S I X T Y - O N E
"Am I in any trouble?" Asked Taehyung as he followed the principle, feeling his heart pound in his chest.
"Did you do anything wrong?" Mr. Choi inquired, sparing a look back at the teen.
"Not that I'm aware of, maybe missing a few days but that's all I can think of that I did that was wrong." He replied, feeling his phone going on a thousand times.
"Well good, you're not in any trouble." The principal answered, going to his door and opening it up. The blond-haired boy walked on inside. "I just want you to show our new student around. Taehyung, this is-"
"Lee-hyun?" Taehyung voiced, his eyes widened. The boy with the brunet hair turned his head, standing up. "Taehyung?"
The aforementioned ran over and hugged the taller brunet, squeezing his arms around him. "Oh god! It's been forever since I saw you!" Grinned the younger. "Look at you! You're so freaking handsome!" Gushed the blondy.
Leehyun chuckled and hugged him back. "It has been awhile, hasn't it? And I see your digging blond-hair. Your smile hasn't changed a bit!" He commented and pulled away. "This dope wanted someone to show me around even though I've been here before."
"Watch it, Mr. Kang, regardless if you appreciate my rules and orders, I'm your principal. Let's not get expelled on your first day, yeah?" Mr. Choi rolled his eyes and went to sit at his desk. "As for you, Mr. Kim, you'll have excused absences for the rest of the day. Please be considerate." He commented.
Taehyung nodded eagerly, grabbing Leehyun's hand and pulling him out of the office. "Where to first? Some classes have been moved around since you've been here so!"
"Really?" Leehyun hummed. "How much has it changed in the past five years?" He inquired, holding Taehyung's hand.
"Enough for you to forget!" Taehyung said, a wide smile across his face. "Ugh! Five years! I can't believe we didn't keep in touch more, I missed you so much!"
"Yeah, even considering you forgot me for the past few years?"
"Heck yeah!"
"Sure, Tae, surrree. I don't care about the school anyways, what happened to you? You look like you grew an inch, maybe not." Leehyun teased, ruffling his young friend's hair.
Taehyung rolled his eyes. "Whatever, I'll have you know I've grown three inches!" He giggled. "Not much has happened since you left, also. I had a few relationships but nothing I would brag about." He shrugged.
"A few?" Leehyun repeated. "Oh, so you're a player now? I see, I see, little baby Tae is all grown up!" He declared.
"No! I'm not! Never will be a player, just two relationships. I'm in one now which would be the second. I have two boyfriends!" Taehyung said.
"And you're not a player?"
"They know I'm dating them both, they're twins." He explained a bit.
"Wait, incest?"
"No, they don't date each other, silly." Taehyung shook his head. "Since you left, I made a few friends. I actually have more friends now than I did then." He uttered, shrugging.
"What type of friends? Tell me, I want to hear all about it." Leehyun smiled, walking with Taehyung down the hallways.
"Well, there's Jimin and Hoseok who are my best friends! I met Jimin about three years ago! Hoseok came later on. Then I found Jeongguk and Jungkook who are the twins I date, Jeongguk was friends with Yoongi so now I'm friends with him, and then there's Namjoon and Seokjin." Taehyung briefly explained. "I'm the second youngest. The twins are younger than me though."
"Wouldn't that make you the third youngest?" Asked Leehyun.
"I guess," shrugged Taehyung. "After meeting the Jeon Twins, it was basically another friend after the other. And now you're here again! Now I have you!" He said, clutching onto his arm as he giggled, wearing a bright smile.
Meanwhile, with the boys and Jimin and Hoseok, they all blowing up Taehyung's phone nonstop, messaging and calling to try and get an answer to no avail.
Jimin and Jungkook stayed together, having more classes together and able to travel together. "I don't understand, what did Taehyung do? Of all things, what did TAEHYUNG do?" Asked Jungkook.
"Probably nothing. It could be to congratulate him on his good behavior. He's the last surviving few in this school." Jimin replied, feeling his arm being hit, looking at Jungkook and giving him a scowl. "I'm just saying!"
Jungkook rolled his eyes. "Whatever, I think it's for his off behavior." He said. "With him missing school a lot more than he has before." He added on.
"I doubt it. This school doesn't care about you and your absences unless it's getting to the point where you might need to repeat the grade. Taehyung was out of school for seven days in a row, he came back one day and then stayed home for six more days."
"Why?"
"Minji." Jimin mumbled.
"Oh . . ." Jungkook looked away. He gasped once he saw Taehyung, about to sprint down until he saw his boyfriend smiling and laughing with another kid, hanging onto him. "Who's that?" He asked as he furrowed his brows.
"I . . . Don't know who that is." Jimin said. "I never met that kid. Taehyung looks to know him really well though." He replied. "Old friend, perhaps?"
"That looks more than an old friend." Jungkook spat. He was ready to walk over and give his two sense but felt his arm tugged. He looked back at Jimin. "What?"
"I think it's fine. Taehyung is loyal and dedicated." Jimin said, shaking his head.
"Yeah, sure he is." Jungkook huffed. "Why can't I go down there and talk to him?"
"Because you'll say something to him and then Jeongguk will be called and once that happens, there will be a fight and it's too much. Too many fights have happened and I truly don't want to see another break out. Plus, you'll look stupid after you say shit and it turns out they're only friends." Jimin explained. "Let's go to class and you calm down about it."
Jungkook sighed, following Jimin to their next class. He shot his brother a message to inform him that Taehyung was fine and not in any trouble. As much as he wanted to tell Jeongguk what was going on, he didn't because Jimin was right. There could be another fight and Jeongguk could be expelled sooner or later and then they would need to go to different schools and their eomma would blame Taehyung.
Unfortunately for himself, his head spun with outcomes on who was with Taehyung. He never seen the kid before he's been at this school for roughly over two years now. He didn't recognize the face of the boy and didn't understand why Taehyung was so happy to be around him.

Taehyung sighed, sitting outside with Leehyun beside him, both kicking their feet out and chatting. Taehyung briefly explained more about each member, on how Seokjin and Namjoon were dating and basically like parents, how Jimin, Yoongi, and Hoseok had a hate/love relationship and how they were all confused with themselves, and finally how Gguktaekook really came together.
And how Taehyung thought of the wonderful name to refer to them all.
"Man . . . I really, really missed you, Taehyung, like, ugh." Leehyun rested his head back on his shoulders, his head facing up and his eyes closed. The nice soothing breeze washing over them both.
"I missed you too, Lee-hyung, it was a long five years. I like that you went more than your silly bowl cuts." Taehyung giggled. "They were somehow always uneven."
"Tsk, like your bold-framed glasses were any better," Leehyun rolled his eyes.
The two of them heard the final bell go off and watched as kids left the school, all finding their group of friends and leaving with them.
That's when Taehyung hopped off the wall and hummed. "I should go find one of the twins now. I'll see you tomorrow and try to help you remember where to go."
"Weren't we supposed to do that today?" Asked the older before he too got off the wall too, fixing his clothes, dusting them off.
Taehyung hushed him, putting his finger in front of his mouth. "If Mr. Choi doesn't know, we're good!" He cleared and grinned widely. He watched his friend just shake his head and look away.
"Whatever you say, Rebel." Leehyun mocked, pulling Taehyung close and hugging him. "See you tomorrow," he pulled away, ruffling the blond's hair one more time before he grinned, turning on his heels and walking away from Taehyung.
The aforementioned couldn't help his grin, giggling. He turned to go up the steps back into the school but saw Jeongguk and Yoongi standing there, one looking extremely pissed off.
That's up to the readers to guess who, as if it would be a challenge.
