana, he had delivered the file he had to his partner, Kurtzman, trusting him with it for safekeeping. Axel hadn't seen him or his family since that day.
Jake glared at him. "Fine, be like that. But just know, I gave you the chance to do the right thing and save your son from my cousin and you refused to take it. What happens next is on your hands, Detective Carson." He said the last two words with a bitterness in his tone.
Right as Jake turned around to leave, he looked over his shoulder for a second with a smirk. "It's a shame that Zane will never get to read those letters you've been reading. Oh, well, looks like he'll always think that you're dead."
And with that, Jake used his magic to do a quick spell on the cell that Axel was trapped inside of to make it look like his cell wasn't really there and that there was really a wall in its place. Then, Axel could hear Jake leaving the dungeon and until he was sure that he was gone, the detective couldn't help but sigh before he reached over and pulled a pile of letters into his hands.
"I'm sorry, Zane." Axel whispered to himself.
And with this mind going back to what Jake told him about his son and Briana being friends, he couldn't help but hope that the feeling he had was right.
'Princess Briana, whatever happens... please protect my son.' Axel thought secretly to himself.
"Surprised yet? Trust me, the surprises are just beginning. And all of this? It's just the beginning of the end."
