Everyone was asleep when all of sudden there was a knock on the door, "Get up! Hurry everybody get up!" Stolas yelled

"Hey what's the matter–" Ezra said but he then lets out a scream in terror, "Aah!"

"Calm down, Ezra! Calm down. It's Violet. She's having a baby!" Stolas yelled

"That ain't what's scaring me. You ain't got no draws on!" Ezra said

Violet was heavily panting while walking down the stairs, "Oh! Oh! Oh!" She then begins to exhale and then groans in pain, "Oh. Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh!" Violet then rips off the staircase holder and throws it to the side.

Octavia then runs out of her room, "Violet, are you okay? Of course you're not alright. You're having a baby. Oh, I think I'm gonna be sick." Octavia said and she walks away

"Octavia, come over here sweetie." Violet said and she brought Octavia over to her side, "Having a baby is very spiritual." She said, holding Octavia's hand, "This is my last baby, and I'm never going to experience this miracle again.

"Oh, here comes another contraction." Violet said

Violet then begins to scream in pain while she was holding Octavia's hand and she screams as well.

"Well, that wasn't so bad." Violet said panting, "Octavia, honey, don't be so dramatic."

"My hand." Octavia said in pain and then she sits in a chair

"Alright. Everything's cool. Let's go. Let's go, mom!" Ezra said as he ran down the stairs, "Everything cool, everything, everything cool."

"Alright, check it out. Um, um, alright.. Ezra, you boil some water. Uh, Octavia,

you go get some blankets. Uh and Loona, you, uh, c-circle the wagons." Stolas said

"Stolas, honey, what are you talking about?" Violet asked

"I wish to god I knew, Vi." Stolas said as he sat down on the couch next to her

"Mom, I think what Stolas is referring to is–" Ezra is cut off when Violet grabs his hand and begins to crush it and then lets go of it

"Oh my god. Oh, the pains are getting closer." Violet said, holding onto her stomach, "Ezra, honey, get up off the floor."

"My hand." Ezra said looking up at Loona

"What is wrong with everybody? Stolas! Put on your damn pants and let's go!" She yelled at him

"Hey. Mom, I wanna go, too." Loona said

"Oh, thank you, sweetheart. You know I could really use somebody to hold my hand." Violet said, she tried to grab onto Loona's hand but she moved it out of the way

Later everyone was sitting together at the dining room table waiting for Stolas and Violet to come back from the hospital.

Each of the kids had one brace on each of their hands after it was crushed by Violet.

"Wonder if mom had the baby yet." Ezra said

"I know." Loona said

"Birth is a miraculous thing. Isn't it?" Octavia asked

"To think I was once inside of a woman's body. I find that hard to believe." Ezra said

"I think we all do, Ezra." Loona said

"Ahem."

"Hi mom." Ezra said and then he turned back around, "Mom!"

"You're still pregnant!" Loona said as everyone rushes over to them

"Gee, you think." Violet said irritated

"Look, I can't do this anymore." Stolas said

"Yeah me too. I mean, getting woken up in the middle of the night by a naked man running around the house." Ezra said

"Look, now, everybody calm down. False alarms happen all the time." Violet said

"But mom, I saw Stolas naked!" Ezra yelled to her

"Shut up, Ezra no one cares." Loona said

"Violet, I want to have this baby already." Stolas said walking over to her

"Oh! And you think I don't? I feel like I ate a Buick." Violet expressed as she sat down on the couch

"That looks like a Winnebago from here." Ezra said

"Vi-Vi, is there anything more I can do for you?" Stolas asked her

"Will you look at her, Stolas?" Ezra said as he got up from his seat and walked over to him, "Haven't you done enough? Leave her alone!"

"I'm fine, Stolas. Thank you." Violet said

"Oh, good. I gotta lay down." Stolas said and walks away from him

Violet then gets a text from her phone, "Uh before you do that Stolas, Charlie wants a meeting at the hotel." She said

"Damn it!" Everyone yelled

Vaggie, Stolas, Violet, Blitzo, Moxxie, Millie, Loona, Ezra, Lucas, Octavia, Niffty, Alastor, Angel Dust, Sir Pentious and Husk all sitting in the hotel's lounge.

