The next sunrise was very special to almost everyone in Parakram SAF as now they've decided to not to mourn remembering Monami, instead they'll smile proudly on her sacrifice. 

Ummm...

Karan woke up near 3.30 am and got dressed up in his trainer's uniform and went to the terrace. As he was feeling suffocated in the room as he neither didn't have anyone to talk with nor to express his feelings. On the terrace, he was blankly staring at the sky and was glancing at the decorations he did earlier for Monami, on casual intervals. He sat on the broad railing with two cups of coffee and sipped on to his cup with a sad sigh. 

Karan (looking at the other cup) - Rani Sahiba, aapke jaane ke baad main to ab kabhi-bhi khush nahi ho sakta but I'll make sure to not to make you cry...ever. Abse main aapko yaad karkar kabhi nahi rounga. I promise! 

Tere bin jee na paunga

Sachmuch mar hi jaaunga
Ye tay hai, ye tay hai..

Karan smiled sadly looking at the two coffee cups which were gifted to him by Monami on their first month anniversary as Karan loves coffee.

Flashback~

Monami - Happy one month anniversary, Khadoos Shergill!

Karan - Thank you so much, Rani Sahiba!

Monami - Ye dekho, tumhara gift! Kaisa laga?

Karan - Bahot achha hai, Monami! But iski kya zaroorat thi?

Monami (with a pout) - Aise-kaise zaroorat nahi thi? I know how much you love coffee, to ab hum saath mein inn cups mein coffee piyenge. Aur agar kabhi main nahi hui aur tumhe akele coffee peeni padi to atleast tumhe meri yaad to aayegi.

Hasna rona tujhse hi
Mera hona tujhse hi
Ye tay hai, ye tay hai..

Karan took Monami in his embrace and hid her in his arms.

Karan - What do you mean by 'agar main nahi hui'? Tumhare bina coffee to pee lunga magar vo wali baat nahi aayegi!

As Karan remembered this sweet-sour memory, he unknowingly sheds a lone tear while looking at the greyish blue sky.

Suddenly a 'Beep! Beep!' sound was heard from Karan's watch indicating that it's 5am now and time for the training to start. 

As he reached near the hanger area, he noticed that all the cadets have already started doing the basic warm up exercises under the guidance of Faizi and Sanju. As soon as he enters the drill area, everyone straightens their backs and started doing the exercises more seriously and powerfully. Karan noticed this changed and smiled internally to maintain his decorum.

Faizi - Karan, tu subah-subah kaha chala gaya tha? Jab hum uthhe to tum kamre mein bhi nahi thhe! Kaha thhe abhi tak!?

Karan smiled a little on Faizi's concern and side hugged him making him more tensed.

Karan - Oye meri Rani Sahiba ki sautan! Aise girlfriend's wali harkatein to mat kar. Main bus yuhi terrace par baitha tha. (Intensely) Ghutan mehsoos ho rahi thi, taazi hawa khane gaya tha.

Faizi just smiled and walked towards the cadets but not before patting his shoulder twice. Faizi knew that Karan is trying to behave normal in front of him and what his heart is going through, is not much hidden from Faizi. 

The training was going on full swing, with energy and determination. It was almost 2 hours since the drill started. All of them were covered in their sweat of hardwork but no one uttered a single word, making the trainers quite shocked.

Karan - Aaj tere jhinguro ko kya ho gaya Sanju? Sab ke sab itni hard exercises ke baad bhi kuchh bole nahi?

Sanju - Pata nahi sirji, na jaane inke dimaag ki je kaunsi upaj hogo.

Karan smirked and went between the cadets. He went to Bala and Sid first and doubled the weights of their dumbbells, then asked Chitra to do jumping jacks on much higher speed, he then went to Premji and Sumanji and asked them to do a calm boxing fight with each other and at last, asked Koel to accelerate the speed of her treadmill.

Sanju and Faizi were shocked seeing Karan making things harder for the cadets and what they saw next, was far from their imagination. The cadets were trying their best to do the drill as per Karan's instructions. Their rage and determination were clearly reflected from their eyes. Karan came and stood in between Faizi and Sanju again.

Tu naseebo sa mere haathon pe
Shuru se likha hai..
Mera haq hai tu, aasmano se
Mujhe jo ataa hai..

Faizi - Ye tumne kya kiya, Karan!? Inki drills hard kardi!

Karan - Tabhi to ye behtareen aur jabaaz commandos banenge. Aise ek hi exercise se kuchh thode hi hoga.

Sanju - Lekin aashcharya ki baat to je hogo ki inn jhinguro ne abhi tak 'uff' tak na kari.

Karan - Hmm, ye to hai. Chal, chalke puchhte hain.

Sanju nodded and SaRan went in between the cadets while Faizi shook his head on their similar nature.

Sanju. (loudly) - Suno saare jhingur!

All (in unison) - Ji Sanjana madam!

Sanju - Ek baat hogo jo humare palle na padh raho hai...

Sumanji - Kya baat Sanjana madam?

Sanju - Ye hi ki aaj ye geedadon ka sust morcha khatarnak sher jaisa kahe ke lane lagto hai!?

Sid - Woah, wait a second. What's gee...geed and mochra?

Sanju smiled a little as she saw a glimpse of the old Sid today while Karan just rolled his eyes back and Faizi chuckled.

Koel (whispering to Sid) - Geedad matlab Jackal and vo mochra nahi morcha, matlab group hota hai, dumbo!

Sid just nodded at the newfound information. 

