"Um, what the hell is up with you?" Tori Vega questions her friend jokingly, even if her voice held a hint of bitterness.

The girl and Andre would normally sit together in all of their classes and joke around, only his attention seemed to be somewhere else today.

He sat next to the new girl mostly and though Tori had turned down Andre in the past, it irked her that he was utterly fixated on another girl that wasn't her.

Though he's never been this fixated on her. She even saw him trying to speak to said new girl whom only replied to him a few times or so, her eyes always on the board or teacher.

Tori did get to sit near Andre in some of the classes they had together but she did not get to speak with him as much as she normally would. He was either focused on the class, glancing at the new girl or doddling.

At the moment, the two walking over to the canteen which has been upgraded, just like the rest of the school. They can still sit outside to eat if they wished but wanted to give the inside canteen a try atleast for once.

The old one was always too filled with other kids and it was impossible to find a seat, especially for a group of friends.

Andre furrowed his brows as he looks at Tori, seeming confused by her question. "What do you mean?" He asks her as he looked around the canteen in awe while also subltly looking around for a certain face.

He finally understood why she seems to always take the seat next to the door. So she can be able to leave the classroom as quickly as she could. He had surprisingly gotten him to talk to her, though not too much.

Enough for him to know her name and that she's infact new, also she's the same age as him and is more into singing and dancing that acting but was placed into it anyway. Though it was more of a free period for her since it's a class she didn't want to be in.

Which meant, if she didn't want to do a thing in the class, she didn't. If she does decide that she wanted to join in after a bit, she could though.

Sadly, he doubted she'd actually join as he heard the distaste in her voice for it, acting really just wasn't her thing but he was glad that she'd be in the class even if she wasn't participating in it.

He had given her his name and she said 'faceplant boy?' and he of course nearly threw himself out the window but had nodded. Will she call him by his name or that? He's not sure but he'll answer all two of them.

That was all he got and he wanted to get to know her more. He didn't even know why, she just caught his attention and oh her voice, it was perfect. He couldn't wait to hear her sing.

Ciro didn't seem to be much of a talker to him and that was okay.

Hell, he'll revisit his primary school days and resort to passing notes if he must.

A frown tugged at Tori's lips at his stupid question. Did he not see how he's being? Is he blind now?

"Well, you barely spoke to me all day in our classes and you seemed to be pretty distracted with that new girl," she states and Andre felt his cheeks heat up at her words.

Thank you, melanin. He thinks, glad that no one could ever tell when he's blushing or not.

He also felt a bit bad for not speaking to Tori like he normally did as well as she's his friend and all.

There was a time where he had a crush on her but it was when she first came to this school and she had rejected him like over two or so years ago. He was over it from then honestly. It had hurt but not as much as he expected it too and not as long as well.

The male came to quickly realize that he and her as friends was perfect.

Plus, he was glad she turned him down. Though the relationship probably won't had lasted long.

His eyes soon landed on Ciro who sat at a table alone, her food before her and he can tell that it was homemade as it was not on a tray and in a container as well. His eyes then fell back onto Tori who is just staring at him, awaiting for him to speak. "I'm sorry about that, let's go get our lunch." He tells the girl who pursed her lips but nods her head.

It's not she was jealous, just worried. He didn't know anything about the new girl and she could ruin him.

And his reputation.

She follows behind him before glancing at the new girl with squinted eyes.

Eh, she's not his type anyway. She thinks as the girl dressed like a boy and seemed far from being feminine, especially with the way she sat.

After the two got their lunch, they sat at the table with their friends, Andre's eyes wondering over towards Ciro every few seconds.

"What ya looking at?" Jade questions the male whose head snaps in her direction. "Huh?" He lets out dumbly and the teen eyes him weirdly while Tori huffs lowly. "The new girl," she replies to Jade since Andre wouldn't tell her.

She tried sounding like she was teasing him on his 'new crush' when in reality, she wasn't.

All she felt was annoyance. What was it about the new girl that has him like this? When has Andre Harris been this damn distracted before?

Beck arches a brow at that while Robbie, Jade and Cat all looked at Andre who has his gaze fixated on his tray.

"You mean Ciro?" Beck asks and Andre furrowed his brows as he looked at the male along with the others. "You know her?" He asks and the male shrugs abit at the question. "More like we bumped into each other this morning," he states as his girlfriend eyes him.

Sometimes she wondered why she was still dating him.

He didn't seem to respect her nor their relationship and yet she still stayed and always came back to him. She should of broken up with him years ago when he allowed Tori to kiss him and he kissed her back.

It wasn't as if the male didn't know that he has an insecure girlfriend and truly, the more Jade thought about it, the more she realized that most of her insecurities came from when she started dating him.

Honestly what kind of a damn boyfriend would stay friends with a girl that makes you feel insecure?

She just wanted to be loved and she was not sure that Beck was the right person to love her.

