You've got to be kidding me, Tori thinks as she walked into Sikowitz's class and see's the new girl.

Worse of all, Andre was sitting right to her.

Why? Why was he sitting with her? She pursed her lips as Jade and Beck walked past her, too spotting the new girl in the classroom.

Unlike Tori, they walked over seeing that she was on her phone as Andre only sits silently next to her, a smile on his lips.

He seemed content to just be next to her, not needing to talk. And he was, he had questions, wanting to know her more as she was an interesting person.

But he's just content with the fact that his presence doesn't bother her. 

That's cute, Jade thinks as she clears her throat, causing both Ciro and Andre to look up at her.

"I'm Jade and this is my boyfriend, Beck." She tells the girl that just stares at her as she wondered why she's being randomly introduced to unknown people.

Was this a normal thing? So many damn people had told her their names today, it was hard to keep up and she only seems to remember only one of the names.

And it's the name of the male sitting next to her, though faceplant isn't so bad.

Wait a damn minute, she thinks with a frown slowly appearing on her lips as she eyed the male. "You're the guy from this morning?" She asks as Tori, Robbie and Cat walked over, able to hear what she asked.

Beck smiles and nods his head as Andre fights back an eyeroll.

He didn't even know why he wanted to roll his eyes at the male and brushed it off.

"Wait- you have a girlfriend?" Ciro asked the male in disbelief as she sits up in her chair. She was beyond utterly confused. Very much so. "The hell you were flirting with me for?" She then asks and Andre's eyes widen at that along with just a few others that stood near them.

However, Jade didn't seem surprised at all.

It's sad how she already expected it. That she sae it coming from a mile away. Him and his so called flirty personality wasn't news, sadly she was used to it.

Therefore things like this no longer seem to catch her offguard and the more that this happened, the more feelings she lost for Beck.

Which also made it more easy for her to let him go. She felt stupid for staying this long. She needed to work on herself and her insecurities that Beck helped her get.

"That's just his personality," Tori says as she steps closer, causing Ciro to cast an glance at her before she looked back at the couple before her. She didn't see the shock written on Tori's face.

Just a glance?! The girl think as Ciro just eyes Beck before her eyes fell onto Jade. "You're better than me, I would have left his ass." She says and Jade felt as her lips twitched up at that and it soon turns into a grin when she looked at the boyfriend, seeing the surprise written on his face.

Why was he surprised? Not all girls liked a flirty male. Infact, alot didn't unless it's only them that they're flirty with.

Obviously Ciro's never had a boyfriend but the more and more she see boys like Beck and oddly worse, she believes that she's better on her own. She didn't came here to look for love anyway.

Though she did see a few actual good ass boyfriends before, she wished that girls in relationships would know their worth.

"Why?" Beck questions in confusion as Andre shifted closer to Ciro, something that she noticed but didn't speak on, not like she minded. Just because he's not as annoying as others in this school.

That was the only reason.

Not because she found him weirdly cute and found his smile adorable in a way.

A yawn passed Ciro's lips and she covers her mouth, her eyes blinkly tiredly. She had dance just before this class. And that was for two periods. She was sore and a bit sleepy. "Well, if I had a boyfriend, I'd rather him not flirt with every girl that he see's but that's just me, I guess." Ciro says with a shrug.

"Oh- you're the new girl that everyone's talking about?" Robbie blurts out and his group of friends gave him a look causing him to smile awkwardly, gently rubbing the back of his next. "Is it bad?" Ciro asks the male who shook his head instantly at the question.

It was far from bad.

"No, a few had dance with you and said that you were good," he says causing the teen to hum softly.

Not what she expected but she'll take it. "If I was single, you wouldn't date me at all because I'm flirty?" Beck asks the girl suddenly and she glances at Jade whom just seemed bored.

She's going through it, she doesn't seem to even care. Ciro thinks sadly. She does hope that Jade realizes that she deserves better if she hasn't yet.

