𝐈 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐎𝐃 𝐀𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐎𝐀𝐑𝐃𝐄𝐑 𝐎𝐅 𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐑 𝐁𝐀𝐘 I got off my bike and I was nervous, I hadn't been to the bay since Casey's funeral. After that I knew it would be too much to handle, all the memories and everyone waiting for me to go back to normal.

So I left, I took all my stuff and got on my bike leaving the bay behind. I had been living with Heath and Bianca but I outgrew the house once they had baby Rocco, I decided it was time to come home. It's not Mangrove River but Summer Bay was my home, the only thing I have to make me go back there is auntie Irene. She had been going through some troubles with her alcoholism, I helped her but I did it from outside the bay.

I hoped she'd be happy to see me again, I got back on my bike and headed towards the bay. Through my helmet I could smell the sea aroma and the sea greeting me back home, probably missing me and my surf board.

I pulled up beside the bait shop, which obviously never changed. Everything looked the same but this time it was different, my life was different and the bay evolved without me. "Struth! Am I seeing ghosts? Or is it our infamous troublemaker turned singer?" I heard a familiar gruff voice exclaim as I got off my bike,

"Nice to see you too Mr Stewart, how's it going?" I hugged him, "Not bad, it's been years since I last saw you. You look well Sadie J, what brings you back?" He asked me and I smiled "I came to see my aunt, I'm guessing she's in the usual place?" He nodded and smiled again, "Yup, you know what place, I'll see you around"

I got to the diner and it hadn't changed a bit, still the same layout and of course Irene still had the burger phone I got her for a joke.

"What can I get- Oh my god father! Sadie Jade?!" Aunt Irene gasped and I chuckled, "It's me, your favourite niece" Irene came running out from behind the counter and hugged me I smiled at her, "I see you kept the burger phone although you told me it was flaming cheek" I laughed at the memory and she chuckled "I guess it grew on me, so how's Bianca and Heath?" She asked me as we found a table to sit at.

"Their good, got little Rocco and I decided it was time I came home. I didn't wanna out stay my welcome" I told her and she placed a hand on mine, "Love, I know it's hard coming back after.. you know and if you need anywhere to stay, you know where my door is" she smiled and that's when I squinted my eye "Is it open right now?" I asked and she laughed,

"Of course it is! You silly girl, I'll never ever turn my niece away. Go and unpack, I'll bring dinner home after work"

I dropped my stuff off at Irene's house, which was still the same as it was before. She even kept my old room, I forgot how many memories I had here. Some were with Casey but also my little brother Jett, who I still can't believe is in the army now.

I laid back on my old bed and I found my old 'No doubt' CD and put it in my stereo and it was like I was fifteen again. I felt happy, I was finally home.

Finally back in Summer Bay.
