Sophia ran, passing Hank, muttering "Excuse me.." before walking towards the place where the shadowy figure was.
Looking far ahead of her, but she saw nothing.

Absolutely Nothing.

"Did I say something wrong ?"
She heard Hank mutter, and she turned to him immediately.
"No, no..I'm sorry.."

She hugged him tightly, the sense of safety slowly coming back to her head.
Gosh, why does he make her feel like that whenever she's around him ?
She smiled as they slowly let go.
"Sophia, are you okay ?"

She wasn't. That's why she hated that question.
"Yeah, of course."
He slowly nodded his head, and his expression told her that her answer wasn't convincing enough.

"Let's go."
She said softly, holding his hand. Then they walked away.

45 Minutes Later :

Sophia was slowly eating her lunch, sitting across from Nick, who was, again, apologizing to her.

"Sophia..I know I messed up, like so much, but I just want to have my sister back."
The feeling of anger slowly trickled to her head.
"Why are you apologizing now, Nick ?"

His eyes were filled with sadness, and..tears..?
She never thought he would want her to forgive him so much.
Like it would change anything.

"Because Dad threatened me to kick me out of the house.."
A tear streamed down his face, he wiped it away quickly.
"I can't live anywhere else. So please, Sophia, forgive me. I know it's my fault."

He just didn't want to be abandoned. He didn't want to leave the luxurious life that he's been living in for the past 14 years.

"I knew it ! You don't want to be out of the house, that's all. Deep down, you don't want me to forgive you. So, from now on, you're not even allowed to look at me."
She spoke harshly, and Nick shook his head slowly.

"But dad-"
"You should've thought of dad before you humiliate me."

The next thing he knew, he was covered in her lunch. She spilled all of her food onto his head.
He gasped, looking at his ruined clothes.
"Sophia-"
She lifted her glass of water, and spilled it on his head too.

"It's not only about dad.."
He muttered, staring desperately at her, then at his food-covered body.
She shrugged, and walked away after.

Sophia sat quietly next to Hank as Miss Adolf started talking, glaring at Nick everytime she has the chance.

"Class, I would like you to welcome our new student, Miss Melissa Htaed."
Sophia immediately turned to Miss Adolf, her eyes widening in shock.

The next moment, a girl in black hair that reached half the way down her back, with light hazel eyes that looked green in sunlight, stepped into the room.

"Hello, guys. I'm Melissa. Nice to meet you all."
She said, smiling. Before turning to Sophia.
Shock filled Melissa's face, but then it turned to hatred.

Sophia was more than shocked. It was her best friend standing right in front of her. Yet Melissa didn't seem happy.
