Dev's POV as he tells the story

"Charu-" I looked at her disbelief written all over my face,

She was pregnant and these were the abortion papers

"Why didn't you tell me?" I never felt so betrayed before, 

"What was I supposed to say?" She mumbled and sat down, I could see the guilt in her eyes. I sat down beside her and took her hand in mine.

"That you're pregnant," I tried teasing her, but all I got was a weak smile. I wrapped my hands around her waist and hugged her. She buried her face in my chest, and I comforted her.

"Don't leave," I whispered into her ear, I'd seen the flight tickets on her coffee table. I kissed her forehead, and we stayed like that for a few minutes. After a while, she broke away from my embrace and looked at me with pained eyes. 

"Did you... Did you abort?" I winced knowing this would be an awkward topic. She shook her head.

"I was about to go the hospital now," She shifted on her feet, and I'd seen her eye bags and puffy eyes.

"Get some sleep first," I ordered, and she rolled her eyes. I was surprised that she was even able to stand, she looked like she hadn't slept in over three days. I saw her yawn, and stumble. She stumbled and fell on top of me, making me fall on the couch, and blinked a few times. I

"Sorry," She was about to get up when I wrapped my arms, around her waist and smiled.

"Not a problem," I chuckled, she rested her head on my chest.

After a few minutes, I heard a snore. I stifled laughter and gently lifted her up. Placing her on the bed, she clutched my wrist, not letting me go.

"Don't go," She stirred in her sleep, I smiled and sat down. 

"I won't," I whispered and brought her hand to my lips, pressing a kiss on it.
