" BYEOLA. "

Bae Byeol, known as Byeola is an infamous sasaeng fan of BlackPink's Mia. She's known for her delusive and obsessive behavior towards Mia, as she constantly invades her privacy and take close-up photos.

Byeola is known by the Blinks, including the other fandoms of the K-Pop community for her crazy and psychotic actions. Mia herself knows about her and has expressed her disappointment in her actions. She once spoke about it in an interview saying,

❝ I thought I was gonna die. She was on top of me choking me and holding a knife and I was thinking 'okay, that's it, I'm gonna die'. Everything became blurry after that. ❞

Keep in mind that Byeola is NOT a bad person. She was once a fan, supporting Mia by sending her love and appreciation and attending her concerts. A sweet 17-year-old girl who wanted nothing but to feel loved. It was never Byeola's intention to hurt her nor develop any sorts of sasaeng behavior, but something changed when she got the opportunity to meet her backstage.

But let's rewind and go back to where it all began: 2014 was truly a good year for Mia. From having starred in a lot of movies and TV-shows to being a global ambassador for Dior was the outbreak and the start of her fame and a new chapter.

Mia became very popular in Asia. She got herself a name and her fanbase was born, and Byeola became one of them. After a year and a half, Byeola got a ticket to one of her concerts.

The day arrived and Byeola stood at the line, excitedly waiting to meet one of her role models. After waiting for almost an hour, it was finally her turn. Mia stood there, smiling brightly at the newbie and opened her arms. "Hello, sweetie, how are you?" Byeola's heart fluttered and shyly ran into her arms, "I'm such a big fan! I love you so much, Miri." She murmured into her neck, holding her tight.

They spent fifteen minutes talking before Byeola's time was over. Ever since that moment, Byeola wanted to get to know her more and also befriend her.

She didn't want to be known as her fan, but something more. So she started to find personal information about Mia, and she even got a ticket to the same flight as her, sitting behind the actress without her knowing.

Her first ever attempt of meeting her succeeded!

Her second attempt started to get disturbing and a little too far. After hearing the news about Mia getting accepted into YG Entertainment and planning her debut, Byeola tried for months to get into the company and search for a job in hopes of seeing her again.

Unfortunately that didn't work out, but Byeola was smart and somehow found a way inside the YG building. Apparently, Byeola happened to bump into one of the staff members and stole their ID-card.

The newbie searched for every corner and rooms to find a glimpse of the Japanese beauty. There was one room she didn't discover yet, which was the practice room. Mia, Jennie and Lisa were having a break when the door suddenly opened, revealing Byeola's figure.

The newbie sprinted towards Mia and wrapped her arms around her neck, squeezing her tight. "Miri! It's me Byeola! I've missed you so much!" The younger female told her with enthusiasm.

Mia could only let out a gasp as she tried to pull away from her grasp. Jennie and Lisa quickly ran over to Mia while trying to get the teenager off from her, "Hey, let go of her!" Jennie spat out, pulling Byeola's hands off her body.

"Don't touch me! I'm trying to hug her!" Byeola whined while trying to move out of Lisa's hold.

Mia frowned and crossed her arms in front of her chest, "How did you even get here?" she asked her with a slight panicky tone while her heart beat was racing.

Byeola let out a giggle, "I stole someone's ID-card. Don't you remember me? It's me Byeola from the meet and greet! I'm so happy to see you again." She expressed, shrugging off Lisa's hand.

Mia swallowed a lump in her throat, "I-I'm sorry, I-I don't remember you. You can't be here, B-Byeola." she croaked out, standing beside Jennie.

"You're sick! I'm gonna call security." Lisa said and grabbed Byeola by the arm, but the newbie let out a scream, "No! Let go of me! I haven't even said anything to her yet!" She fought back with a sob.

"This is crazy." Jennie mumbled, worriedly looking at Mia, who was having a hard time taking everything in.

Luckily the security came in and took Byeola out of the practice room. "I love you, Miri, forever, and I will always be with you." she said before they closed the door.

Thinking this was the end? This is just the beginning.

Ever since her failed mission, Byeol became very disappointed in herself and wanted to do better to get Mia's attention, and it couldn't get any worse: Byeol still went to the same flight as her, went to the same bar and even saw her at the restrooms, admiring her from the bathroom stalls.

Byeola became a hot topic and was listed one of the scariest sasaengs in Korea for her obsessive and crazy behavior. Mia hadn't met her ever since the incident that happened back in 2015 and didn't bother as she was focusing on her debut.

Bae Byeol was well hidden from the society and formed herself a different identity. Nobody could recognize her since she changed her appearance completely.

But it was this one incident that went way too far. 2016, the year of BlackPink's debut. Byeola somehow found her dorm and let herself inside and took pictures of sleeping Mia without getting caught. She posted them on Twitter and received a huge backlash for her inappropriate and creepy actions and immediately went for her, completely cancelling and reporting her.

