Peter-Jealous

Note:I was sick that's why I didn't get to update last week

Summary:Where Peter and Y/n are jealous of the wrong reasons.

Third Person's P.O.V.:

Y/n hates being jealous,she thinks that its an ugly emotion that she don't really appreciate and she's lucky that the relationship she have with Peter isn't the jealous kind,they're usually the sweet couple that makes everyone wanna throw themselves off a bridge because of how much the two seem to love eachother,but gosh Y/n just can't help but be jealous when for the fifth time this week she walks in the school towards Peter's locker,only to see him talking to Gwen,they seem to be whispering but Gwen stops once she saw Y/n making Peter look up to see Y/n,a smile then appeared at their faces as Y/n looks at Peter with confused eyes and Peter steps forward in attempt to hug Y/n as a greeting but Gwen seems to beat Peter out of it since she literally threw herself to Y/n,wrapping her arms around Y/n who stumbles back a bit.

"Hi Y/n!,I would stay to chat but I will be late to my next class so I need to go bye!"Gwen pulls back giving Y/n a kiss on the cheek before she looks at Peter and gave him a wink as Y/n smiled sheepishly at Gwen who started to walk away.

"I don't like her"Peter says glaring at the back of Gwen's head before he rolls his eyes and closed his locker.

"Well for someone who don't like her,you two do talk alot"Y/n mumbles before walking away not even waiting for Peter who frustratedly grumbles before following his girlfriend to her locker.She doesn't know but something snapped in her head and now she wants to speak up her mind and she can't stop her mouth.

"So what are you two talking about huh?"Y/n asked grabbing the books she needed for Chemistry class.

"N-nothing important"Peter stuttered as he shruggs and tries to avoids eye contact and he's thankful that his girlfriend didn't have a super hearing cause she for sure will hear his thumping heart if she does.He honestly doesn't wanna lie,he just doesn't have the confidence to tell her on what's happening.

"The serious whispering that stopped when I arrive and the wink seems important to me--its been like this the whole week Pete"Y/n hissed slamming her locker shut harder than she intended making Peter and her wince as she then adjusted her backpack strap on her shoulder before crossing her arms as she lean on her locker as she sighed and Peter was about to speak up when MJ arrives since she have first period with Y/n.

"I'll see you at lunch Peter"Y/n mumbles as she walks away with MJ who MJ glances back at Peter with raised eyebrow but Peter just shrugged as MJ then falls beside Y/n,she's weirded out on how Y/n left without giving Peter a kiss on the cheek which makes her gag but that means something is wrong so awkwardly not knowing what to do MJ walks beside Y/n towards Chemistry class.

"You okay?"MJ asked as they entered the classroom,not really know how to deal with this kind of things.

"Yeah,thanks for asking"Y/n smiled weakly as she sat down.

Y/n was distracted the whole class,to the point her teacher Ms.Edna glanced at her with worry in her eyes since Y/n always participate at her class.Gwen transfered about 2 months ago,at the first month and three weeks Gwen and Y/n hit it off,they became friends since the teachers assigned Y/n to show Gwen around and they became so close even MJ feel jealous,which she would never admit by the way--well everything was great until a week ago,where Y/n saw Gwen and Peter talking on his locker,at first she thought maybe they're talking about school work since they have Calculus together but its been like it for the whole week and as far as she knows,Calculus is easy peasy to Peter,besides Peter being busy isn't a new thing to Y/n,she was used to Peter being busy about his Stark Internship,yet this is something new to her--Peter tells her everything...right?

Y/n hates this,she knows Peter would never do anything to intentionally hurt her but not knowing anything just really makes her feel uncomfortable and her mind isn't really great when left alone with unanswered questions to the point Y/n was so out of it the whole class and she felt like she was floating through time and the next thing she knows she was walking up to her locker and took the materials she needed for her next class which have Gwen in it by the way.

"Y/n seriously what the hell is wrong,you were so out of it this whole morning"MJ says as she slams Y/n's locker for her and Y/n sighs as MJ crosses her arms waiting for Y/n to explain and Y/n did broke the silence as they walk to their next class,she then explains everything to MJ.

"I knew she was up to no good"MJ mumbles as Y/n shook her head as she waved at Ned and MJ saw this as an imaginary lightbulb went off above her head and she's never been thankful that the only class Y/n have with Peter today is Gym Class--she's not a stalker,just very observant.

"We're gonna ask Ned"MJ says as she pulls Y/n with her,sitting at the table right infront of Ned as Y/n then settles right beside Ned who suddenly felt nervous on the vibe they're giving him.