"So, like where are your wings?" Niffty asked

"Niffty, I don't have–" Vaggie is interrupted

"Did you ever think maybe she's sensitive about her lack of wings, just like her lack of tits?" Angel asked

Niffty tugs at Vaggie's shirt, "Yeah. Where are your tits?"

"Any other questions?" Vaggie sighed

"I got one. How come every time Charlie talks to Heaven we get in deeper and deeper shit?" Husk asked

"It's not her fault, Husk. Angels are just–" Violet is interrupted

"Liars?" Angel asked

"Dicks?" Lucas said

"Shit bags?" Blitzo said

"...Difficult. But Charlie's trying her best." Vaggie said

"Yeah, well, her best is turning out real well so far." Lucas said

"And where is miss fearless leader anyway? Isn't it about time for another "doomed-to-fail" plan?" Angel asked

"She's upstairs. Coming up with something, I'm sure, in our room. Alone." Vaggie

"Hmm." Alastor vanishes into black smoke.

Charlie in her bed under her covers softly crying. While Razzle and Dazzle comfort her with Tissues. Alastor reappears in her room and approaches her bedside.

"Oh, Charlie, you look an absolute mess." Alastor said

"Ugh, go away, Alastor." Charlie said

Alastor sits down on her bed while Charlie hides again under the covers, "Now, now is that any way to act after picking a fight with all of Heaven and dooming everyone you love?" He asked

Charlie emerges from the covers, "I have enough on my mind without hearing your sadistic idea of a joke, asshole."

Charlie wraps herself under the covers again, only for Alastor to appear laying beside her, "Who's joking?" Alastor said

Charlie scared, jumps and falls off of the bed.

"You have a captive audience downstairs waiting to hear what kind of inspiring performance you have planned next." Alastor said

"Ugh, I can't. How can I face them after failing them all so hard?" Charlie said

Alastor repositions himself on his stomach and begins kicking his legs in the air.

"They came here to be saved and all I gave them was more pain." Charlie begins tearing up, "I'm just as bad as the cruelest Overlord in Hell. And maybe worse."

Charlie stands and paces back and forth, "At least they don't go around giving false hope." She said

"Well, I never expected to see such a miserable display of self-loathing from you." Alastor said

"Oh, fuck you, Alastor." Charlie said

Alastor adjusts himself, now laying on his side.

"All you do is stand there, smiling while you watch us struggle and fail. I don't know how you can enjoy all this suffering so much." Charlie said

Alastor stands up, wraps his fingers on Charlie's shoulder while chuckling, "Just because you see a smile don't think you know what's going on underneath."

Alastor lets go of Charlie; he grabs Charlie's face with his hand and makes her smile, "A smile is a valuable tool, my dear. It inspires your friends, keeps your enemies guessing, and ensures that no matter what comes your way, you're the one in control."

"But I'm not." Charlie starts walking towards her bedroom window, "I'm the farthest thing from in control. The person I trust most has been lying to me for years. Heaven refuses to listen."

Charlie thuds both fists against the window, "Even if they did, I can't prove the hotel works. Adam has an invincible exorcist Army pointed right at my doorstep and there's nothing I can do about any of it!" She said

Alastor starts smiling and sings in a song tune, "I know something you don't know."

"Huh?" Charlie said

Alastor walks over and grabs Charlie's arms, "Those big, scary angels are not quite as indestructible as they seem." Alastor let's go of Charlie and walks away.

"What are you talking about?" Charlie asked confused

"Just that you and your little band of misfits might stand more of a chance than you think." Alastor said

"How? I'll do anything." Charlie begged

"Anything? Then... let's make a deal." Alastor said

"You... You want my soul?" Charlie asked

"Your soul?" Alastor said sinisterly and then brightly, "Heavens, no. All I need from you is one itty-bitty favor. What's a favor between friends?" He asked

"I won't hurt anyone for you." Charlie said

"Who's asking! One favor, at a time of my choosing, where you harm no one. In return, I tell you what I know. Do we have a deal?" Alastor asked

Razzle and Dazzle both growl as Charlie puts her hands down to stop them.

