-Act One-

The great hall was packed with students wearing their house colours proudly as they came back for another year at hogwarts, while some new ones stood either nervously or excitedly in the middle waiting to be sorted to their houses and start a new chapter in their life.

Callista was one of them, she stood beside a boy she doesn't know as she jumps up and down on her feet to try and find someone in the crowd, while silently scolding herself on how did she afford to lose him in the crowd earlier.

"Can you stop jumping? You're making me dizzy" the boy beside her spoke up as she stops before looking at him shyly.

"Sorry,"she apologised

"No worries, I'm James,"The boy introduced himself even offering his hand as she accepted, shooking it.

"Callista,"she smiled before going back to looking for a particular boy but the boy she's looking for eventually rises from the crowd when the woman up front calls out his name which caught her attention.

"Sirius Black!"

She then excitedly watch him as he radiates with confidence, his head held high while walking up the stage before sitting down on the wooden stool, Callista admits that she was far more nervous for him than he for himself as he sat there patiently as the woman placed the sorting hat on his head.

The crowd then awaits and a few more seconds passed when the sorting hat finally speaks up.

"Slytherin!"