Blinks, other fandoms included, lost their minds and went on a searching spree to talk things out with the infamous Byeola. It was utterly disgusting and fans became angry of her behavior and wanted to protect Mia, but Byeola's response didn't go well.

To prove her love and admiration for Mia, she cut herself writing 'I LOVE YOU' on her left arm and posted it on her Twitter account. She also posted a picture of herself inside a bathroom, fans quickly making assumption that she was in Mia's bathroom.

K-Pop Twitter stans went overboard and quickly took actions by tweeting and sending messages to YG and the girls' social medias. Luckily Rosé, found about the sasaeng and went to the company to warn everyone to be careful.

With Byeola's different appearance, nobody could recognize her. With short hair, green eye contacts and a few changes on her face, she was unrecognizable. She had another plan, which was trying to get inside the YG company, again.

Creating a fake ID-card for herself, she was let in and found herself inside the girls makeup room where she saw a staff member preparing the girls' clothes. "Do I know you?" a staff member asked the suspicious girl, eyebrows raised as she studied her.

Byeola cleared her throat, "Yes. I'm new here!" she lied as she gave her a smile, which made the staff questioning.

"I've never seen you around. Most of the new staff members aren't allowed to be here yet. Show me your ID-card, please." she told Byeola as she brought her hand up, making a movement signaling her to show her identity card.

Byeola rolled her eyes and cockily handed over her card. The staff sighed and studied her ID. Byeola held a cloth on her right hand and grabbed her by the neck and drugged her. The staff tried to scream, but Byeola's grip was stronger. She fell down the floor with a thud. She became unconscious and she checked her pulse. Nodding at herself, she left the room and locked the door.

Mia drank her coffee while getting her hair done, humming to BTS' I Need U. Rosé leaned against the door and looked at Mia with a guilty look. It's been a month since the news broke out about Byeola's plan to get her and it destroyed her completely. She talked about it with the girls', excluding Mia, since she didn't want to bring up the sensitive topic, but it will eventually get out.

"Stop staring, Rosie, it's getting creepy." Jisoo whispered into her ear. Rosé jumped and held her chest, "You scared me, Unnie." she breathed out, closing her eyes, feeling her heart rate.

Jisoo sighed, "I know what you're thinking, but let's not bring this up when everyone's here, okay? We have a big concert coming up." Jisoo explained with a gentle tone.

Rosé nodded and exhaled, "You're right. Everything will be okay." she said to herself, completely oblivious of Byeola standing behind her, watching her with a cold glare.

"Uh, Miyeon-ssi?" Mia read her name tag with a soft chuckle.

Byeola grinned and nodded her head, "That's my name, how can I help you, Miss?" the younger female acted out with a bright smile, talking in a deep tone.

Mia smiled at her attitude, "I was just wondering if you could help me with picking an outfit at the wardrobe room?" she kindly asked her with a polite smile.

"Yes! Of course! Follow me!" she said before grabbing her hand and bringing her inside the room. Mia let out a gasp as she squeezed her hand a little too tight.

"Now, let's see what we've got in store!" Byeola sang and took a look at the clothes.

Mia shook her head and let out a chuckle, "You always full of energy?" she asked her while picking up an outfit. Byeola let out a giggle, "That I am, Miri, always full of energy." She answered calmly, leaving her normal voice.

Mia's smile faded at the nickname. Adrenaline flew over her veins and her heart dropped. She didn't move a single muscle, not even a sound. "You think this fits you, Mia?" she asked while looking through the drawers.

Mia slowly turned her body towards her, "Who the fuck are you?" she let out, hot tears threating to fall. Byeol smirked and laughed, "I knew you would recognize me! See? We're meant to be, Miri!" she said as she walked closer to the actress with a grin.

"Stay back! Don't come closer, Byeol!" She yelled out, her angry eyes staring into hers.

Byeola frowned, "I'm not here to hurt you, Unnie! You don't remember me-"

"Fuck you, Bae Byeol, stay back!" Mia badgered with a sharp stare, pointing a finger at her.

Byeola's face hardened and growled, "Why can't you accept my love for you?! I came here for YOU and now you're betraying me." she argued, holding a small pocket knife behind her back.

"I will scream."

Byeola burst out in laughter, "Go on, they won't hear you."

Mia's eyes widened as she took out a pocket knife behind her, "You know I even cut myself to prove how much I love you. And this is what I get?" Byeola fumed as she slowly walked towards her, with Mia backing away till se hit the wall.

"The fans even started to call me names. They called me a psychopath." she said with a laugh. "And I said I would show them what a psychopath is." She said sinisterly pulling up the knife, pointing it towards her.

The absolute horror completely paralyzed her, and the more she thought about running away and or simply moving a slightest bit, made her utterly terrified. "Y-You're c-c-crazy." she stuttered out as Byeola stood in front of her, dangerously close with the knife against her neck.

Byeola could only let out a giggle, "Am I?"

Every time Byeola spoke, it angered her even more, and she snapped. Mia lunged forward and grabbed the knife, knocking her to the ground. Everything became blurry as her fist slammed into Byeola's face while she kicked her stomach, knocking her to the floor. Byeola went on top of her and strangled her. Her hands were grasping her throat, leaving her without any air.

