"Ayyy Seonghwa! Got no one to give a message to today?" A firm thump on his shoulder had Seonghwa out of his thoughts. Seonghwa blinks multiple times before looking up to see San staring at him concerned. "Seonghwa you alright?" San voices out his concerns. "Ah-yeah San. I'm alright just got spaced out. What did you need?" Seonghwa asks forcing a smile up his face, trying not get San suspicious.
He had been spacing out alot since morning over anything and everything but he isn't sure about things anymore. "Well I just came to check on you. You didn't seem really fine." San mumbles softly before his eyes catch on the white envelope on Seonghwa's cubicle wall still hanging in its place. "Well I guess I'll leave you to your work. You haven't even checked the envelope today." San turns with a not so satisfied face with whatever happened a while ago but decided not to push the other.
Seonghwa sighs watching the other leave before his eyes fall upon the envelope on his cubicle wall. It's been almost an hour since he arrived at work yet he didn't even bother touching the white smooth paper. Groaning a little at himself Seonghwa tears the envelope away from the wall a rather little aggressively before opening it and inverting it. He needed to get his thoughts away from his mind and get it set to work.

Fingers working continuously on the keyboard YeoSang continues watching the display reflect back the working of his hands. He had been, as usual, typing his life out only to erase it or tear apart the scribbles on his paper into trash balls on the room floor but currently he wasn't really sure if he was going to improve anywhere on this habit. It was already evening and for some reason he could feel the temperature go a little up than usual. His room window though closed was doing great in failing against the wind's impact on its glass as it not only helped wind escape the window gaps but also started making slight clattery noises now.
YeoSang could feel the wind entering his room through those window gaps tingle his neck into slight back shivers until he heard the door bell. Still not bothering with it, YeoSang continued typing until he heard it again. Getting a little frustrated, YeoSang yanked off his glasses off his nose before muttering with gritted teeth. "What's wrong with Seonghwa today?!" YeoSang walks out of his room and towards the apartment door and opens it with a frustrated groan. "Seonghwa stop messing-" His words however, stop midway at who he finds at the door.
Slight to extreme shock YeoSang composes himself from wide eyed to closed mouth and nervously mutters. "Mom...Dad." YeoSang wasn't anywhere near delighted by their sudden and unexpected visit. "Where are your manners YeoSang? Won't you let us in?" A deep but rough voice from a rather uninterested looking man was directed right at YeoSang as he immediately grows a little stuff at it before moving away with a small stutter. "Y-yeah dad." YeoSang let's them in and keeps his eyes down slightly.
His dad notices it though before erupting out in a big laugh surprising YeoSang. "I'm sorry I scared you." He muttered but YeoSang didn't seem to be much effected either way as he just nods before his mother interrupts. "Aww Sangie! You've gotten so thin. You haven't eaten anything, have you?" YeoSang looks at her but before he could answer her mother grabs his hand forces him to sit down on couch in the living room. "Sit here I will make you something right away-" "Mom no! I was actually going to get something when you came. Don't worry I will just eat what Seonghwa made this morning." He muttered forcing a small smile at her.
"You still live with him?" Now was his mother's turn to question. YeoSang blinked twice before replying with slight unsatisfaction to his tone. "Mom how many times do I have to tell you there's nothing wrong with him?" YeoSang questions rolling his eyes when YeoSang's father interrupts. "What's so right about him either? But whatever as long as he isn't influencing you." His father makes a slight disgusted face before it returned to his normal expressionless face while his mother looks at YeoSang with concerned eyes telling she still wasn't so happy with him living with Seonghwa.
YeoSang couldn't help but feel sick of hearing such tone from his parents. He hated it. YeoSang hated that his parents dropped by here without a notice and wished Seonghwa wouldn't arrive back just yet. He doesn't want something nonsense to occur. "Mom, Dad you must be getting late, right?" YeoSang tried to push them into leaving what seemed an hour and half past their visit here at the apartment.
"Aww no we are not. We still want to spend time with you anyway." His mother cooed while turning to his father who nodded with a small smile. That's when he heard the front door click open and slam shut. "Sangie! You ate your food or not? I swear I will break your computer if you haven't-" Seonghwa ended up surprised and statued in his track when his eyes fell on the couple in front of him. Seonghwa blinked multiple before coming back to his senses before he nervously smiled slightly, bowing down. "Hello Mr and Mrs. Kang." He greeted them but his greeting was more or less ignored and instead he heard a really familiar word roll through his mom's tongue.
"Sangie your roommate still suffers from that di?" She questioned YeoSang as if Seonghwa wasn't even there to begin with. Seonghwa couldn't even utter anything back in his defense. Seonghwa could feel his insides tearing up at those words. He couldn't stand hearing it again from them. He couldn't stand another possibility of people making him wrong. He wasn't some kid who caught from disease to be fixed. He was a grown up man who knew what he is.
"Mom! What's wrong with you-" "So you'll talk back to your mom now son? We should leave I guess then." YeoSang's Dad spoke back in his rough tone giving Seonghwa a disgusted looked before he and his mother got up until Seonghwa interrupted them. His sockets were slightly pooling with his salty water droplets threatening to get under gravity's spell and descend his cheeks but he was stronger to let them as he muttered in a cracked voice. "Please stay, it's not right for you to leave when you came to see your son. As for me- I'll just go somewhere else for tonight."
"Seonghwa-" "Sangie, it's your parents. They want to spend time with you." Seonghwa mutters before smiling softly and turning around and leaving through the main door. As soon as he left the building, he started walking. Every single step felt tired yet fast paced to nowhere in particular until his feet ended up dragging him to the subway.
On the other hand, YeoSang didn't seem in a really great mood but couldn't speak back a single thing to his parents. As a result he didn't speak much in his replies afterwards not that he ever got to speak much in the first place. He just wanted time to pass away as soon as possible and them to leave which didn't seem to be getting happening real soon.
Seonghwa had been staring at his phone screen, his fingers roaming over his contacts, a particular new one to be exact. He needed someone to make him forget what exactly happened a while ago. And maybe he was going to forget what happened last night to forget what happened a while ago cause now that he thinks the best of all is to forget. If he wants to be happy, he needs to forget.
Seonghwa nods to himself and taps the new number before pulling his phone up to his ear. The ringing was clear as if Seonghwa's ears were currently sensitive to even the most distant musical notes as well. A soft click and Seonghwa could hear loud music busking from behind. Seonghwa's lips twitched into a small flutter of seconds-guest smile. 'Ayo! Seonghwa! Sup?' Seonghwa could feel the harsh grip on his shoulders from last night resurface his skin for a second sending shivering goosebumps all over his body.
"I'm good. You're at the usual one?" Seonghwa mutters softly making Mingi strain his ears over the loud music in the background before he grinned. He could feel his way building out itself right now. 'Yeah I am!' Seonghwa sighed before nodding to himself yet again before muttering "Good, see you there." and hanging up. Seonghwa was going to spend a long night ahead.
