DAYS IN THE SUN

AMARA COULD TELL Percy was upset by the way the meeting had ended, especially when he left for his cabin immediately afterwards without so much as saying a word.

So once Zoë informed her of the time she needed the demigod up and ready by, she made her way to cabin three where she waited for the son of Poseidon to answer the door.

Her arms were wrapped around herself, clinging to what little warmth she had left after forgetting to swing by her cabin and grab her leather jacket first. The cold December air nipped at her exposed skin, a constant reminder of her unpreparedness.

Finally, the cabin's door swung open to reveal Percy. The boy had changed from his usual blue jeans and orange camp shirt, to black and blue plaid sweats with a loose black hoodie. His raven hair was tousled, his eyes widened upon realizing it was her standing in front of him.

"You gonna let me in Percy," she mumbled, giving the boy a small smirk. "Or let me stand out here and freeze all night."

He quickly scrambled to the side, allowing her to make her way in as he shut the door behind her. Percy made his way to his bed, resting his back against the headrest as she analyzed the cabin.

Three sets of bunk beds resided in the left side of the cabin behind stone where there weren't any windows, a dresser sat across the bunks with six drawers for each camper. Sea plants decorated the top of the dresser and windowsills, some of the most beautiful plants she'd ever seen.

A fountain in the corner created just enough mist for a small rainbow to appear, while the water itself spouted from the mouth of a carved fish by the ceiling and trailed down the waterfall to the main pond where multiple golden drachmas sat. A work table Amara could only assume was Tyson's had been set up under the front window, a model of a hippocampi hung over the table in the corner.

Percy had picked the bottom bunk in the center of the room, closer to the window and the scent of the sea was stronger. The walls of the cabin shined like an abalone shell, the moonlight hitting the fountain and causing the cabin to look as if it was underwater.

"This is amazing," she mumbled, momentarily forgetting her coldness as she watched the walls seem to move in waves. A smile curled onto Percy's lips, his eyes soft as he watched her admire the cabin.

At least, until a soft wind blew through the open window and reminded the girl of her freezing state. The sea green eyed boy didn't hesitate once he saw the shiver rack throughout her body, taking his hoodie off and tossing it towards her.

She caught it easily, arching a brow at the now hoodie less boy who bore a loose blue t-shirt. "You look cold," he explained, tilting his head towards the item now in her arms. "Put it on, before you end up freezing more."

Resisting the blood that threatened to flush her cheeks, she slipped the sweater over her head. The scent of the sea, salt, and cookies flooded her senses, the comforting smell of Percy Jackson.

The raven haired boy quickly turned his head to the side, his cheeks flushed red at the sight of the brunette in his hoodie. He had to admit, it looked good with her blue jeans and converses. Her brown curly hair fell down the front, her eyes shining across the moonlight as she stuffed her hands into the pockets.

It was silent between the two as Amara made her way to his bed, setting on the opposite end as Percy finally managed to get his redness under control. "So," he started. "You're going on the quest?"

She pulled her legs onto the bed, keeping one out while the other she pulled up to her chin. "Yeah," she finally spoke. "I don't like it though."

His eyes widened a bit, his gaze landing on her with a confused look. "What do you mean?"

But her gaze remained locked on the floor, her mind racing how to answer the question. "It feels . . . wrong."

His eyebrows furrowed. "How?"

"We're on a quest, without Annabeth but instead to save her," She explained. "And this time, it's only going to be me and Grover. So it's wrong because . . ."

She took a second, preparing herself for the words she was about to say. "Because you won't be there, Percy. It doesn't feel right without you, especially not on a quest like this."

His eyes widened, blush rushing to his face once more as luckily the electric blue eyes girl's attention went back to the floor. Red covered her own cheeks as she pulled the hood over her head, successfully hiding her face.

It was quiet between the two, both attempting to get their flushed cheeks back to their normal color while also making sure the other didn't see. "I—uh . . ." Amara couldn't form words, her embarrassment taking control.

"Yeah . . ."

Suddenly, the harpies voices rang throughout the cabin area. "Bed time for half-bloods, if caught, snack time for harpies!"

"You should get back," Percy said, sparing her a look as she looked up. "Before you have to deal with the harpies."

She didn't answer, instead her hands going to his hoodie to give it back. "No." She stopped, raising a brow as he gave her a smile. "Keep it, besides, it looks better on you."