Plus she wasn't blind to see the way that he looked at Tori. How could he have an crush on a girl in their friendgroup and he has a whole ass girlfriend? And it was not just some puppy crush too.

That's what probably hurts the most but she isn't sure.

"I see," Andre mutters with a small nod as he glances over at the girl again with a small frown. "Why don't you invite her to eat with us?" Cat asks, happily at the thought of making a new friend.

Tori's eyes widened at that, that was not a good idead and before she could even say that, Andre was already getting up.

It made her clamp her mouth shut, lips pursed at the fact that he had gotten up so quickly at Cat's suggestion.

She and the others watched as Andre walked over towards Ciro and Tori can not help but feel something off about the girl. Like things were going to change if she joined their group and not at all for the better neither.

It's worrying.

Meawhile Ciro was bopping her head as she sending a message to her kids while listening to music, her earbuds hidden by her hair.

Andre took a deep breath as he gently taps her shoulderw while gulping.

"Back, back I say!" The girl instantly lets out as she yanked her earbuds out of her ears and turns to face Andre who jumps back in surprise. A few glanced over at the table as the dark skinned male place a hand over his hammering heart as he tries to breath normally. "Woah, woah!" He says before he held his hands up in surrender. "I just wanted to ask if you'll eat lunch with me and my friends." He adds nervously.

Ciro eyed the faceplant male, instantly remembering him, thefore her she then relaxed. "Oh, my bad." She says softly to Andre who felt his cheeks heat up.

How can her voice make him flustered? "No." She then says and he blinks at her in surprise and confusion. "No?" He asks and she nodded her head. "No," she adds with a hum.

"I'm having lunch with my kids, they'll be here soon." She contiunes causing his eyes to widen.

Kids? Her's?

"Oh," he mutters with a small nod. He's not going to judge her nor question her as it wasn't his place to do so. "Okay, so another time if that's fine?" He asks and Ciro blinks slightly as she furrowed her brows.

She expected alot of things when she'd mentioned her kids but that wasn't one of them.

Normally she gets looked at weirdly and people just walk away. They don't even try to do the math's after she says their ages neither. Not that she cared, she has one real friend and he's enough.

"Uh, yeah sure." She mutters as it's been years since someone reacted this way to her saying she has two kids.

Andre smiles softly at that and the girl looks away from him, she disliked his cute smile.

But does she really?

The male bit down on his bottom lip and quickly walks away, a soft smile tugging at his lips. He knows nothing of her nor her life, nor of her kids but he hopes to get to know them all.

As he sat back down, everyone eyed him  wanting to know what happened.

"Next time," Andre tells them and Tori wasn't sure how to feel. On one hand, she's glad that Ciro wasn't going to sit with them but on another hand, who was she to refuse sitting with them?

They were the brightest students of this school, anyone would be lucky to get to sit with them. "Why?" Cat asks Andre as she looked over at Ciro along with all the others just in time to see two twin boys walking her way.

The group watched as she perked up at the sight of them, a smile tugging at her lips. The boys took turns kissing her on the cheek before they sat down at the table and took out their lunches.

"That's why," Andre says as he watched the three with a soft smile playing on his lips. "Her brothers?" Tori qauestions and the male pursed his lips before he shrugs his shoulders.

It wasn't his place to say so he wasn't. He doesn't know anything much really so he can't talk about something he knows not a damn thing about.

"She ditched sitting with us to sit with her brothers?" Tori asks causing a few teens at the table to look at her weirdly. "How sweet, I wish my brother would ditch people to hang with me." Cat says as she looked back at the table to see the older teen rubbing one of the twins hair as she shook her head.

Tori pursed her lips at that, feeling bad. She honestly really didn't mean for the question to sound like that.

Like she was complaining.

She wasn't, she was just surprised.

"So you won't participate?" A man that Ciro almost mistook as a homeless man asks her as she sat down in her last class of the day.

She shook her head and places her bag in the seat next to her as she slumps in her chair, manspreading as she pulled her phone from her pocket.

Acting wasn't her thing. She couldn't let some random touch her for a scene nor kiss some random for one neither.

She'd instantly reject it but still.

Sikowitz pouts at the girl as others walk into the classroom. He knew that she is only here to basically just sit there.

He didn't mind but it sucked that she's not interested. But oh well.

Andre walked over towards the girl as soon as he spots her and rests his bag in the seat next to her. "Hey," he says and she glances up from her phone and nods her head. "Hey, faceplant." She says and the male pursed his lips as she smirked at him.

"I'm never going to live that down, am I?" He asks her and she shakes her head at him, causing hin to sigh yet a smile tugs at his lips.

Ciro didn't have a problem with him so she'll be niceish to him. Plus he did not act weird when she told him about her kids. "Is it okay if I sit with you?" He asks her and she nods her head. "Sure."
