πΌππ·πΌπ π΄ πΊππΌππΈπ π πΈπ ended up in a restaurant. Her day was as boring as ever as she combed her fingers through her hair.
She sat at a table placing her purse on her lap as she read through the menu, ordering mozzarella sticks and cheesecake getting a smile from the waiter.
She didn't hate social interaction, she more or so liked it. But she did hate stupid people, hence the reason she stayed away from the whole school.
A loud cheer came from a booth away catching her attention for a sec, a familiar girl live streaming with a group of boys who didn't look familiar whatsoever.
Then she caught a hold of that awfully annoying voice and hummed.
Demetrius Alexopoulos.
Her closest and only friend who often flirted with her and would immediately get shut down.
She then tuned out their loud voices and eyed her food, smiling at the young waiter gracefully and giving him a small thank you as she put her phone to the side and dug in.
The mozzarella sticks having the perfect amount of her stretch ultimately has made her day, and not to mention the crunch.
She felt eyes boaring into the back of her head making her shamelessly turn around to face a boy who immediately looked away.
When turning back she was inches away from Demetri's face who tried to jump scare her, failing instantly when she just blinked, pushed his face away nearly poking his eye out with her nails and continued eating her cheesecake.
"Demetrius."
"Oh come on, not even a flinch!" He whined, she moved her plate of food closer to her ignoring the offended look the boy gave her.
"I wasn't going to eat your food!?"
"Your eyes said otherwise." He frowned and glanced behind Indira. She heard him sigh in defeat and glanced behind her. "Did you go to the competition?"
She looked at the boy with a raised eyebrow. "The one where Jacob elordi and Michael Jordan were fighting over me?" Demetri rolled his eyes and gave her a look.
"That's never gonna happen."
"Neither is you with yasmine, at least one is more realistic." His smile dropped as a small hidden one raised from her lips, she took a sip of her Dr pepper and crossed her arms leaning back. "Aren't you supposed to be with your little brother."
"....little brother?"
"The nerdy one."
"Oh! Eli?"
"Sure, Ellie."
"Yeah he's...." His eyebrows furrowed looking behind her, her posture turning into a hunch as his eyes saddened.
"You look like a crying possum, did you have an accident again."
He kicked her under the table only to get a sharp kick to the knee making him hiss. "That was one time! Stop talking about it!"
She rolled her eyes and went back to eating the last of her cheesecake. Demetri's sighing making her look up as he looked behind him, frantically standing up.
"I-I have to go, I'll see you later okay!" More of a remark than a question waiting to be answered as he raced out of the building as to the car that had almost left without him.
She adjusted the buttons on her top, unbuttoning one more before messing with her large hoops for a moment as she heard a small sniffle.
The sniffles are getting louder and louder making them hard to ignore. She aggressively turned around, fork loudly dropping on the plate as she finished her cheesecake and turned to see the same boy crying while staring at his phone.
"What's got your panties in a twist that your crying sounds like it's being broadcasted to the whole world."
He immediately wiped his tears away at the sound of her voice and looked at the girl, redness taking over his cheeks making her eyebrow raise.
"I was not crying." She then turned her whole body around and looked at the boy with a scoff. "Then why do your eyes look you just took 10 blinkers."
Those eyes of his rolled as he avoided her gaze, packing up his stuff. "You get broken up with." More of a statement than a question made her smile as she saw his reaction, his jaw clenching wiping his eye once more.
"I don't wanna talk about anything."
"Scared you'll spill all your deepest darkest secrets?"
She heard him make a small sound as he held onto the table while getting down. "Am I getting on your nerves?" She said with a smile on her face.
Hand under her chin as she sat back in her booth normally, she watched as he started walking away and turned back around, no playful looks on his face. "You are."
"Do you like making people's nights worse."
"I've been told I make people's nights."
His eyes looked her up and down, something it looks like he's done before making her head tilt. "I'll take a picture for you, it'll last longer." She held out her hand, it being the possible placement for his phone to which he glared at and turned around heading for the door.
Indira unlike the boy who was stomping away laughed, this whole interaction making her night as she took out money for her food. Eyes glancing at the boy once more only to realize he was standing right in front of her. "Still want a picture, I'll happily give you one?"