Her eyes widened and her hand's immediately disappeared back into the pockets, getting to her feet she shook her head softly at the boy. "Goodnight Percy."

He gave another soft smile, watching as she made her way to the door. "Amara," he called, stopping her as she tilted her head back towards him. He knew his next words could be meaningless, especially if he found a way to sneak onto the quest. "Make sure you stay safe, don't be reckless."

It took everything in her not to smile at the boy she once hated with everything in her, but now, she didn't know what to feel towards him. Instead, she nodded and gave him a grin. "You got it, Seaweed Brain."

The sun hadn't even started rising by the time Zoë wanted them ready to go, a time that was unreasonable in Amara's mind. But she didn't complain, throwing her bag into the back of the Camp Half-Blood van and making her way to it.

She arched a brow as Zoë got in the driver's seat, Thalia joining her in the passenger seat while Bianca and Grover sat in the middle row. "Where's Argus?" Her words earned her sisters attention, the older girl rolled her eyes while motioning to Zoë with her head.

"We're not stopping in Manhattan," Bianca explained, noticing the silent communication between the daughters of Zeus. "A few detours first,"

She shared another look with Thalia, but the older girl gave her a helpless shrug as she turned around back in her seat. Amara didn't say anything after that, curling up against the cold window and pulling up Percy's hood over her head to ensure some darkness as she fell back asleep.

.·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·.

"Hey, sis you gotta wake up." The voice shook Amara from her sleep as she launched forward, her shoulders seemingly on fire from whatever she had been holding in her dreams. Her eyes quickly landed on Thalia, the older girl's lips twisted with a frown. "You okay?"

Her hand rested on Amara's shoulder, her eyes quickly scanning the younger girls body for any injuries despite knowing she had been asleep in the car the whole time. "You look panicked, bad dream?"

She nodded, a sigh of relief escaping from the older girl as she ruffled the younger Grace's hair. "We made a pit stop in Maryland, come on let's get you something to eat."

The group of demigods and satyr made their way into the store, Thalia and Amara briefly separating from the trio so the raven haired girl could make sure the latter would be okay and not randomly passed out.

After getting the brunette a small bag of skittles and a pink lemonade, they made their way back to Grover and the hunters. "So," she took a drink out of her lemonade before continuing. "Did you figure it out?"

The Underwood boy looked up. "We need to go to the Smithsonian."

"Smithsonian?" Thalia arched a brow. "As in, Washington D.C?"

"Yeah," with those words the hunters paid for the nuts he had been using and Amara's snacks. "Grover," the electric blue eyed girl called. "Are you sure?"

"Well . . . pretty sure," he answered. "Ninety-nine percent, or more like eighty-five percent."

"And you did this . . . with acorns?" Bianca seemed skeptical, like she couldn't believe it to be true.

"It's a time honored tracking spell," he gave the di Angelo an offended look. "I'm pretty sure I did it right."

"Well, D.C is about sixty miles from here," the younger hunter explained. "Nico and I . . ."

Bianca frowned, like she couldn't remember where she was going with the story. "We used to live there but that's strange, I've forgotten."

"I dislike this," Zoë mumbled. "We should go straight west, the prophecy said west."

"Oh," Thalia challenged. "Like your tracking skills are any better?"

"You challenge my skills, you scullion?" The hunter stepped towards the eldest daughter of Zeus. "You know nothing of being a hunter!"

"Oh, scullion, you're calling me a scullion?" Thalia growled at the immortal. "What the heck is a scullion?"

"Come on," Amara mumbled, grabbing her older sister's arm and dragging her towards their van. "It's not worth it."

"Amara's right," Bianca said. "It's not worth it and according to Grover, D.C is our best bet so we should try."

"Very well," Zoë didn't look convinced in the slightest, but nodded regardless. "Let us keep moving."

"You're going to get arrested driving," Thalia grumbled as she shot the Nightshade girl a glare. "I look closer to sixteen than you do."

"Thalia," Amara hissed as she tugged the raven haired girls arm.

"Perhaps," the hunter snapped. "But I have been driving since automobiles were invented, so let us go."

Finally, after getting Thalia and Zoë back into the van without another argument, they were on the road for around an hour or roughly two before they arrived to their destination.