"No," Ciro replies bluntly to Beck and a frown makes it's way onto Tori's lips at that. "You wouldn't date him because you're insecure?" She asks in disbelief. Her question made Jade tense up as her jaw clenches.

To her, Ciro didn't seem insecure, all she wants is someone that will want just her and not embarrass her.

Like Beck has done over and over, Jade could swear that some of the girls at this school pitied her.

All because of her relatiobship that she choosed to stay in.

"Okay, so it makes me insecure because I want to be respected in a relationship?" Ciro asks with an arched brow. "Well if that's what you call insecure then okay," she adds.

She didn't see how that made her at all insecure but whatever.

"Also, who the rest of you are?" She asks the ones that came behind Jade and Beck as she doesn't know them.

Well, she thinks that she doesn't.

"Hi, I'm Cat!" An bubbly red haired teen introduces herself and Ciro nodded her head. "I'm Tori and this is Robbie and his dummy Rex," the other girl that Ciro has decided she didn't like said.

Robbie pursed his thin lips at Rex being called a dummy but decided to let it go just this one time.

Ciro just nods and relaxes back on her child, manspreading once again. "Were those your brothers that you were with at lunch?" Cat asks the girl who looked at Andre with an arched brow.

He didn't say anything?

That's interesting. Normally people ran off to tell the first person they saw, even their own friends yet Andre hadn't said anything to his.

She wonders why.

"My kids actually," she says which cause confusion almost instantly. The group of teens just stared at her in shock and Tori glances at Andre, only to see that he was not as shocked as they were.

Infact, he didn't seem shocked at all and it made her furrow her brows.

Did he know? Why didn't he say earlier?

"You have..two kids?" Tori questions the girl who looked her way almost boredly. "Yes I have two kids, what about it?" She asks, seeing no problem.

So what she has two kids who were soon teens.

She couldn't wait for their birthday but also she believed they were growing up too fast.

Now she knew how actual good parents felt when seeing their kids grow up right infront of their eyes.

It's hurts in the best way possible, gives mixed feelings but at the end of the day, she's glad to see them grow up. To just be there for all of their milestones.

Tori makes a face at that. "They can't be yours, unless you were very young when you had them," she says and Andre casts a look at the girl alone with a few others. None of them had believed that it's even Tori's business.

Jade nudged the girl who just moves to the the other side. "And that's not even possible," Tori adds.

"Tori," Andre says warningly causing the girl to purse her lips as her annoyance and anger grew.

Why was Andre saying her name as if she was at fault? Why was he taking up for a girl that he didn't even know?

Sikowitz looked between the students as he wondered if he should step in or not, but Ciro looked fine. But was she really?

"Just leave it," Andre added firmly and Ciro glances at the male to see him just looking at his friend blankly. Ciro felt as her heart skipped a beat and furrowed her brows. The fuck was that? She thinks as she makes a face and just shakes her head.

It was nothing. She's just glad that she'll hopefully have another friend that knew how to act and not judge.

Yeah, that's it.

The Vega teen felt her eye twitch. "I just want to know how she has kids that are almost taller than her and that's all." She states. "That's none of your business and you know that," Andre retorts. He didn't ask questions and he knows Ciro more a lot than Tori did.

Jade smirks at that and glances over at a obviously annoyed Tori. She always just wanted to be in anyone's business and it irked her greatly. "Well it's only a simple question," Tori says.

He didn't need to be defending this girl like this. Why did he care?

"Long story short, our bio parents were drug addicts and I was left to take care of them and the twins, I adopted them, after the so called parents were both put away." Ciro stated with a shrug. She did not mind saying the truth, she never did try to hide it anyway.

She just saw no reason to always bring it up.

Everyone went silent as a few students glared at Tori who gulps as she shrunk into herself.

It's not like she knew that.

And they still weren't her kids, just her brothers that she took care of. It was her job to do so anyway.