She saw some amusement flash in his eyes but it immediately disappeared making her adjust her jeans as she stood up. "You're a bitch, you know that?"
"First time using a cuss word I see." She saw his hand clench onto his jeans in anger at her comment to which she smiled. Why was it so fun to anger him? It was fueling her energy which she knew she shouldn't have been doing.
The boy looked like he was talking to himself in his head as he unclenched his hand and instead ran it through his head and grasped at it turning away. Her words clearly got to him in his sad time of breaking up.
Indira however twirled a piece of her hair watching him leave and smiled, what a wonderful night. But it dropped realizing she was out of energy and huffed, handing the money to the waiter and glancing around the restaurant, hand slapping her low-rise jeans as she realized she was the last one.
Being the last one, she made sure to tip well and left the place, mind wondering at the interaction with the boy. Her mom told her to stop making unnecessary drama with anyone who annoyed her, her father told her it was in her genes and to do it with grace.
So she shrugged and went to her car, her car she clearly wasn't completely legal to drive yet and closed the door leaning her head back in the seat with her eyes closed.
But when she opened them, she lost her shit.
A large crack from a footprint making her mind immediately draw back to the boy.
Her jaw clenched as she raced out of there with one face on her mind the rest of the night.
That face never left her mind front that night on.

INDIRA was not about to get in trouble because of a boy. So when she got home she had immediately told her dad who was surprisingly home that a tree branch fell on top of her car and he cursed out the trees in their yard before messing up her hair and calling the auto shop.
She glared at her ceiling as she laid in her hello kitty pajamas, arms crossed as she laid on top of her covers staring at her ceiling.
Face bare with curled lashes as she grabbed her phone aggressively and pressed Instagram. Her nails tapped along the screen as she went to her Spotify and pressed her destiny's child playlist before continuing to Instagram.
She had clicked on Demetri's Instagram which has very few follows, which meant the boy from earlier had to be following. Hence she had seen demetri glance at him very few times, and his group talking to the ass kisser.
She chuckled at the nickname she gave from the boy earlier. Her own jokes knew how to make her laugh.
But her laugh stopped when her phone screen turned black making her throw the phone to the side and turn over on her stomach and...
She screamed into her pillow and turned her face to the side huffing.
Maybe Just maybe she shouldn't have provoked the boy. But it was too fun not too, and he was obviously friends with the scrawny boy. He couldn't have been much less threatening than he was perceived as.
Giggling at her thoughts once more she sat up to plug her phone in and hummed, tucking her hair behind her ear and glanced at her phone quickly turning on instead of stalking for the night, she had turned on her sleeping playlist and laid back down.
No complaining from any adults as they were all out making her sigh. The teen girl wished she could purposely annoy her family from time to time, but what can you do, at least she wasn't held captive inside her own home.

"INDIRA!" a girl yelled. Her smile lighting up and she removed herself from the splits, brown hair shining as she ran to the shorter girl embracing her into a hug.
Moon. Someone else Indira thought of as a friend.
The girl was one of the first people she had met when moving to Los Angeles and didn't regret it, minus when she tried getting her to go with her group places.
"How are you! I haven't seen you in so long?"
An amused smile came upon the girl's face, her aura changing as the incident of last night floated to the back of her mind grabbing moon's hand and interlocking them. "I saw you a week ago, moon."
"A week too long!" Moon skipped in front of her with a giggle telling the squad behind her something while pulling Indira along into the small complex of stores. "You look so pretty Indy, i can't." Moon said fanning herself.
Indira playfully twirled a piece of her hair and pretended to faint. "I think I'm falling in love."
The girls giggled as they then stood in front of a small store, moon dropped her hand and moved her finger in a circle. Indira did a 360 and placed her hands on her hips when done.
"I swear I need your wardrobe. It's so not fair." She helped readjust the latinas laced top and moved the left side of her hair onto her shoulder and smiled.
"You know...."
The Gutierrez teen crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow, moon putting her arm around Indira's neck and continued walking. "You should hang out with me and Sam.."
"Who."
Moon shook her head and gave her a friendly side eye confused. "Sam Larusso?"
"Is he hot?"
"Samantha Larusso!" In all reality Indira had no idea who that was and just knocked down the idea to which moon's smile turned into a frown.