Amara walked besides the eldest Grace as they made their way inside the National Air and Space Museum, which luckily for them; wasn't full at all. "So," she questioned, directing her gaze to Thalia. "What are we looking for?"

"Honestly?" The former tree quickly glanced at her, giving a shrug of her shoulders. "No idea."

Grover let out a sigh. "I hate museum's."

Together, the quintet made their way to the third floor balcony where they analyzed the museum and tried to figure out what it is Artemis had stopped inside for. At least, that was the plan until somebody racing up the ramp to their floor slammed into Amara and successfully knocked her down.

A yelp escaped the satyr while Zoë and Bianca immediately aimed their bows at the unknown boy, Thalia on standby with her hands resting on her bracelet.

A groan escaped from the youngest Grace as she finally brought her eyes to look at the boy who sat in front of her, sea green met electric blue as her eyes widened in surprise. "Percy?" She asked, being pulled to her feet by Thalia who did a silent check over.

"Percy!" Grover exclaimed, broadcasting for both himself and Amara the joy they felt upon realizing he snuck out. "Thank goodness."

Zoë shot the satyr a glare, the latter blushing as he quickly changed his words. "I mean, um, gods you're not supposed to be here!"

"Luke," the raven haired boy gasped, his hands resting on his knees as he attempted to regain the breath he lost. "He's here."

Slight anger appeared in Thalia's older dark electric blue eyes, gripping her silver bracelet. "Where?"

"He's in the National History Museum," Percy stood up to his full height. "He's there with the General of Kronos' army and they were raising the dead out of the ground with teeth!"

"The General is here?" Zoë looked stunned. "That is impossible! You lie."

"Why would I lie? Look, there's no time, skeleton warriors—"

"Seriously?" Amara asked, unable to hide the slight annoyance she had towards fighting skeletons. "How many?"

"Twelve," he answered. "And that's not all, the general said he was sending something to distract you over here. A monster, or a playmate as he called it."

"We were following Artemis' trail," Grover spoke after exchanging a look with Thalia. "I was sure it led here, a powerful monster scent . . . she must've stopped here looking the monster, but we haven't found anything yet."

"Zoë." Bianca said nervously. "If it is the General—"

"It cannot be!" Zoë snapped. "Percy must have seen an Iris-message or some other illusion."

"Illusions don't crack marble floors." He told her, and Amara spoke up to defend him. "He's right, besides Percy wouldn't lie about these things."

"If Percy is telling the truth about the skeleton warriors." Zoë took a deep breath. "We have no time to argue. They are the worst, the most horrible . . . We must leave now."

"Good idea," Percy agreed but the hunter was quick to shoot him down. "I was not including thee, boy," she snapped. "You're not apart of this quest."

"Hey, I'm trying to save your lives!"

"You shouldn't have come, Percy," Thalia said grimly, sparing her younger sister a quick glance. "But you're here now so come on, let's get back to the van."

"That is not thy decision!" Zoë snapped.

"You're not the boss here, Zoë. I don't care how old you are!" The former tree scowled at her. "You're still a conceited little brat!"

"You never had any wisdom when it came to boys." The hunter growled. "You never could leave them behind!"

Thalia took a step towards Zoë as the archer did the same, the two looked like they were about to go at it until a rumbling sound vibrated their bodies and the floor they stood atop of. Amara's eyes went to Percy, but his were directed to the lower floor as a kid cried out in delight the word kitty.

Then, a creature with gold fur stood across from them on the wheelchair access ramp, it's front and back paws in a pouncing position as it's sliver claws shined against the floor. "The Namean Lion," Thalia spoke. "Don't move."

The lion roared at her words, the brunette's hair parted as she caught a glimpse of its fangs that glowed like steel. "Separate on my mark." Zoë said. "Try to keep it distracted."

"Until when?" A gulp escaped the satyr as he shook slightly where he stood.

"Until I think of a way to kill it. Go!"

They did as the hunter instructed and separated on her mark. Amara ripped her necklace free as her sword morphed in her hand, arrows rained from above as Zoë and Bianca climbed to get the high ground on the Apollo capsule.

But their arrows were nothing compared to the creatures fur, they shattered harmlessly upon contact. The lion racked his claws against the capsule, sending the hunters falling off the back as Grover played a frantic tune to get the creature away from the immortals.

