Third Person POV

"WHAT!" Aarohi shot upward, with the book in her hands.

"Give me that!" Ayush reached out for the book but Dhristi snatched it away.

"The diary ends here!" She groaned in frustration, 

"We could try dad's phone?" Ayush suggested, and Aarohi shook her head.

"No, he'll notice if the phone is missing." Dhristi shook her head, and Aarohi was deep in thought.

"Try looking through the pages to see if he wrote a random entry," Aarohi enjoined the brainstorming session, and Dhristi nodded. The two of them scanned every last page of the diary for any other entry. But there was no luck.

The rest of the diary was completely empty.

The kids were desperate to know what had happened next, even though it was their father that they were talking about, they wanted Dev to be with 'His Charu'.

"Does dad have another diary?" Ayush racked through his brain for any hints of clues.

"Yes, in fact he does." A voice responded. "It's on the second shelf of the bedroom drawer,"

"That's it!" Ayush stood up excitedly, "Let's go get that diary-"

He froze realizing that the voice was coming from somewhere else and not from Aarohi or Dhristi.

It was male and deep, Ayush whirled around to see his dad sitting on the staircase, watching them.

"DAD?!" The three kids chorused, and knew that they'd been caught.

Aarohi had one thought at that time,

Oh Shit

Dev caught them red-handed!

And, Charu's getting married!
