Chapter-8

We reached a little late then the other cars because i had to get dadu,dadi medicine so we just stopped at a medical store.

Children ran inside the house. Even after this tiring day , and i am tired like hell .

"You know the reason why you are getting tired this easily " my brain & heart said together.

Wow guys the first time you both are together.

"You know na in his topic i am always serious" my mind said about heart.

"Yeah right" it replied in a sarcastic tone.

I went inside the house only to see everyone of them gathered in the living room but only person missing and that is nehu. I guess she slept. I think i should check on her. I started moving upstairs when dadi said.

"Amu where are you going?"

"Dida i am going upstairs to check on nehu . "

" She isn't upstairs".

"Then?"
I asked confused.

"I don't know beta she came with you na"

"No dida she said she was coming with you in your car" i shouted a bit as panick rose in me.

Nehu where is my nehu

"No she didn't" even dadi was shocked.

"Dida nehu meri nehu dida kaha hogi . Ek minute wo mandir mein hogi dida . Meri bachi dida wo ....itne der ho gayi hai....wo bechari ghabra gayi hogayi ... Dida main jaati hu ".

"Shant mere bache shant" .

" Dida how can i ?" .

I knew what was happening my chest started rising before doing anything i ran towards my room and took my medicine after that i ran back to dida. They both were in their room dadi was crying.

" Dida don't cry your amu is here na " saying this I came out of the room .
" i am going to get nehu " i said and was moving but stopped when i heard a voice.

"No need Ms AMAIRA." The voice said i turned.

"Didu" i heard my nehu voice.

She ran towards me and i engulfed her in my arm . My baby my peace.
I held her tightly as my life depends on her.

"Didu is sorry baby ... Your dudu is very bad " .

" No didu don't say that you are the best didu "

"I have told you so many times to not go here and there , you said you wanted to come with dadi then where did you went" .

"Didu i saw a ice - cream man" .

"Is your ice cream more important than your didu" I asked

She moved her head in a no.

"Then . Do you know how much your didu was scared ." I felt myself broking again .

Thank god i took the medicine.

"Sorry didu" . She said holding her ears .

Aww my baby . My heart is at peace.

I looked up to see mr Goenka staring at me . And his family was also present. Hearing the commotion dadi and dadu came out of thier room .

They hugged nehu.

"Ram , priya" i turned my face to see a lady of dadi's age with a shock expression.
Wait how does she know my dadi , dadu name.

I looked towards them and even They carried a face mix of guilt and shocked.

What the hell is happening?

The lady ran towards my dadi and hugged her . They both started crying.

Oh god what is happening.

Even Mr Goenka didn't knew what was happening he was as confused as me . I looked towards both my best friend and they both made their faces like asking "what was happening?" .
I actioned them saying i don't know.

Finally the bharat milaw ended but they again started crying.

"Where were you all this while ?" The lady asked.

My patience has committed suicide as i asked.

"Dadi what is happening?"

" Amu she is my friend more like sister, annapurna ".

As soon as dadi said that i went near the lady and took her blessings.

"Kush raho beta" . She blessesd.

"But dadi why didn't you tell anything about her?" I asked.

"I will tell you everything amu but first take the kids they are looking sleepy " . Dadu said and I nodded.

They might need some alone time .

"Kids let's go it's bed time "I called them as they were busy watching tv .

"Didu wait some more minute na " Avni said.

"No" its time for you all to go to bed .

"But didu tomorrow is Sunday na " Kartik said.

"No more arguments" . I said and they all pouted.

Ayan ran towards me and stretched his arm as asking for me to carry him . He yawned cutely. Aww my baby is sleepy. I picked him up in my arms and he snuggled more into me .

I feel someone gaze on me and I turned to look towards the door only to see Mr Goenka staring at me with adoration in his eyes.

Wired ! Khadoos.

"Hayee hayee amu tu itne hot bande ko khadoos kaise bula Sakti hain " my heart said.

"Hot orr yeh! Yehh sirf hit fire ugalta hai. Hot hain nahi " . I argued.

"Tu jaa apne akhon ka check up karwa . Kyunki agar tujhe ye hot nahi lag raha toh god knows tujhe kya hot lagega?" .

I ignored it and made my way upstairs. While i was moving i saw his whole family settling on the couch.
Hmm he has a big family.
