this topic makes me very mad. why are you burning the flag that so many people fought for? you're basically saying, "Fuck you, America." and i know that this country isn't at its best right now, but that does not give you the right to burn the flag that soldiers i know fought and died for, was wrapped in, was given to me as a symbol of their bravery and commitment in keeping this country safe.

so no, i don't see it as a protest. i see it as being disrespectful to me, to my dead family, to my mourning family, to all american soldiers and to the america that i know can get better. stop. burning. the. flag.

with that being said, i am not shaming the black lives movement. in fact, i wish we had done this sooner. the protesting for reform, the commemorating the people who fought for black lives, supporting black owned businesses. i wish the enlightenment and the education has been brought to us sooner.

i stand with them, i support them. i'm not looking for a fight, and if you haven't read my warning, please go back now.