"She could really use more girl friends. Her and her boyfriend just broke up, and they were so close." Moon shook her head with a saddened look as the girl holding onto the hand over her shoulder tilted her head.
"Who's the unlucky guy?"
"Don't be mean Indira." She slightly raised her hands in a teasing manor but asked the question again. "Who's the ex? Kayler?"
"Kyler?"
"Yeah, him!"
"No, it's Miguel Diaz." Moon paused there walk and glanced at the girl. "Don't you love drama, how do you not know about the whole situation?"
"Who said I love drama?"
Now moon was the one who crossed her arms, a knowing look and her face giving the slightly shorter girl a look. Rolling her eyes, Indira sighed.
"Fine, I do I love drama. It keeps life interesting."
Mine then grabbed the girls hand as they began walking again, passing the little shops and heading to the frozen yogurt shop they had gone together once before. "Will you consider hanging out with us anytime this month?"
"A month? That's generous."
"You take forever to make decisions, I'm lucky if I even get an answer." Indira ignored that remark and walked into the frozen yogurt shop, giving the older lady working their a short smile as they headed over to grab cups. Indira happily took the largest one following after moon.
"Tell me more about Miguel Diaz."
Moon however thought her saying his name was funny. Indira glanced over to the girl as she got her dark chocolate frozen yogurt heading over to the toppings. "What?"
Moon chucked as she put strawberries inside her cup, Indira doing the same as she bumped hips with moon in response. "You actually said his name right?"
"I say everyone's name right?" Said a confused indira putting loads of chocolate onto her frozen yogurt, adding more strawberries to make it seem healthy and headed for the cash register.
"You called me mona the first time we met."
"I was mis-informed!" They weighed the frozen yogurt and Indira gave the money paying for both grabbing moon's hand as she smiled at the older lady. "You called Kyler kayler!"
"Am I supposed to care about him?" Moon thought for a second as they went to sit outside the shop, at a red table with a red and white umbrella over the top, Indira placed her red purse on the table and looked to moon. "Now that I think about it, he's not really important."
The girl's bracelets jingled on her wrist before tapping the table a couple of times. "Exactly!"
Moon smiled again, the most smiling she's done in a while as she took a bit of her frozen yogurt, some peanut butter being in the mix as her eyes slightly furrowed. "Why do you wanna know about Miguel?"
Arms shrugged as she rearranged her hair. "Like you said, drama."
Moon hummed and leaned forward slightly, Indira on the other hand smiled as she ate her frozen yogurt knowing how much moon loves talking drama, especially whenever the two were together, it was nonstop.
"What happened to your car by the way?" Indira faked laugh and waves that question off.
Moon was a exceptionally nice person, didn't like causing fuel to the fire, but Indira did, and she knew if this was the guy, she could ruin his whole year by Knowing his weaknesses.
Oh how much fun it would be.
Especially since she usually stayed out of everything, so if she would be blamed out of the blue she would easily get out of it.
So while moon easily got lost in her talking, she unlocked her phone and went to her notes app, taking notes and nodding her head ever so often.
Many emotions had gone over in the last hour, from shock to annoyance. Smiling to rolling their eyes is what has occured, Indira hated how amusing this was for her.
But Everytime his name was said her smile dropped and thoughts were brought back to her broken windshield with a very obvious mans footprint stomped into her windshield.
So she sat back, taking in all the info.
His weaknesses, what made him strong, who he kept himself around, who he lived with, his sad love life with Samantha Larusso, lastly a karate winner?
Indira however hadn't seen that one coming, eyebrows raising causing wrinkles to form on her forehead, disbelief occuring to belief he was in karate.
A shock really.
Indira personally thought he'd cry if he was pushed off the swing, even at 16. Seemed like he used his emotions in every situation instead of hiding.
So she began her plan.
And to start off with it, she left moon leaving her with a long hug and kiss to the cheek, leaving with a malice look in her eyes as she went home.
Every bone in her body determined to get her revenge, in a sorta legal way of course. This wasn't pretty little liars, but the thought has most definitely crossed her mind.
And her first stop in her upcoming plan was the one and only Samantha Larusso.
AN - how do we feel about the book so far? Do we like Indira? Should she murder Miguel Diaz???