It had work, but the lion had turned its attention onto the satyr next. Thalia didn't let it move before she got in it's path, Aegis resting on her arm as the creature recoiled.

"Back!" The eldest daughter of Zeus called, thrusting her spear in its direction. "Back!"

Amara followed suit as she trailed behind the older girl with her sword raised, leaving Percy and Grover behind as she analyzed the monster. At first glance it would seem like Thalia had the creature under control, but the lion was crouching which was a dead giveaway it would pounce soon.

Her eyes quickly landed onto the nearby hanging planets, a smirk curled onto her lips as an idea popped into her head. She grabbed onto the nearest planet, Pluto, and began her plan. "Hey ugly!" She called, earning the lion's attention as she swung in and successfully knocked it off it's feet.

But her efforts didn't keep it down for more than a few seconds, the creature got back to its feet and let out a roar in her direction.

"Oops?" She mumbled towards the lion before her eyes widened, using her core strength she quickly lifted her legs up into the air and wrapped them around the cord. Pulling herself up just in time, she narrowly missed the creatures claws swiping where she had once been.

"Move," Percy yelled, his gaze locked onto the younger demigod who had made her way onto Pluto. "Now, Amara!"

She listened, grabbing onto the next planet over which happened to be Jupiter. She managed to miss the swipe of it's claws once more, Thalia's voice yelling at the monster as she tried gaining it's attention only for it to be futile.

"Hey!" Percy yelled, charging at the lion as he slashed the creature with Riptide. Instead of slicing the monster into golden dust, his sword met the monster's fur in a fury of sparks.

The lion retaliated by clawing at the Jackson boy with its talons, snagging a chunk of coat off. Percy became corned against the railing, until he turned and jumped once the monster sprung at him.

Once the monster was on a lower level, Amara swung the planet closer to the balcony and landed besides Thalia. Sparring one another a look, they took off running to the lower floors.

"Zoë!" Percy shouted, dodging the lion. "Target the mouth!"

The hunter did as she was told while the son of Poseidon dropped from a spaceship onto a model of earth, sliding down to Russia. The monster growled as it attempted to steady itself, but it's weight proved to be too much as the cords snapped and the lion was sent flying onto a model of the North Pole.

"I know this isn't exactly the right circumstances," Amara mumbled as she watched with slight amusement as the lion fell. "But, it's kinda funny."

"Grover!" Percy yelled, never giving Thalia the chance to respond. "Clear the area!"

The satyr was on the bottom floor, attempting to guide groups of kid away from the monster who just crashed onto the first floor alongside the spaceship. Amara quickly dropped from the second floor balcony, landing across from Percy on the model of Russia.

Thalia joined the duo shortly after, earning the lion's attention as it seemed to be thinking about which one of them to kill first. "No clear shot!" Zoë yelled from above the trio of demigods. "Get it to open its mouth more!"

"Amara and Thalia," the sea green eyed boy turned to the Grace sisters. "Keep it occupied."

The girls nodded grimly, each sliding off the model and landing mere feet away from the creature. The older girl started the battle first, pointing her spear at the creature as an arc blue lightning shot out at the lion.

The creature let out a roar before pouncing on the raven haired girl, but Thalia quickly rolled out of the way while Percy ran for the gift shop. "This is no time for souvenirs, boy!" Zoë yelled.

Amara quickly lunged, jabbing at the monster with her sword before her older sister slid in front of her. Aegis covered the girls bodies as the brunette quickly slipped out from behind the former tree.

"Percy," she called, raising her sword as she switched places with Thalia once more. "Whatever you're going to do—"

She wasn't able to finish her sentence before she was swatted to the side. Her body slammed into a titan rocket, her head hitting the metal as she landed back on the floor.

"Amara!"

"Hey!" Percy hurled his sword at the creature, but it bounced harmlessly off the side. The action alone was enough to achieve his goal, he successfully drew the monster's attention away from the electric blue eyed girl who struggled to sit up.

The Jackson boy charged, throwing ice cream packs at the lion. The animal stopped, gagging on the packs as it's eyes widened. "Zoë," Percy yelled, rushing away from the monster. "Get ready!"

The creature managed to choke down the ice cream, a growl escaping once it's eyes landed on Percy. "Snack time!" The son of Poseidon yelled, a smirk resting on his lips.