Sanju - Hum ek baar fir puchh raho hain, ka ho gaya aaj tum sabhi ko? Koi naya naatak hogo ka?

Tere kadmon pe, jahan rakhdu mein, kabhi jo kahe tu
Koi shaq ho toh, aazma lena, kisi din mujhe..

Bala (with determination in his eyes) - Nahi Sanju madam, hum sabne thaan liya hai ki hum sab apni training pure man se aur himmat se karenge. Taki doctor madam hum sab pa..par proud feel kare. 

Sumanji - Sumanji ko Monami ki bahot yaad aa rahi hai magar Sumanji abse royegi nahi balki apne-aap ko ek behtareen commando banayegi...

Premji - Taki Monami jaise masoomo ki jaan jane se bacha sake. 

Chitra - #We all miss #Mo and we will #make her #proud!

The trainers were surprised listening to what the cadets just confessed. They couldn't believe that the cadets who were very lazy till yesterday, go so much determined and motivated. Karan had a constant yet small smile placed on his lips and his eyes were glistening with tears which he wasn't allowing to flow. His head raised with pride and gratitude towards Monami. The trainers gave a big round of applause to the cadets and their thinking when Ustadji came running to the trainers.

Karan - Kya hua Ustadji? Aap aise bhage-bhage kyu aaye hain?

Ustadji (huffing) - Sirji, vo aapko,Faizi sirji, Sanjana madam, Siddharth or Koel ko Batra sirji ne apne cabin mein bulaya hai. Jaldi chaliye!

Faizi - Aap chaliye, hum aate hain.

Ustadji went and behind him Karan too went. Faizi and Sanju nodded at Koel and Sid respectively and they also obeyed the orders and went in Batra sir's cabin. 

Inside the cabin, Batra sir was sitting on his chair with a pale face and in front of him the agents and the two cadets were standing since the last ten minutes. But he was not ready to break his silence. 

Karan - Sir, aapne kisliye bulaya tha? Any emergency?

Batra sir - Emergency to nahi hai, Shergill but usse kam bhi nahi. 

Koel - Hum kuchh samjhe nahi sir!

Batra sir stood up and went near the people standing in front of him. He sighed and signed them to sit and all of them sat. Batra sir also sat on his chair and sighed in frustration. He took out a file from his drawer and opened a specific page and kept it in front of Karan, Faizi, Sanju, Koel and Sid.

Faizi, Sanju and Koel had their eyes popped out of the socket while Karan and Sid's eyes were burning with rage. Karan stood up and held the file in his hand while his hands were shivering due to anger.

Karan - Sir, ye Dhanu or Charu ki photo!?

Batra sir went to Karan and caressed his back in order to calm down the anger which rising in him. Everyone's blood was boiling as due to these people they've lost the most precious soul of the academy. Batra sir made all of them sit and somehow calmed Karan as well. He dragged a chair near the five and sat there. 

Batra sir - Team, you all know that this Charu and Dhanu's picture. Right?

Sid (with rage) - Inhe kaise bhool sakte hain, sir! Inki wajeh se hi...

Sid couldn't speak further and Sanju kept a hand on his shoulder to calm him.

Batra sir - Right! Inki wajeh se hi...humne Monami ko kho diya. 

Faizi - Sir, aapne hume iss baat ka ehsaas dilane ke liye to nahi bulaya hoga.

Koel - Exactly, baat kya hai sir?

Batra sir (in a determined tone) - Main chahta hoon ki hum Cadet Dr. Monami Mahajan ki maut ka badla le!

All were quite surprised listening to Batra sir as they too wanted the same but were hesitant to ask.

Batra sir - I know aap sab Monami se kafi attached thhe, infact main bhi tha. She made a special place in our hearts. She was like my own daughter. (Loudly with anger) Ab agar kisi ki beti ki jaan le li jaye, to koi baap chup to nahi baithega. I want my team to be ready for this mission! Ready?

All except Karan stood up in attention position and were about to agree to Batra sir's idea when Batra sir signaled them to stay quiet as he saw Karan still on his seat and blankly staring at Dhanu and Charu's picture with no expressions on his face.

Batra sir -  Shergill, aren't you ready!

Karan stood up immediately and stood in attention position. His eyes went dark while his face was stern, all were somewhere sure about Karan's decision.

Karan (in a stern tone) - I was born ready sir! Aap bus order dijiye ki kab khatam karna hai inn logo ko.

Batra sir - I'm proud of you team! Shergill, you'll be leading this mission and Faizi, Sanju, Sid and Koel will be your team members. From the academy, Banta will handle all the technical stuff. Planning...

Before Batra sir could complete Karan started blabbering.

Karan - Yes sir, I have the plan. Hum unke hide out par jakar unhe...

Batra sir (interrupting Karan) - Shergill, calm down! Hum itni aasani se unpar dhava nahi bol sakte. Hume bhi unke thikane ka koi ata-pata nahi hai.

Koel - To hum unpar attack kaise karenge, sir?

Sanju - Koel, hume ja par humla bolne ka laane ek full proof plan chahiye hogo. Kyuki je terrorist organization bahot hi shaatir hogo. Lekin je to humao bhi savaal hogo ki ja ke thikane ka pata kaise chale go!?

Batra sir (while looking at the door) - Come inside!

Ye tay hai, ye tay hai..

Someone entered Batra sir's cabin making everyone shocked. Karan's eyes turned dark as he couldn't see that person alive and roaming freely. Karan's expressions were noticed by everyone and as Karan marched towards that person, Sid, Faizi and Batra sir held him and prevented the person from losing his life. But still Karan's rage and anger was intact!