"Deal." Charlie's hand glow's green as she shook hands with Alastor. A loud static sound was heard as green cracks form in the walls.

Downstairs cracks began to form in the ceiling. Everyone looked up at the cracks with wide eyes.

"Shit! Charlie you didn't." Violet said

Vaggie begins heading to her and Charlie's room, "No. No!" Vaggie strains and slams the bedroom door open with her spear in hand

"Right on cue!" Alastor said

"What did you do? Let her go!" Vaggie demanded

Alastor and Charlie finish their handshake.

"Vaggie, Stop!" Charlie said

"What?" Vaggie said and she drops her spear, "No, Charlie, please tell me you didn't–"

"I made a deal with Alastor." Charlie said

"Charlie." Vaggie pleads

"Oh, calm down. She still owns her soul." Alastor said

"He gave me info that can save the hotel, but we're going to need help. The angels can be defeated, and Carmilla is the key." Charlie said

"What? Carmilla Carmine?" Vaggie asked in shock

"She and Violet killed an exorcist in the last extermination. They know how they can be harmed." Charlie said

"But... I-- I didn't even know that was possible." Vaggie said

Charlie turned back towards Vaggie, pushing past her, "If you did, would you have told me?"

"Charlie, I-" Vaggie began, but stopped herself.

Charlie picked up her jacket from the floor, pulling it on. "I need you to go to her, convince her to teach us. If she can, we might have a chance."

"With just the fourteen of us?" Vaggie asked

"No, we're-- ugh, we're going to need numbers too." Charlie said

Alastor reenters the conversation, "And I know just who can help. As long as Charlie can be her normal, charming self."

"What's that you said about smiles?" Charlie asked, a smile pulling at her lips as she looked at Alastor.

"Good girl." Alastor said patting Charlie's head

"Charlie, can we talk about this–" Vaggie said whispering

"We can talk later. I'm bringing Violet with us to where Alastor is taking me but right now, we have a job to do. You with us?" Charlie asked

"Ugh.' Vaggie sighs and she walks down the stairs, only to be met by a confused Angel Dust.

"So-ho, uh...Alastor, Violet, and Charlie just left like they were runnin' away from their responsibilities. Should we be alarmed?

"No. We have a plan, but it includes defending ourselves against the angels."

"Uh- are you fuckin' high?" Blitzo asked

"They can be killed-" Vaggie said

"Yeah! That knife lady, Camaro Carfight, and Violet killed one." Frank said

"Wait, you knew about this?" Loona asked

"Uh, yeah. I told Boss about it months ago." Frank said

Vaggie turns to Sir Pentious, "He what?"

"What? They say insane shit all the time! how was I supposed to know this one was true?" Sir Pentious said trying to defend himself

"Bank accounts are a scam created by the shadow government!" An Egg Boi said

"SEE?" Sir Pentious yelled

Vaggie sighs, "what's important now is that we're going to have a fight on our hands. Look, this hotel is about to become the most dangerous place in hell, and we....I, can't guarantee your safety anymore. I still believe in Charlie's dream. I know this place can work. But none of you signed up for this," Vaggie heads out the door, "I'm gonna go learn how we can fight back, and when I come home....Well I'll understand if none of you are here." With that, Vaggie heads out the door, everyone sighing in worry for what she said.

"Well...This is awkward." Lucas said

"'Kay!" Niffty said

Alastor escorts Charlie and Violet down the streets as he listens to Charlie.

"Three years! THREE YEARS I've been sharing my life with her, and I tell her EVERYTHING! My hopes, my dreams, my insecurities, my embarrassing habits, what fucking DEODORANT I like,"

Alastor adjusted his monocle as they walked through the town, not really listening to the girl's rant.

Violet is listening to her music trying to tune out her sister's rant.

"And she kept something like this from me? Why would she lie for so long? Like what about me? And what about you! Me says, un understanding. Misunderstanding?" Charlie ranted, "Disunderstanding? Wait, where are we?" Charlie asked, not recognising their surroundings.

