Chapter five,

don't hang up the phone

โ–‚โ–‚โ–‚โ–‚โ–‚โ–‚โ–‚โ–‚โ–‚โ–‚โ–‚โ–‚โ–‚โ–‚

She was currently occupying the bathroom with herself sitting on the cold hard surface of the bathroom floor and just pulling her hair up into a low bun, pulling a little of her hair strands down for a very cute look. She felt so damn fucking nauseous from all of the drinking she's done tonight.

ย ย  She probably shouldn't of been drowning herself into piles of liquor, but her feelings had just gotten the actual best of her. She had felt a damn circus of emotions, but most of all those horrible thoughts were resurfacing, it somehow always happens when she drinks this much.

"So, fucking stupid. . ." She had quietly breathed out to herself, "He's never going to like you." She was referring to herself, wiping her tears away because ever since the fucking entire commotion at the party that is slightly vague is replaying in her head, but it seems that the only thing that she can remember is her temper tantrum, that is the reasoning into why she's been ignoring him and pushing him away.

You don't deserve him. Her conscience was yelling at her, she felt her stomach twisting as a part of herself wanted to puke just hearing that in her head.

ย ย  The very sound of her phone has just immediately captured her attention, as her thoughts shook away, sniffling as she grabbed her phone and wondering who was calling her so late, but annoyance raked up into her body since it was an unknown number, though she had a rush of annoyance enter since it could possibly be another prank call.

ย ย  Davina had angrily spoke into the phone, though she sounded congested because of her crying, ""I don't have time for these fucking ass games. Quit the fucking prank calls, you little fucking shit face." She had sneered in venom, as her outburst captured the unknown caller at her vulgar words, but had then soon began to find it amusing, he had soon began to let out a hysterical laugh.

ย ย  Confusion entered her body. What the fuck was so fucking funny? She didn't really fucking understand.

ย ย  He had spoken with his voice still sounding so disoriented that had easily sent chills down her spine because it was just like earlier today when she received a similar call, "This isn't a prank call, Davina. . ." He tutted before he continued on, though she had recognized the amusement in his tone because it was so damn noticeable even for the unknown caller to be using a voice changer, "You know for being his daughter you are not intelligent." He retorted.

Though, something had then suddenly clicked into her head. The way he was just speaking to her in the damn phone, it just sounded so different, so she had then instantly blurted something out to this damn unknown caller, "You're the other one, what is this? A fucking video for you to get views out of your own amusement for scaring people?" She had spat in annoyance, and ultimately standing up from the ground.

ย ย  The unknown caller chuckled, and just speaking to her, again, "Hmm. . . maybe, you're intelligent like your daddy after all." He had simply praised her that was just pissing Davina off about the mentions of her dad, especially when she hadn't ever met her father or knows his name.

"Shut up, shut up, shut up!" She quietly yelled into the phone, she didn't really want to capture the attention of the rest of her friends or cousin.

This was her fight not theirs.

Detective Bailey had easily began having quite a blast bothering her and just finding it quite amusing on how easy it is to just have her getting triggered, and so damn easy so he had made another snide comment, "Did I hit a nerve Davina? Maybe, you should read mommy's letter instead of stashing it in your purse." He had had simply chuckled in amusement.

Davina gritted her teeth, and ultimately sneering into the phone as her eyes darkened in deep hatred, "Fuck you, I'm hanging up. You motherfucker." She had been about to hang up only for this unknown caller to yell back at her that made her flinch at the venom that was just laced in this unknown callers voice.

ย ย  He had ultimately sneered in the phone in complete venom, "Don't you hang up the fucking phone. . ." He had yelled at her that it had just easily startled her, "You're the main star to all of this, Davina not your murderous friend, but you." He taunted her.

ย ย  It was the ultimate truth because he had everything set into motion, and how all of this will play out. It'll be easy to blame all of these deaths on the daughters of two serial killers.

ย ย  Davina clenched her fists with her nails ultimately digging so hard it began to let blood trickle down into the sink, "Fuck you." She had ultimately hung up the phone, and slamming it onto the bathroom sink.

ย ย  Her head tilted down and seen the blood trickling in her hand that made her sigh in just aggravation and turning the faucet on to wash the palm of her hand, and simply just ignoring the man who was standing behind her and his eyes lingering on how distraught she was, and hadn't seen his appearance.

The bathroom had just felt so oddly quiet now after everything until she had ultimately heard a gentle knock that had made her glance upwards only to flinch when she seen a strange man beside her, "Whโ€”" The man had vanished from her very own view, especially when the person on the other side spoken to her that had given her a sense of comfort in his voice.

Chad.

He had easily softly spoken to her on the other side that had given her butterflies, "Vina, are you okay in there? I brought you, uhm some pain killers and also chamomile tea?" He was proud of himself for making his girlfriend some tea.

So cute. She thought.

ย ย  He had immediately her footsteps that were quickly heard as she had immediately opened the bathroom door, and instantly wrapped her entire arms around his entire torso, "You're so fucking warm, I felt like I had been suffocating in that bathroom." She had breathed out. He somehow kept himself steady, so he wouldn't spill the tea or bottle of pain killers that were in each of his hands.

ย ย  He easily then wrapped his entire arms around her shoulders, as she tilted her heads upwards as he had noticed the dried tears that were just staining her cheeks, "Hey, what's the matter, Vina? Why were you crying?" He gently told her since he can noticed how her face was just flushed red, and the dried tears that were on her cheeks.

ย ย  A part of him kindly hopes that it's not because of him, he wants to fix them and cut the fake relationship by admitting his actual feelings for her. He just wants to do right, and undo the stupid shit he pulled.

He just fucking hates for being the damn reason she had cried tonight. He didn't want to be the one making her cry, especially when he fucking adores her.

ย ย  Davina didn't want to speak about the bathroom incident that involves that creepy caller, especially with her friends and her cousin around, she didn't want them worrying about her.

ย ย  "I'll tell you about it later," She had simply offered him a very soft smile that he returned. A comforting silence set between them that he had gently began to speak only to then just be interrupted midway sentence, "I want to speak to you about usโ€” ". He had practically sighed in ultimate frustration that he was interrupted by his girlfriends cousin.

Though, Davina instantly felt relief because she wasn't ready for what he has to say. Fear had just entered her body that he wants to end their fake relationship.

"We'll talk later, let's go." She swallowed down her saliva and leading him towards the living room.