"Hi Y/n,MJ"Ned smiled nervously at the two.

"Is there something Peter's hiding from Y/n?"MJ asks seriously but Ned shook his head way too fast,of course he knows what's up,he's Peter's bestfriend for focks sake.

"Of course not,w-why would he hide something from y-you"Ned says looking at Y/n who nodded and though her face was neutral,Ned don't need to be a mind reader to know that disappointment and sadness emit from her,as Gwen then enters the class so Y/n stands up and sat beside MJ as Gwen sat beside Ned and the teacher came before Gwen could even speak a word to Y/n which she is greatful for,she's not really in the mood to talk to anyone.

But her luck eventually runs out as while the teacher isn't looking,Gwen leans on their table towards Y/n who sat right infront of her.

"You okay bae?,you're unusually quiet today"Gwen whispered as Y/n nodded muttering a yes as Gwen then nodded sitting back on her chair as MJ then consoles her friend by giving her forearm a soft squeeze before looking back to see Gwen looking at her and MJ then sent Gwen a glare and the other glares back.

A few classes went on and Y/n only talk to MJ lunch isn't anything better--MJ pulls Y/n to sit with Betty where Flash joined them but he kept quiet,he may be a bully but he actually befriends Y/n since she actually tolerates him,speaking of Y/n,she refuse to speak to anyone since her mind is now plague with anxiety and you could say Peter have it worst as MJ is glaring at him across the table where they're all sitting and she refuse to let him talk to Y/n.

"Why don't you just tell her yourself so Gwen won't have anything against you"Ned says hating that Y/n and MJ isn't in their table--hell even their classmates noticed and felt weirded out and worried that their favorite couple is falling apart.

"No way!--but what if Gwen is right?,that Y/n is better off without me?,but I don't wanna break up with her"Peter says panicking inside.

"Well she will break up with you if you keep this up"Ned says actually pissed at his bestfriend but he can't be angry at him for real making Peter sigh as he looks up to see Y/n who stands up and walks out of the cafeteria making Peter panic as he then stands up and follows Y/n outside and calls out for her.

"Y/n wait--can we talk?"Peter asked standing infront of Y/n,the hallway is deserted yet they can still hear the loudness of students inside the cafeteria.

"Its fine if you don't wanna talk about it Peter"Y/n mumbles

"No,I was just nervous but how about after school I will tell you everything"Peter says taking Y/n's hands on his,he wonders if what he's doing is really worth it,I mean its either tell her everything or lose her right?,but what if she leaves him if he tells her the truth?

"Really?"Y/n asked as a smile appears on her face and Peter nodded

Gym class is unbearable,First of all MJ was excused because she have a meeting with Sir.Harrington for Decathalon stuffs and second of all she was paired with Gwen to do activities and when MJ did get back,she was paired with Betty and Y/n can't switch partners because it would make too obvious that she's avoiding Gwen but all Y/n wanted was for the class to end then school would end and she would get to talk to Peter and he could tell her what's up and lastly,Peter and Ned were a few feet away and it looks like they're debating about something.she realizes

"Is the break up that bad?"Gwen asked as Y/n stopped from doing sit up and looks at Gwen with wide eyes.

"W-what?"Y/n muttered as her blood went cold,does Gwen know something?,is Peter gonna break up with her?,is that why he wanted to talk to her after school.

"Is he gonna break up with me?,is that why he wanted to talk to me?"Y/n asked sitting up straight as Gwen looks at Peter and Ned whose doing sit ups of their own minding their own business and they haven't even noticed Y/n panicking,losing her shit--after seven months of being together is Peter really gonna break up with her?

"Look Y/n I'm not really that kind of girl,but I don't think Peter's right for you,I mean I'm here for you besides don't you get worried that him being Spider-man will put you in danger?"Gwen asked as Y/n's widened more if that's even possible--Peter's spider-man?

"WHAT?"Y/n burst out and it was loud making her catch everyone's attention as they are now curious what's the commotion about,especially Peter,Ned and MJ whose now with worry in their eyes and nervousness inside wondering what Gwen could have told Y/n

"Oh--you don't know he's Spider-man?"Gwen whispered and Y/n shook her head as she stands up stepping back from Gwen as she then looks at Peter across the gym and suddenly it hit her,it all makes sense now,his Stark Internship is the spider-man duty is it?--but he always talk to Ned about it and MJ was so observant she was sure the two must have known.