She pauses for a moment, looking at their current location, "Where are we?"

"Charlie, welcome to Cannibal Town! There's a friend of ours I think you should meet." Violet said

"In Cannibal Town? But it's, it's..." Charlie looks at the surroundings, "surprisingly nice here."

"Isn't it though? and it's all thanks to a very special someone." Alastor opens the door for Charlie and Violet as they enter Rosie's Emporium, where they meet the Cannibal Overlord herself at her desk speaking to a young woman at the front of a long line.

The three walk into the building, the door closing behind them. They notice a woman with black eyes in a red dress talking, surrounded by other cannibals.

"Well, who hasn't thought about eating their first husband? I certainly would have if he didn't taste so bad." The woman laughed, "I tell you what. You bring old tall, dark, and armless to me and I'll straighten them right out, okay sweetie? Now here's my card and-"

The woman gave the other girl a card, but stopped talking as she noticed Alastor and Violet. Her hands moved to her cheeks as she smiled.

"Oh, my stars? Do my eyes deceive me?" She smiled.

"Alastor? Violet! Alastor!" The woman walked over, now standing in front of the three demons, "Where have you been? These halls really lost some of their sparkle without you guy's lively presence and-"

"Oh my gosh, Violet, it's been so long since I've seen you! Why didn't you tell me that you were having a baby?"

"Well it's been—" Violet's sentence is interrupted when the woman hugged her and Alastor, but stopped when she noticed the girl that had been standing next to him.

"Oh. Who's this you brought with you? Come now, Alastor, she's both much too young for you. Oh, I'm just kidding, I know you're an ace in the hole." The woman teased.

"A what now?" Alastor asked not understand what she said

"But where are your manners, mister? Introduce us, why don't you?" Rosie said

"Ah, yes. Charlie, this is Rosie." Alastor wrapped an arm around Charlie as Rosie curtsied, "The most darling, delightful, and dangerous Overlord this side of the pentagram."

"Oh! Always such a charmer." Rosie said

"And Rosie, it's my pleasure to introduce you to my little sister, princess Charlie Morningstar. The youngest daughter of Lucifer and youngest heir to the throne of Hell!" Violet said

"How do you do?" Charlie waves nervously

"Well, well, isn't this a regal surprise? Come in, come in." Rosie took the girl by the shoulder, pushing her further into the shop, "Can I offer you something to eat? I'm sure I have a leg around here or something."

Rosie began to look around, trying to find something to offer the youngest princess who stood behind her.

"Oh, what am I thinking? Small thing like you, you're probably watching your figure." Rosie smiled, poking the girl's chest, "How about some nice pinky fingers instead?" She got out a box of cut off pinkie fingers in little pink wrappers.

"Um...No. no, thank you, though." Charlie said

Rosie puts the box away, "Oh look at you!" She pats her head, "So polite, just like your sister! Alastor, you could learn a thing o' two."

Rosie then proceeded to take Charlie to a table with two chairs. she sits her down on one of them and she sits on the one across from her. Alastor and Violet walk up to Rosie, "Well, sit down. Sit down. Tell Auntie Rosie what she can do for you. Ya know, Alastor. I got a premo-connect on a guy with about eight blocks of territory and not enough goons to run it. Prime pickin's for a deal to be made, my friend." She said

"Appreciate the offer but we're here on business of another kind." Alastor said as he walked up to Charlie

"Well don't keep me in suspense! I'm a very busy woman." Rosie said as she drinks a cup of tea

"Well, as you know," Charlie's face morphed into one of worry, her hands pulling at her cheeks, "The extermination is coming early, it'll be here in a month. And they're coming for my hotel and my friends first. And I-I-I-I-I-"

Violet interrupts, "We need your help. Well, your cannibals help at least to fend off the attack."

"Wow! When you ask a favor, you don't start small, do you, Your Highness?" Rosie smiled, making Charlie sink in her seat, "Oh, now, don't fret. I didn't say I wouldn't help, but I assume there's more to this plan than a bunch of unarmed cannibals."

