Hank noticed Sophia's shocked expression, and squeezed her hand tightly, as they were sitting right next to each other.
Her expression didn't change one bit, and it made Hank worry more.
What was happening ?

"Sophia. Sophia, are you okay ?"
Ashley asked, concerned.
"N-No.."
She muttered, still shocked.
What was wrong with Melissa ?
She became more confused as Melissa stared more into her soul, hatred filling her eyes.

What the heck ?

"Sophia, what's wrong ?"
Hank asked, worry getting the best of him.
"Nothing.."
Nick gave his sister a confused look, and glanced back at Melissa, still not knowing who she was.

"What's wrong with her..?"
Sophia asked. Poor Hank thought she was just paranoid, so he tried to calm her down, not knowing what she meant.
"Sophia, please tell me what wrong."

he asked softly.
She finally turned to him, her expression harsh.
"I told you nothing is wrong."
He was taken aback by her sudden, unexpected remark.
"Oh..okay."

Sophia watched as Melissa smiled sweetly to Miss Adolf, and headed towards her seat.
"What is she doing here..?"
Sophia mumbled, confused.

Hank was even more confused, but quickly decided to let it go, since he didn't want to upset her.
"Alright, class. Open your books on chapter 15."
Miss Adolf said after she made sure Melissa was in her seat.

...

"Sophia, what is wrong? You've been like that since this morning."
Hank asked, eyeing her in confusion, mostly hoping she won't snap at him like she did before.
Instead, she sighed, and hugged him.

"I'm fine, Hank. Don't worry about me."
She said, feeling his gentle arms wrapped around her.
As soon as they let go, Sophia gave him a soft, fake smile, and headed for the school's gate.
"I wonder what's wrong with her ?"

Hank murmered as he stood next to Frankie and Ashley, who were packing their school bags.
"I bet Melissa is her old friend who died, and now she's here to take revenge on Sophia."
Frankie chuckled as he spoke.

"Frankie, that's not funny !"
Ashley exclaimed.
"I'm just trying to light up the atmosphere. You're just so worried, Hank. She's probably having her time of the month."

"Frankie !"

...

"Sophia, were you with Henry again ?"
Nick said as soon as his sister stepped into the limo.
"It's none of your business, Nick ! Shut. up. !"
She spat at him coldly.

"I..I'm just worried about you. I don't want you to get hurt, that's all."
As soon as the words got out of his mouth, he knew it was a terrible mistake.

Sophia scoffed bitterly, ready to slap her brother at any second.
"Get hurt? No one would hurt me in this world more than you, so shut up. I'm your sister for God's sake !"

She stopped talking and looked into his bright blue eyes.
"And I thought I could count you. I wanted to believe that I had this awesome brother that would help me whenever I needed him. Instead you turned away from me, and bullied me. How stupid I am."

He looked disappointed, and for the first time ever he realized what she really thought of him before what he did.

He sighed in heartbreak, then turned to stare at the window, trying to stay silent for the rest of the ride.
