Aru's Telling The Story 

Note: Aru is not Charu,

Charu was my best friend, we'd both known each other for four years. Dev and her did meet once more, but it was at an unfortunate time. 

They met each other again at her wedding,

This was also when I first met, Dev.

Charu's eyes were a mixture of emotions, I could see her struggling to control them. She appeared to be lost, and alone in the crowded wedding hall. I squeezed her hand and nudged her.

"It's still not too late," I whispered in a hushed tone, and she laughed.

"It is too late," She looked away from me, and I turned to Dev and motioned for him to meet me outside.

"Is there any way you can get her out of here?" I hissed under my breath, gesturing to Charu.

Why did I interfere with Charu's life?

That's because she was the only person who'd stuck up for me during college, and traveled alongside me during my highs and lows. She was practically my sister. I couldn't watch her get married off to someone she didn't know.

"Aru!" A voice beckoned me back to the marriage hall. I cast one last look at Dev, whose eyes were blanketed with pain, and left.

But the thing is,

Charu wasn't on the mandap.

(WHAT?! ~ Aarohi)

(Shush! ~ Dhristi)

(Shh! ~ Ayush)

(*Dev chuckling*)

I asked around and found out that the wedding had been moved to tomorrow, the groom's brother's flight was delayed badly. And the groom's family wanted him to be there for the marriage.

We still had some time left