Mia's shaky fingers, clawed at her hands and tried to pull it off, but she was way stronger. She went to look for something beside her and felt the cold metal against her hand and went for it and smacked her hard in the head. Byeola yelled out in pain and fell down beside her, holding her bleeding forehead.

And Mia screamed. She used her last breath for screaming for help and painfully got up on her feet. "Help! Jisoo, Lisa!" she shrieked and tried to run towards the door but Byeola pulled her down by the leg.

"Jennie, Rosé, anyone-" she covered her mouth and slapped her across the face and hit her head on the floor by holding her throat. "Shut up!" Byeola growled while finding her knife.

"Where is she?" Jennie asked everyone as she took on her shoes. It's been thirty minutes and haven't heard from Mia, which left the others a worried mess.

"I don't know, she left off with Miyeon-ssi to help her with the outfit." A staff member answered before opening the closet, only to meet with a heavy pull and saw a body suddenly falling down the floor.

She let out a scream, "Hyerin, oh my God!" The staff cried as she checked her pulse, gently slapping her cheeks to wake her up. The girls gasped and ran over to her, scared of their minds.

"She's alive don't worry." she comforted everyone, wiping her tears and checked her body. "What happened to her?" they asked each other, carrying Hyerin to the emergency room.

"Something's fishy, I know it!" Rosé said out loud to her members with a scared expression.

Jisoo scoffed, "Would you please forget about the whole Byeola thing? She's not here, Mia's fine-" a loud thud erupted the walls and Rosé clinged onto Lisa.

"Jennie, Rosé, anyone-"

"Guys, Mia!" Jennie said before sprinting upstairs to the wardrobe room, and also calling security. The girls quickly followed her actions and looked for her.

"I should just kill you. My love is not good enough for you, huh?" Byeola gloomed, still sitting on top of her, holding both of her hands, sadly looking down at her.

Mia spitted out blood, coughing while leaning her head to the side, "Just kill me, Byeola, you'll be doing me a favor." she weakly croaked out, breathing heavenly.

Byeola pouted and shook her head, "But that would be easy, Miri, think of something else. Oh, I know! How about you and I be best friends and we can just forget about this whole stalking thing?" She nicely asked her, smiling.

"Never." she replied and kicked her stomach. Mia slammed her head into her as the younger female fell down on her back, screaming. Stars burst into her vision and went on top of her, holding her down. "I am sick and tired of your fucking mess and I want you gone!" she yelled out punching her face.

Byeola laughed, "Is that all you got?" she said before flipping her over.

"No." Mia sassed and grabbed the metal pole and smashed it on her head, creating a loud sound. Lisa and Jennie opened the door and screamed, "Mia, oh my God, a-are you okay?" The girls burst into to tears as they saw her member beaten up.

Mia held out a hand, "D-Don't- stay back!" she warned them.

"The police are on their way, Mia!"

Mia groaned in pain and turned around to Byeola only to feel a fierce pain on her abdomen as she stabbed her in the stomach. "MIA, NO!" Jennie cried and tried to ran towards her but was stopped by the police officers who held the girls and brought them to the ambulance car.

Mia let out a painful scream. A police officer knocked Byeola to the ground and handcuffed her, having their knee on her head. Mia fell down the floor and held her stomach, poking up blood. The paramedics ran over to her and picked her up, laying her down on the stretcher. A nurse checked her eye sight and gently held her hand, "Hey, sweetheart, can you hear me?" her soft tone filled her ear.

"Mia's hurt, she's hurt, please let me see her, I-I- please." Jisoo sobbed into her managers chest. The staff and everyone who worked there got out of the company for everyone's safety and started to inspect the area.

Sharping pain lanced through her body and she bit her lip to prevent herself from crying. She could only nod her head and tried to grab the nurse's hand.

Byeola got arrested and got banned from seeing the daylight ever again.

After that incident, YG Entertainment took actions and made strict measures and rules for getting inside the company and spoke out the horrible incident, explaining that it was a scary experience for everyone and that they will take legal action for her safety and her protection, also apologizing to Mia for not doing their job properly.

Luckily, Mia didn't get badly injured. Byeola didn't pull the blade deep into her organs, only created a scar. She was sent to the hospital to check her physical state and also her mental health. She got diagnosed with PTSD (Post-traumatic stress disorder), which is a disorder that occur in people who experience or witness a traumatic event.

She got a year break from the spotlight to let her heal and recover. After the news broke, the fans, mostly the Korean netizen were in shock and were left heartbroken. All they could do was to show the group and Mia the love and support she needed.

Bae Byeol, a seventeen-year old sasaeng who were feared and threatened by the K-Pop community and found not guilty of her illegal actions and obsessive behavior towards BlackPink member Mia.

Out of all the sasaengs Mia has faced so far, Byeola was one of the memorable and never forgotten sasaengs of all time, and is still healing from this day.