"Oh, your people will be far from helpless when we're done with them. And by the end, they will be able to eat, their, fill." Alastor said

"Well, in that case, sure! Why not?" Rosie said

"Really?" Charlie asked

"What can I say? I like your moxie girl. And old Alastor and Violet have never done me wrong before." Rosie said

"Oh, thank you. Thank you, thank you!" Charlie smiled as she took Rosie's hand in hers.

Vaggie slammed her fist against the warehouse-like door, calling out to the Overlord inside, "Carmine! Carmine, we need to speak."

Vaggie walks up to the security camera and stares at it, "I know what you and Violet did on extermination day. We can talk about it inside, or I can yell about it out here."

The door clanks open.

"Fuckin' right you open that door." Vaggie said

The door slams shut.

"Hello?" Vaggie yelled

"You have two minutes to convince me not to silence you for good." Carmilla's voice echoed off the walls.

A light shined behind Vaggie, making the fallen angel turn, seeing Carmilla standing above her on the second floor.

"Miss Carmine, I'm here on appointment from the youngest princess to enlist your aid in the defense of hell from the angelic extermination. We know an angel fell at your hands and we need to know how." Vaggie said

"No!" Carmilla yelled

"What do you mean, no? The youngest princess of Hell-"

"Means nothing to me. You have to do better than that. 90 seconds." Carmilla said

"With your knowledge, we wouldn't have to helplessly stand by while-" Vaggie was yet again interrupted.

"Clearly I am not the helpless one here. 80 seconds." Carmilla turned, walking along the second floor.

"Well, then why? Why wouldn't you use what you know to fight?" Vaggie asked

Carmilla dragged her hand along the railing as she walked, "To avoid the very problem you and your little friends are facing right now. I will not invite destruction into my house, on my people."

Vaggie followed along where Carmilla was walking. The overlord's eyes narrowed as she walked, "You think we asked for this? All Charlie has ever done is try to make things better to help her people who, news flash, include your people too."

"And how exactly has that worked out for her? 45 seconds." Carmilla said

"We didn't pick this fight, but it's here now. And they aren't going to stop with us. You didn't see the look on their leader's face. With us out of the way, it's only a matter of time before they come for the rest of you. They won't stop until all of hell is wiped out, so you can help us make a stand here together, or you can stand alone tomorrow. And what do you think your chances will be then?"

"You're out of time." Carmilla said, she jumps down and kicks Vaggie in the face. Vaggie slides on the floor.

"Angels attack quickly, viciously, and without mercy. You'll need to defend better than that." Carmilla said

In Cannibal Town, Rosie's voice spoke into a megaphone, gaining the attention of the town.

Rosie speaks through a megaphone, "Cannibals and Cannibettes, assemble in the square."

Charlie walked along the roads of Cannibal town, Rosie walked closer, her hand placed on Charlie's shoulder, "Now, darling, you know I would do anything, anything for my clients, but I can't exactly command all of Cannibal Town to follow someone else into battle." Rosie explained to the girl, "You know, don't get me wrong, they love carnage and bloodshed, but to get this group into line, you got to win 'em over."

Charlie looked up at the taller demon, listening to her speak as she called out to the cannibal's.

"But how do I-" Charlie moved closer to Rosie, but was cut off.

"With sparkle! Razamatazz, and that oh so appealing moxie of yours." Rosie smiled as she booped Charlie's nose.

"Shouldn't be a problem. It's not like you've ever failed to inspire before." Alastor said

"Yeah, I'll even help you with this, Charlie." Violet volunteered

Charlie let out a small groan before they all walked up onto the square deck.

Rosie placed her hand on the small of Charlie's back as she led her up, "Now, fair warning. This group sticks together. So in order to convince any of them, you'll need to convince all of them. And there's one in particular–"

"Uuuugh, Susan." Violet said

"Susan, who's a bit of an... uh–" Rosie begins

"Ornery old bitch?" Alastor said

"That! She's tough, but win her over and the rest will be easy as pie." Rosie told the princess, "Ready?"

