Yes I did go read through these scenarios to find who had dead family members or not.

Tanjiro 🌊

You two had been sent on a mission to kill a demon in your home town. You were trying to avoid your family at all cost, you didn't even tell him its was your hometown. You had some strained relationships were your parents.

You two some how ended up facing your parents head on. You were embarrassed and a little mad at yourself and parents. Your mother hugged you while Tanjiro was there so confused.

" do you know them? " Tanjiro asked you, he needed to be told these things. Your father answered for you " yes, of course he/she/they know us! We're there parents, who are you? "

You just gave Tanjiro the 'dont talk' look, but he would be feel bad if she didn't reply and leave you with them. " I'm Tanjiro, I'm there boyfriend. " Your father lit up " I knew they would find someone to date sooner or later! " Your father said before adding to that "why didn't you write a letter about this? "

" because of this " you were really uncomfortable, you just Tanjiro's hand and walked off.

" so they were my parents, uh I was trying to avoid this "you stated before he questioned "why? They seem like nice people! "

" oh, no they seem nice but they are crazy! "

Rengoku 🔥

You decided that Rengoku would meet your ninety two year old grandfather and your older sister. You had first warned him about your older sister, you had a iffy relationship with her.

Rengoku wanted to make a good first impression. He didn't want to anger your family in any way. You told him that its less likely he would anger them but in fact it was more likely you would. He didn't get a chance to ask why before your grandfather answered the door.

Your grandfather used to be a Demonslayer and he was your mother's father. They had one conversation and your grandfather had mad respect for Rengoku and Rengoku had mad respect for him. Through when Rengoku met your older sister he had trouble respecting her. She was a bitch, like queen of bitches type of bitch.

As you were having dinner your sister was making remarks about you, Rengoku, as your relationship, even your ex's. She even made remarks about your scars on your hands. Rengoku didn't like that your sister was talking about you and stood up for you.

" I am sorry but talking about someone's past, or relationships without asking is a little rude "he stated. After this continue for a while you left.

Sanemi 🌀

Most of your family is dead besides your father and younger cousin. He wanted to meet your family, so you invited them over. You did warn Sanemi that they were more of ass holes then you. You knew you were a asshat but they were worse.

Once they came to your house they started to nick pick EVERYTHING, they even asked why Sanemi wasn't dress appropriately. Sanemi already hated them, like the second they said something about his shirt not being buttoned.

You had cooked a lovely meal but no your father said " no you don't cook, your bad at it I'll cook it. "  You worked hard and now you were putting the food up, because your father didn't want you to cook.

You were vary surprised that Sanemi didn't kick them out by now. When you were at the dinner table, eating( the food was awful ).

Sanemi straight up said " this food is awful, who cooked it? " Your father lied " Y/N cooked it and didn't want me to cook " You weren't shocked he lied, and didn't say anything. Your younger cousin started to belittle you, Sanemi was shocked you were yelling at them.

Sanemi started to insult your father and younger cousin. Your father didn't like this and started acting like the victim, let's just say the night ended with a big family fight and your family kicked out.

Shinobu 🌸

You mother is alive, and she had never met Shinobu, you didn't even talk about her.

One day out of the blue your mother came to your place when Shinobu was there. Your mother thought Shinobu was your roommate. Shinobu almost laughed but you said " yeah. She's my roommate "Shinobu didn't know why you were lying but didn't ask anything through she was pissed.

Your mother, girlfriend and yourself had a dinner as your mother asked a lot of questions. It was really awkward for you because you just lied to her about everything.

She soon left and Shinobu asked you about why you lied.

You had told her stories about your mother and how truly awful she is. Your mother seems so sweet but she is anything but.

Obanai 🐍

All of your family is alive but he only met a few family members. He wanted to know what your family was like.

You and Obanai cooked some food, along with bread because that's the one thing he's good at cooking. You set everything up, painting about everything. You were scared about him meeting your father mostly, but your aunt is also a worry.

Once your aunt, mother and father came something was off. Your mother looked dead inside, your father looked tired, and your aunt smelled of alcohol. You were used to this while Obanai didn't expect this at all!  Your aunt wore English styled clothing and a pearl necklace were kinda expensive.

You guys sat down for dinner and started to talk. Whenever Obanai got asked a question it was always short answers no matter what. " so you own a snake? " Obanai got asked and he soon replied " yes" it was always answers like that.

Your mother never talked but your father did a lot. Your aunt was a little busy looking for any alcohol, which you didn't have. It was clear your family had some problems, they weren't as bad as his but they were bad.

Your aunt brought up a pretty bad ex of yours and you didn't like that. You ended up telling them to leave your home, pretty quickly.
