Y/N watched backstage as Kay Lee Ray climbed to the top rope, ready to perform a Swanton Bomb to end the match and beat Mandy for the title. Y/N had recently dropped the NXT UK title at TakeOver 36 to Meiko Satomura because she had sprained her knee during the match so in the middle of the match, Y/N had them change plans for Meiko to win. Y/N had continued the match which only made her injury worse but she was heavily praised for continuing it. Y/N didn't want to return to NXT UK as she did not want to move back to the UK which would prevent her from seeing her fiancé Kayleigh who was on NXT in the US.

Jacy Jayne had then jumped onto the apron, distracting the referee as Gigi shoved Kay Lee off the top rope, preventing her from finishing Mandy off. Then Jacy jumped off just in time for Mandy to hit her finisher (literally a knee strike) and pin Kay Lee to the three count. Y/N knew it was obviously scripted but she still hated seeing Kay Lee job to someone like Mandy who doesn't even hold enough talent to be in the ring with someone with a track record like Kay Lee's. She literally broke Meiko Satomura's undefeated streak in the indies AND in NXT UK. Why would they have her job to Mandy Rose? It made zero sense to Y/N. (these are my own frustrations lol)

Y/N waited in the gorilla and watched as Gigi and Jacy both grabbed the arms of Kay Lee, restricting her as Mandy held Kay Lee's bat up to her chin. Only Kay Lee was simply unfazed and held a grin on her face. That's when the lights flickered and Y/N's music hit and the audience went loud with cheers. "It's Y/R/N! We haven't seen her since TakeOver 36! Last I heard she left due to injury!" Y/N finally ran out and Jacy slid out of the ring to attack but Y/N grabbed her amd threw her into the steel steps. "Not only is Y/R/N coming to save her former partner but she came to save her wife!"

She slid in the ring, immediately sending a big boot to Gigi and a closeline to Mandy. As Mandy stumbled back up Kay Lee grabbed her and hooked their arms, performing a Gory Bomb onto the champion. "You're lying! Since when were Y/R/N and Kay Lee Ray married?!" Wade argued with Vic on commentary. "Earlier this year." Y/N grinned and wrapped her arms around her wife, both of them happy to be in the same ring again. Toxic Attraction were absolutely stunned as they looked at the couple from outside the ring. Y/N grabbed Mandy's fallen title and laughed, "Give me my title back!" Mandy screamed.

Y/N scoffed and threw the title at Mandy with complete disrespect. Y/N quickly took the mic she was handed and leaned forward on the ropes. "My my it's been a while hasn't it?! Ya know, I obviously did not plan to return like this but, we both had a feeling those two trolls would cost Kay Lee the match. So, let's just wrap this up shall we?" Y/N began ignoring Toxic Attraction shouting things at her for the troll comment. Kay Lee still recovering from the match, told them to shut up which made the gape in offense. "See, now me personally, I don't like when anybody lays a finger on my wife, especially to cheat. So, Gigi Dolin, how about me and you go one on one next week for old times sake?" Y/N smirked.

Gigi glared at her, remembering their old matches in the indies that Y/N had won. Gigi never had a pin over Y/N and that still pissed her off. "Fine!" Gigi agreed, loud enough for everyone to hear. "Oh and mate, if you even make any attempt to screw me over, I'll remind you exactly why you've never pinned me in your entire career. Oh and you can bring your little trolls with ya too! I got plenty of backup on my side," Y/N laughed, putting her arm around Kay Lee. Toxic Attraction just glared at the couple as Y/N's music played. "And it is official! Y/R/N returns to in ring action to face Gigi Dolin!" Wade announced.

Once they went off to commercial, Y/N pressed a small peck to Kay Lee's lips which made everyone awe at them. "I always got ya back," Y/N mumbled.

Kayleigh smiled and she could not be happier to have married Y/N.