"I guess." Charlie said

Rosie held the megaphone up, smiling, "Everyone, we have a very special, very royal guest this evening! Please, put yoir bloody hand together for Princess Charlie! And Princess Violet!"

Charlie and Violet smiles awkwardly and waves at the crowd.

As soon as Charlie smiled a woman in the crowd began to boo loudly, "Boo! Bring Rosie back!"

"Susan?" Charlie asked

"Susan." Violet, Rosie, and Alastor said

Charlie tapped the microphone, which made it let out a loud sound that made the crowd mumble, cringing back.

"Sorry. Uh, okay," Charlie laughed nervously, "Uh, my name's Charlie, and-"

"Boo!" Susan yelled, interrupting Charlie, "Boo! Get off the stage!"

Charlie ignored the cannibal, continuing to speak, "Well, I run this hotel with my part- well, someone and,"

"You blue blood b!tch!" Susan yelled, "Boo!"

"Wait, let me start over." Charlie said nervously.

"We don't give a shit about some hotel. Leave before I eat those big ass eyes of yours. Boo! Get off. Where's the showmanship? Where's all the finesse? Fucking mediocre!"

Charlie continued to try and speak, but Susan continued to yell over her.

Charlie and Violet finally snapped, flipping off the old lady, "Fuck you! You old bitch!" They yelled

Charlie was seething as the crowd gasped. Rosie quickly ran over, taking the girls by the shoulder.

"Okay! We'll be back after a brief intermission." Rosie told the crowd.

Rosie gently pushed the two girls away, bringing them away from the crowd.

Vaggie is slammed onto a pillar but then starts charging at Carmilla. Carmilla kicks Vaggie onto the floor. Vaggie gets up and starts charging again. But again, Carmilla kicks her onto the floor. Vaggie gets up and just barley points her spear at Carmilla before being kicked onto the floor again.

"Fuck! Ow!" Vaggie yelled

Vaggie gets up, only to be kicked yet again. She strikes at Carmilla twice but she dodges both times and kicks Vaggie again

"Come on, what is this?" Vaggie asked

"You want me to teach you how to beat angels? That's what I'm doing." Carmilla said

"By beating the shit out of me? I'm not used to fighting with long hair." Vaggie said as she charged at Carmilla, the latter took her hairnet down, revealing her full hair at a lower position.

"By showing you the flaws in your own fighting style. Yours and all your sisters'." Charlie said

"Wait... you know I'm an exorcist? How?" Vaggie asked

"You have a giant X over your eye and wield an angelic spear. It's not rocket science." Carmilla stated as she walked towards Vaggie, "Before you found out about me, did you know angels could be harmed?"

"No." Vaggie stated before she gasped, dodging a kick Carmilla sent towards her.

Vaggie attempted to stab her, but Carmilla kicked her away yet again, taking the spear from her, "That shows in how you fight. You leave yourself open with every swing."

Carmilla tossed the spear back towards Vaggie, who picked it up before standing back up, "You fight like someone unafraid of harm, and this is what you'll take advantage of. Angels wield no shields, little armor and fight with reckless abandon. Strike them here, here, and here."

Carmilla then kicks Vaggie in the face 3 times.

"With what?" Vaggie questioned, pushing herself up from the floor, "Some secret weapon of yours?"

"Stupid girl, are you really so dense you don't realize you're holding the answer?" Carmilla asked Vaggie.

"Angelic weapons?" Vaggie asked, looking at her weapon, "It's that simple? How has no one else figured this out?"

"Angelic steel isn't common, and those who have it aren't exactly rushing off to test it against exorcists." Carmilla said

Flashback

Carmilla, and her daughters along with Violet and her son are trying to avoid exorcists. But as they are running, they get caught by 3 of them.

"When my daughters along with Violet's son and the two of us were cornered in that last extermination, I tried to buy time for our kids to flee, and well... You don't become an angelic arms dealer without arming yourself first.

Carmilla and Violet had their arms out, shielding their kids as exterminators landed in front of them. Carmilla looked back at the kids, before they could run.