Its like a haywire on Y/n's mind,and she felt so suffocated she ran out of the door and Gwen was about to run off towards her but MJ stops her,glaring right at Gwen.

"What did you tell her!?"Peter asks panicking as he then looks at MJ who nodded and immediately he runs off the door to follow Y/n once again and he was fast enough to catch up with her,she was holding her clothes,not bothering to change from her gym clothes.

"Y/n--Y/n!"Peter calls out to her and she was getting deja vu as she then turns around and faces Peter.

"You're spider-man?"Was the first thing she said and they were lucky the hallways are empy because everyone have their own classes,but that just made Peter more nervous as he feels like his heart is trying to get off his chest.

"Yes,I'm sorry I didn't tell you--"Peter starts but the gym doors flung open again revealing Ned,MJ and Gwen there.

"Does Ned and MJ know?"Y/n asked looking at her two friends who nows looks down knowing what the answer is.

"I get it you don't trust me,thank you for letting me know"Y/n nodded as she started walking again but Ned step infront of her to stop her from walking any further.

"Peter trust you!"Ned says pointing at Peter who nodded as Y/n glances at him.

"Apparently not!,everyone knows except me!—hell even Gwen knows before I do and the last thing I remember I'm the girlfriend"Y/n says feeling betrayed.

"I found out in accident"Ned says

"I found out because Peter is stupid and dumb"MJ added

"And you?"Y/n asked MJ

"I found out because I heard Ned and Peter talking about that time Peter took down Liz's dad when they thought they were being quiet"Gwen says proudly

"You took Liz's dad to jail?"Y/n asked now looking at Peter once again.

"Okay look there's alot that I need to catch you up on and I'm sorry that I didn't tell you,I was just worried about your safety"Peter explains

"Hmm—and how about you Gwen why did you tell me?"Y/n asks knowing she must have a secret agenda.

"I like you okay!?"Gwen says as everyone looks at her with wide eyes except Peter who knows cause Gwen has been pressuring him about it.

"And I just hate how being with Parker will put you in danger"Gwen explains

"So you told me his secret thinking that this would make me break up with Peter?"Y/n asks and Gwen nodded crossing her arms as she looks down,her blonde hair covering her face as she now realizes how stupid her idea was.

"Wait you're not gonna break up with me?"Peter asked as Y/n looks at him and scoffed

"Of course not!,but gosh this is too much for me—I need to go,please don't follow me"Y/n says as she walks away and they let her knowing she just needs times.

"Oh my gosh you like Y/n—"Ned says finally cutting off the silence they were left with.

"And I thought you were trying to steal Peter from her"MJ added

"Ewww"Gwen says looking up

The next day was very stressful for the group.Y/n wasn't on her morning classes,Gwen was very chill and there are alot of rumors going on saying that Peter and Y/n broke up,some says that Gwen broke them up so she could get with Y/n etc etc.

"No no—I'm pretty sure Gwen likes Peter,I mean she's straight right?"Flash says as he bickers with Betty.

"No way,Gwen screams Bi energy and I'm pretty sure her calling Y/n bae means she literally wants Y/n"Betty reasoned

But their conversation was stopped and they were shock when the cafeteria doors open revealing her and she went straight to their original lunch table.Peter had his back facing Y/n and he never look beside him faster as Y/n sat beside him.

"Y-Y/n!,you're here!Look I'm really sorry and I never wished to lie to you,but I just really don't want to put you in danger"Peter explains but Y/n shushes him with a hug and Peter felt relieved as he then wraps his arms around her and enjoyed the warmth she gives.He was too worried about the secret that he didn't notice he hasn't spent enough time with Y/n.

"Its okay Pete,I understand.I was just really overwhelmed"Y/n says pulling back as she then felt another person sit beside her making her turn to that person.

"Hey bae,glad to see that you're okay"Gwen says as Peter felt tense

"She's not interested Stacy"Peter says calling Gwen by her last name making her roll her eyes.

"Yeah,its not like I'm here to make her dump you,which I can—but anyway you won't stop me from expressing my feelings for a lovely lady"Gwen says before pulling out a flower that she lends to Y/n making her blush.

"Oh thanks Gwen"Y/n smiles as Peter rolls his eyes.

"No prob bae but I need to go so bye"Gwen smiles kissing Y/n on the cheek like she usually do but now Peter knows its because she likes his girlfriend.

Meanwhile on the table across them Flash lends Betty 10bucks as he then sighs shaking his head.
