I tapped my foot impatiently, waiting for Charu to open the door. Her friend had messaged me her address. The door now twisted open.
"Dev?" Her familiar voice gasped, and I pulled her by the waist, hugging her. She tensed up, but didn't leave my arms. She pulled away from me with a bewildered expression.
"What are you doing here?" She frowned, and I caressed her cheek.
"I just couldn't stay away," I murmured with a smirk, and a red tint appeared on her cheek.
"Charu, why didn't you tell me?" I demanded, and her frown deepened.
"That people were talking about you like that," I pressed a kiss on her forehead, and she sighed.
"Anushka didi said that they don't have anything better to do and that I'll be able to brush it off." Tears welled up in her eyes, "But I can't just brush it aside."
I wiped away her tears and pulled her into a kiss. My hands placed around her waist, and I smiled. Her lips were soft and addictive. The moment I got a taste of them, I wanted more.
(*Ayush barfing saying that his dad is so cheesy*)
"Dev, we should just stay on our own paths." Charu pushed me away, I frowned.
"What! You love me and I'm crazy about you!" My voice rising with each word, she clamped my mouth shut.
"Shush!" She hissed, and I knit my eyebrows together.
"Charu? What's that sound?" An elderly man's voice came from inside.
"Nothing, papa!" Charu called out, and I smirked.
"Ah, it appears my father-in-law is here." I smiled, and Charu's expression caused my smile to fade.
"Dev, I'm getting married..."

"What!?" He hissed loudly, and Aarohi motioned for him to shut up.