One exterminator flew up, charging back down towards Carmilla and Violet.

The Overlord jumped, aiming the point of her shoe at the exterminator's neck. Coming down, she sliced the head off the angel.

Vaggie's wings flapped as she landed back on the ground, Carmilla watching her intently.

"Well, look at that. You might just survive this." Carmilla told the fallen angel.

Vaggie's eyes opened as she looked at the Overlord, "We're going to need more weapons."

Rosie pushed a curtain aside, allowing the two princesses to follow her into a room which no one else was in, "Alright, what has you two girlies so out of sorts, Darlin? Ya clearly got more on your mind than angels."

Charlie sighed, turning her head to look at Rosie, "What do you do when someone you love lies to you about who they are?"

"Or what if you love someone but are scared of what's going to happen?" Violet asked

"Romance? My specialty." Rosie smiled as she moved closer to the Princess, "Come on, dearies, details, details!"

"My girlfriend is an exorcist angel, and she never told me." Charlie told Rosie, a frown pulling at her lips.

"Oh shit. Quite a secret. How does that make you feel?" Rosie questioned, her tone softer now.

"Just, angry." Charlie answered, "Because we share everything! Because she always supported me, and my ideas, and, and now I don't know whether or not that was just more of the lies."

Charlie turned, taking a few steps away from Rosie. Charlie let out a gasp at her own words, "Oh, no, that's a horrible thing to think! Do I think that?" Charlie asked, more to herself, "Yes! N-No? Kinda?"

Charlie let out a sob as she sunk down, sitting on the couch.

"You said you love this girl?" Rosie questioned.

"Yes, or well, I," Charlie took a deep breath, "Yes."

Rosie smiled, moving to sit beside Charlie, "Have you ever once doubted that she loves you in return?"

Charlie blinked, shaking her head as she looked up at Rosie.

"Well, then what's the problem?" Rosie asked

"She took part in the very thing we've been working so hard to end." Charlie told the Overlord.

Rosie hummed, "Well, isn't that silly hotel of yours all about redemption?"

"Yes?" Charlie answered

"Perhaps this girl was trying to redeem herself too." Rosie suggested

"She knows better than anyone that I believe in second chances. Why not tell me?" Charlie questioned.

"It can be difficult to admit to things you're not proud of," Rosie told her, "Especially if those things hurt the ones you love. She fucked up, sure. She's flawed, but hey, who down here isn't?"

Rosie smiled as she placed her hand on Charlie's shoulder, causing the girl to smile up at her.

"If there's anything I've learned, it's that words are cheap, but actions, they speak the truth." Rosie told Charlie, "So, what have her actions said?"

"That she believes in me and what we're doing. Right now she's off learning how to protect everything we've worked for." Charlie told Rosie, "And I can't even pitch my hotel right."

"Well, how do you normally explain your hotel?" Rosie asked.

Charlie did jazz hands, "By singing. But that never works."

"It will work here. Trust me." Rosie smirks and then she turns to Violet, "Now what about you sweetheart?"

Violet sighs, "I love Stolas very much, and he loves me, he can't wait for the twins to come. I love him, but ever since Crimson, I've been nothing but scared." She then stands up and begins to walk to the mirror, "He ruined my life, I want closure for our child we have together, but I'm just scared to talk to him."

Violet puts her hand on her stomach, "I've never told anyone this, not even you Charlie, but when I was nine months pregnant with Ezra, he slashed my stomach."

Rosie and Charlie cover their mouths in shock.

