hey! this is basically my first real cohesive work on here, and it's one that, for now at least, i feel pretty committed to. as you might have read in the description, this is a rewrite of a story i wrote in elementary school, and i feel like i should credit shiinythiings, since i was writing it originally with them, as well as two others slhsljdkg. of course now, i am writing this alone. before we start i'm just going to disclaim a couple of things.

I - i have no idea how often i will update this, and i will likely upload multiple chapters before establishing a set schedule, and i have a busy life so i may not ever have a schedule, though i will try to update it semi-frequently.

II - there may be some triggering things in certain chapters, such as the prologue, and i will provide trigger/content warnings as needed at the beginning of the chapter. there will be some general trigger warnings for most/all of the story, which i will list at the end of this chapter.

III - there will be swearing. if you don't like swearing don't read this story or don't get mad at me in the comments.
