Third Person POV

(Flashback)

Charu was tapping her foot impatiently, the plane's boarding call wasn't being announced quick enough for her. She heard the racing of footsteps behind her, and she whipped around with a frown. But the hopeful light in her eyes faded away when she saw who it was.

Dev.

"Where do you think you're going?" He panted, which was when she realized how far he'd have to travel to arrive at the airport.

"Home," She supplied blankly, but Dev looked around making sure no one else was looking in their direction. He gently caressed Charu's cheek.

"Home for me is where you are," Dev mumbled and looked at his feet.

"Dev, I've told you over and over." Charu snapped at last, "You're famous and I'm not. It's not a very good mix."

"MS Dhoni was famous and Sakshi wasn't. Ashwin was famous and Prithi wasn't-" He started to list cricketers and their wives.

"I get the point," Charu cut off his rantings, making him smile.

"Can we go now?" Dev complained, and Charu raised an eyebrow.

"We?" She retorted skeptically.

"Yes, we," Dev responded with a suppressed smile. But any hint of a smile or happiness faded from his face after Charu's next words.

"No,"