"When I told Crimson I wanted out of the relationship, he slashed my stomach and Ezra almost didn't make it. I escaped and made it to the hospital just in time but ever since then I've been protective of him." Violet said and then she sits back down next to Rosie

"No one has ever seen me vulnerable before, and I want everything to go back to normal. I-I'm just scared and I don't want to be, but he made me this way." Violet said as tears start coming out of her eyes

"Vi, why haven't you told me this?" Charlie asked

"It's not like I had anywhere to go back to. Dad kicked me out when I was fifteen, after I told him I was dating Blitzo and you were just too little. Carmilla found me after I had nothing to my name and she took me in and Blitzo was the only one there and for that I am forever grateful for him." Violet said

Rosie puts her hand on Violet's shoulder as the girl cried, "I can understand why you feel this way. I-it's not easy leaving an abusive relationship, let alone being in one. Remember when you first told me you were dating Stolas?" Rosie asked

"Yes." Violet said

"From what you told me, Stolas tells the truth and let me tell you the way you talk about him. I've never seen you so in love with someone and compassion. I think he wants to be better than Crimson. He respects you, he wants to be there for you, but only if you allow him to." Rosie said

"Trust me and have a talk with him. It will be good for both of you and you to put up this persona. What happened between you and Crimson was in the past. What matters now is that Stolas loves you for who you are and I think you should be proud of that."

"Thank you, Rosie." Violet said as she hugged her, "You're the best."

Rosie, Violet, and Charlie walked through the crowd of cannibals until they were back where Alastor stood. Charlie stood in front of the crowd, her eyes downcast as stood.

Susan: You mean like human flesh?

Violet: Eugh, sort of

The cannibal crowd join in on the song and start dancing as well.

Alastor takes his microphone back and Rosie hands Charlie a parade stick

Charlie: ♫I really hope that I'm ready for this...♫

Charlie and Violet are coming from the left with the army of cannibals while Vaggie is coming from the right with multiple crates of weapons.

Charlie and Vaggie stopped when they were face to face with each other.

Both smiled as they looked at each other, "Looks like you had a busy day." Vaggie noted as she saw the group of cannibals.

"You too." Charlie said, noticing the boxes of weapons.

"Violet, Charlie, I–" Vaggie begun, but Charlie cut her off.

"Hold that thought." Charlie stopped her, pulling out a shrunken head from her pocket, "I got you a souvenir from Cannibal Town."

Vaggie moved forward, pulling Charlie into a hug, "Oh, Charlie."

Violet smiled, her eyes lighting up as she watched the girls.

"The wings are new. They look nice." Charlie nodded, "Come on, let's go home."

Violet walked a few paces behind the couple as they walked towards the hotel. Vaggie's wings folding before disappearing.

Once they pushed open the door, the three girls noticed Husk, Angel, and Pentious, boarding up the hotel.

"Let's put some effort into these fortifications!" Pentious instructed his eggs.

"You have one more time to pull my tail again!" Loona threatened the Egg Boi

The Egg Boi backs away from fear.

"Yeah, fortify that." Angel instructed.

"Well, look who decided to show up." Blitzo said

"Yeah, we thought we were fightin' by ourselves." Angel said as he put an arm on Blitzo's shoulder.

Blitzo looks up at Angel and blushes.

Charlie had tears brimming in her eyes as she smiled. Violet crossed her arms over her chest, smiling as she looked up at them.

"You're... you're still here?" Vaggie asked in shock

Pentious looked taken aback by Vaggie's question, "What? Do you think we're a bunch of pusssssies?"

"I just got used to you guys." Husk said with a scoff, "I ain't finding no new drinking buddies."

Niffty popped up, standing on Angel's head, "I've named all the stains on the carpet." Niffty giggled before moving in front of a dark stain, "That one's Fred."

Niffty yanks on Fizzarolli's tail, he moves away and then looks at Violet and says, "Okay keep her far away from me." He said

Charlie smiled as she took a hold of Vaggie's hands, "Well, looks like we have a lot of work to do."

Violet walks up to Stolas and says, "Hey can we talk?" She asked

"Yes, we can." Stolas said and the two walk away from the crowd

"I just wanted to apologize to you for being so distant lately. I was just so scared of being in another abusive relationship, that I'm losing the person I love in the process. I love you very much and I consider Octavia as my own daughter." Violet said

"It's okay luv, I can understand why you feel this way. I'm sorry I haven't been there to comfort you enough." Stolas said

"It's okay." Violet said and then the two leaned into each other and kissed

As they kissed Violet groaned in pain, Stolas looked up at her in worry, "What's wrong?"

"My water just broke." Violet said