The lion roared, a mistake on his part as the raven haired boy threw an ice-scream sandwich down its throat. Before the monster could attempt to shallow or choke it down, he shot in two more as the creature's eyes bugged.

The monsters mouth hung open as immediate arrows pierced it's maw, it began thrashing wildly before it finally fell backward and became still. Grover wrapped Amara's arm around his shoulders as he pulled her up, soft smile resting on his lips as the girl's eyes stayed dazed over for a few seconds.

"That was an," Zoë eyed Percy. ". . . Interesting strategy."

"Hey it worked." But she didn't answer, instead her eyes were locked on the lion. The creature had began melting, until all that remained was a glittering fur coat the size of a lion's pelt.

"Take it," the hunter nudged her head to the remains of the monster.

He blinked. "What, the lions fur?" She nodded. "Isn't that like, an animal rights violation or something?"

"It is a spoil of war," the immortal explained. "So, it is rightfully thee."

"You killed it." He said.

"I think thy ice-cream sandwich did that," she shook her head with a small smile. "Fair is fair, Percy Jackson, take the fur."

He lifted it up and it morphed from a pelt, instead it was a body length golden brown duster coat. "Not exactly my style," he mumbled as he eyed it.

"We have to get out of here," Grover said, making his way over with Amara who was still using him as support. "The security guards won't stay confused for long."

A smirk curled onto the brunette's lips as she eyed the coat Percy had slipped on, an idea popping into her head. "Nice look, Beasty."

His eyes widened at the new nickname, his mind automatically connecting to the meaning of the name and her feelings towards where it originated from

"The security guards are not our biggest worry." Zoë spoke. "Look."

Through the windows, Amara's gaze landed on men in gray camouflage outfits. "Go," Percy instructed. "They'll be hunting me, I'll distract them."

"No," Zoë argued. "We go together."

Percy stared at her. "But, you said—"

"You are a part of this quest now." The hunter said grudgingly. "I do not like it, but there is no changing fate. You are the sixth quest member. And we are not leaving anyone behind."

.·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·.

A sleek black military helicopter, one of the same model from the Westover Hall incident, followed behind the van filled with demigods, hunters, and satyr. "They know the van," Percy explained, leaning over Amara as he watched the vehicle. "We have to ditch it."

The huntress swerved into the fast lane, sending the demigods and satyr crashing into one another. "Maybe," Grover started as he got back up from his fallen place on the floor. "The military will shoot it down."

"The military probably thinks it's one of theirs," the brunette mumbled as she pulled herself off the raven haired boy. "How can the general even pull this off?"

"Mercenaries." Zoë said bitterly. "It is distasteful, but many mortals will fight for any cause as long as they are paid."

"But do these mortals see who they're working for?" Percy asked. "Don't they notice all the monsters around them?"

"I do not know how much they see through the mist," the Nightshade girl gave a helpless shrug. "I doubt it would matter to them if they knew the truth, sometimes, mortals are more horrible than monsters."

"Hey, dad," Thalia prayed, earning Amara's attention as she watched her older sister shut her eyes together hard. "A lightning bolt would be real nice right about now, please?"

But the skies remained grey, their father unbothered to give his eldest daughter a response. "There!" Bianca shouted, pointing at a nearby building. "That parking lot."

"We'll be trapped," Zoë said.

"Trust me,"

The immortal didn't hesitate, quickly merging across the lanes of traffic while the passengers were thrown around with no hesitation. The van squealed as Zoë slammed on the breaks in a mall parking lot, quickly putting the vehicle in park as they hurried out.

Bianca ran down a staircase, the older demigods and satyr quickly following behind. "Subway entrance," the oldest di Angelo explained. "Let's go south, Alexandria."

Thalia instantly agreed, buying tickets for the group of six as they immediately boarded a southbound train. The train lead them away from D.C, the helicopter circling the parking lot and ignoring the abandoning mode of transport.

"Good job," Amara complimented, stuffing her hands in Percy's hoodie pockets. "Thinking of the subway,"

"Yeah, well, I saw that station when Nico and I came through last summer." She gave the electric blue eyed girl a pleased look. "But, I remember how surprising it was to see it. After all, it wasn't there when we used to live in D.C."

"New?" Grover frowned. "But that station looked ancient."

"I guess," Bianca shrugged. "Trust me, when we lived here as little kids, no subway existed."

"Wait a minute," Thalia leaned forward. "No subway at all?"