"So yeah, I'm the mother of two smart 12 year olds," Ciro added proudly. "If that's all, shouldn't y'all start class? I've talked enough today," she finishes as she leans back slightly in her chair before closing her eyes.

Could she even get a nap in this class?

Sikowitz cleared his throat causing some students to look his way, while he held a coconut in one hand. "We should get into the lesson," he says as he glances over at Ciro.

He could have swore that he had saw an article of Ciro and her family some years ago though they didn't use her real name or her families real name neither.

But the story was similar, very much so that he believes that it was. He read how she took care of the house, how she was a mother to not only her brothers but to her parents who knew how to do nothing but sniff white lines.

She cooked, cleaned and do everything. He read of how hard she fought to keep her family together and he saw just how smart she was, even when she was just a child. He hadn't seen a update about the family recently but it seems that are all doing just fine, thanks to Ciro.

As the other found their seats, Tori was seething. She was going to sit by Andre but the male didn't seem to want her to sit near him. He wouldn't move his bag and then placed his feet in the chair.

Honestly Tori couldn't understand why he was mad at all, she just only wanted to know who those twins were her kids.

What was wrong with being curious? It was just a simple question and Ciro had answered it.

If she wasn't annoyed, why were all the others annoyed?

She sighs and plops down onto her seat that was next to Beck whom was sitting with his girlfriend.

But for how much longer will she be his girlfriend?

"Go wash up, dinner is already ready." Ciro tells the twins as she started to set the table.

Both boys nod their heads and went up the stairs, speed walking since they are not to run in the apartment unless it is needed. 

The older teen smiles softly to herself as she took up the food, plating it and goes to grab the drinks from the freezer and sighs when she felt her phone vibrate in the pocket of her sweatpants.

She ignored it and opened the freezer to get the drinks, eyeing the many options that they had. Though she's not sure why she even did that since she choose three random drinks.

Thankfully they drank everything in the house, they just had favorites.

She had some leftover brownies from yesterday which was a surprise but it won't go to waste, that's for sure. Now it's their dessert for tonight.

Ciro then takes her phone from out of her pocket and unlocked it, seeing that she had a message from an unknown number.

"Now who the fuck," she mutters as she opened the message before a soft smile tugs at her lips and she instantly pursed her lips into a thin line. The fuck? I don't have no reason to smile at that text, she thinks with an eyeroll before she texted Andre back.

He wasn't the only one that had asked her for her number but he was the only one that got it.

me: it's cool, i don't mind nor really care, i just don't talk about it much.

faceplant 🌺: well, i'm still sorry about it. it wasn't any of her business and she acted like she had the right to know.

Andre stared at his phone screen, biting on his bottom lip as he awaited a reply. He really disliked the way that Tori had acted towards Ciro, he especially hated the dirty looks that she was casting her way during Sikowitz's class.

He couldn't understand what her damn problem was with Ciro.

It's not the girl did anything to her.

Suddenly a message came through and he sat up instantly.

"Dumb, dumb, dumb boy!" Andre groans out. Why did he send a fucking heart? Is he craz- nevermind. Will she think that he's weird and block him?

It was just a heart but did he know her well enough to even send one? No, he'd just met her today.

Why was he so awkward all of sudden? He was fine for all his life until now. He lets out another groan, wondering if he should throw his phone into the grabage as he doesn't deserve to text people.

His phone suddenly dinged and he was quick to unlock it and his face heats up instantly.

He stared at it for a good moment and grins to himself as he lets out a breath. Does he have a crush already? That's a bit too fast no?

It was just the first day.

The male shook his head as he laid back in his bed, placing a hand over his chest as he hammered against his hand.

"Damnit," he whispers to himself.

He just might have a crush on her even though he can see exactly why.

"Andre! I can't see!" His grandma yelled out and he didn't even flinch as he was used to it. "Open your eyes Grandma!" He yelled back.

Meanwhile Ciro was stuffing her face with pasta as he kids did the same thing as her.

They'll talk about their day in detail in a bit....or in the morning.

Whichever one.
