SYNOPSIS !

     TAYLOR KOLE grew up in a small town where everyone knew each other. she wasn't a bad-tempered kid, but growing up the boy down the street would always rile her up. they loathed each other... until they started dating at sixteen.

soon after they became a couple, taylor's family noticed her behavior began to change. the young teen would come home with puffy eyes and red cheeks after they would hang out. soon, taylor became distant and numb to the people around her.

and at the age of nineteen, right before her twentieth birthday, they eloped. most of it had been his idea, of course. he had convinced her that if she married him, they would be happier. that their love would grow stronger by being tied together with a ring. most of taylor's family found out about the marriage quickly, but instead of a ring they saw it as a noose.

nobody could've guessed she would've divorced him at twenty-three. nobody thought she was ever going to leave him in the first place. thoughts aside, taylor was happier than ever. yes, she still grieved their relationship and their naiveness but... she knew she needed to leave.

when she finally began working at the 118, she met people who cared deeply about her. more than she had even cared about herself at the time.

so, when a new coworker who is undeniably just as stubborn as her ex-husband joins the team, everyone around watches how she reacts. also making sure she doesn't kill him.

eddie on the other hand was drawn to her. not because he liked her but because he disliked her so much. he hadn't felt this way about anyone since the mother of his kid. shannon had scorned him harder than anyone ever had, and to find a woman who was just as stubborn, was probably going to make him do things he'd regret.

but everyone around them knew, there had to be something more than hatred. there had to be.