Bianca nodded.

"Bianca," Amara spoke. "How long ago . . ." She was cut off by the sound of helicopter blades, the noise getting dangerously closer.

"We need to change trains," Percy instructed. "Next station."

During the next hour and a half, they changed trains twice with no idea where they were headed, only with the goal in mind to get rid of the helicopter. When the group of six finally got off their last train, they were in the middle of nowhere.

The youngest Grace stuffed her hands further into the borrowed hoodie's pockets, an attempt to keep herself warm as light snow flurries floated around them. All she could make out in the distance was next to nothing, just warehouses and old railway tracks.

They wandered through the empty railway yard, Amara walking besides Percy as the latter finally noticed she still bore his hoodie. He quickly focused his attention on the snow, an attempt to hide his smile from the realization she kept it. Finally, they stumbled across a homeless man who stood by a trashcan fire.

"Y'all need warmed up?" The older man gave them a toothless grin. "Come on over!"

They accepted the invite without hesitation, huddling around the fire while attempting to stay warm. "Well, this is g—g—g—great," Thalia muttered, her teeth constantly chattering.

"My hooves," Grover whined. "Their frozen—"

"Feet," Percy and Amara quickly corrected, each sending the satyr a warning look.

"Maybe we should contact camp." Bianca spoke. "Chiron—"

"No," Zoë interrupted. "They cannot help us anymore, we must finish this quest ourselves."

"You know," the toothless man spoke, earning the demigods, hunters, and satyr's attention. "You're never completely without friends." He gave them a kind look. "You kids in need of a train going west?"

"Yes, sir." Percy answered, his body shaking besides Amara. "You know of any?"

He pointed a greasy hand in the distance, where a freight train free of snow with steel mesh curtains and triple-deck of cars rested. Their were words along the side, making out the label Sun West Line.

"That's . . . convenient," Thalia mumbled without her teeth chattering. "Thanks, uh . . ." But when she had turned to the homeless guy, he was long gone and had taken the flames with him.

Finally, an hour later they were on their way west. Luckily, something Amara was silently thanking the gods for, Zoë didn't have to drive because every quest member got their own luxurious car.

The hunters had claimed a Lexus in the third deck, crashing out immediately once they made themselves comfortable. Grover had found a red Lamborghini in the second deck, and began acting like he was a race car diver. Thalia picked a black Mercedes SLK in the second deck as well, quickly hot wiring the radio as she made herself comfortable.

Amara had made her way down to the first deck, immediately claiming a white ford F150 as she climbed in the drivers seat. She quickly lowered the driver's seat all the way down, setting the radio to classic music before crawling her way to the back.

The middle compartment luckily went down as well, so she pulled that extended seat out as she made herself comfortable against the back seat with her legs sprawled out across the driver's.

The passenger door was suddenly pulled open, a familiar head of raven hair appearing as Percy made his way into the seat. Confusion flashed across his features momentarily, he had been sure Amara had chosen the F150, until he noticed her converses near the pedals and her body laying across the driver and back seats.

"What you listening too?" He asked, giving a soft smile as he too adjusted the passenger seat to fall all the way back. He made his way towards her, plopping down besides her as he stretched his legs across the passenger seat.

"Just some classics," she answered, unknowingly edging herself closer to the warmth his body radiated compared to her freezing one. He seemed to notice the small action, resisting a smile as he held up a blanket.

"The others took the rest, unfortunately there was only this left. So we're gonna have to share it."

She raised her brow at him, causing the Jackson boy to immediately stumble over his words as he felt he came off too bold and demanding. "Wait—I didn't—Amara I swear—I mean only if you want too—It's not like that—"

Laughter escaped her lips, causing Percy's face to redden even more as she leaned herself onto him slightly to grab the blanket from his hand. Wordlessly, she spread the blanket over their legs before slightly pulling it up to their torso's.

"Relax, Seaweed Brain." She teased, leaning herself against the cold window. She got comfortable almost immediately, an amused grin still twisted onto her lips. "I know what you mean."

It was quite between the two for a moment, him finally moving to get comfortable while Amara stayed unmoving. "Are you comfortable?" He randomly asked, but was met with silence as he realized the brunette had fallen asleep already. A small smile graced his lips, before he softly shook his head at her antics and made himself comfortable before falling into a deep slumber as well.
