THE SCHOOL BELL RANG CAUSING EVERYONE TO JUMP OUT OF THEIR SEATS AND FLOOD OUT THE DOORS. Kara only pushed her seat back and gathered her books in her arms. She started walk towards the door, she gave her teacher a small wave and thanked her. This was English class, she was at her best when she was in that class. She then she entered the abyss of the school's hallway. She arrived at her locker and gathered all her homework. She checked her phone to see endless texts from Tony, Zach and her mom. Kara mentally groaned at this, she only answered her mother's texts.

Mum: Where are you, I thought you would be at trial? It's totally fine if you didn't. See you at home xoxo

Kara: Explain later. Will be at Monet's, love ya

With that, she shoved her phone in her backpack. She slung her bag over her shoulders and strutted out of the school. Monet's wasn't far from here and Kara loved to walk in silence. She absolutely adored watching the scenery going around her. But the only con was she would have to pass through the baseball fields. Let's just say she despises the arrogant jocks who play on that field. While she was walking passed the fields, she saw a glimpse of Mr. Porter talking to the baseball team with another person beside him. "Consent must be given in words or actions." Her eyes landed on Scott who was smiling dumbfounded. "Does a scream count?" Kara's jaw slacked open. All of his teammates nudged him and laughed. But Mr. Porter wasn't taking any shit today.

"You want to be a comedian, Mr. Reed? Or you wanna play ball this year? 'Cause I can arrange that you take the season off." Scott's beautiful cerulean eyes found Kara's mocha brown. She only scolded him that he would make such a joke like that. Kara only shook his head and tore her gaze off of Scott. "I didn't think so." Mr. Porter finished. Scott watched Kara walk off, Scott felt a pang of guilt that radiated through his heart. He hung his head low as guilt surrounded him. He knew that he shouldn't have said it.

She walked passed the cheerleaders who were doing their routine. Jessica ran over to Kara and slung her arm over her shoulder. "Monet's?"

"Oh Jess, you know me too well." Kara smiled cheekily. Kara would always go out to Monet's on Wednesdays after school. The cheerleader captain, Chloe, ran up to them with a wide smile. "Jess! Kara!" She called out. "Hi, how are you guys? You both look good!"

"We're good." Jessica answered.

"Jess and Kara, it's so good to have you back! And just in time, we're starting our routine for our summer competitions and I want you two to be flyers." She explained.

"I'm out." Kara said, shaking her head. Let's just say she fallen too many times on her face while being a flyer.

"I'm going to go, bye Jess. Text ya." Kara said while she left the two girls to talk. Kara arrived at Monet's and ordered her favorite drink there which was the green tea. She pulled out her journal and started to write while she blocked the rest of society out. But she snapped out of it when she heard the clearing of someone's throat. She looks up to see the infamous Scott Reed. She gives him a lazy look. "Can I help you?"

"No- I mean yes. I was wondering if we could... like talk?" Scott questioned as he tripped over his words occasionally.

Kara only pinched her nose and sighed heavily in annoyance. Without saying a word, she gestured for him to sit down. He did so and he then scooted the chair closer to the table. Kara could feel his leg brushing against hers. "So, what do you wanna talk about?" She asked while she closed her notebook and sipped her green tea.

"I'm not like Bryce and them, I swear." He started off. "I know I'm on the baseball team and I'm friends with Bryce but I honestly think what they're doing is wrong."

"I heard you on the field, were you just trying to be funny or was that the real you?" Kara questioned while she shot him an antagonizing glare. Scott fiddled with his fingers and inhales sharply. "All my friends expect me to be someone who I am not. They always drag me into stupid shit that I don't want to do."

"But nobody dragged you in to saying that." Kara said bluntly. "Rape is a serious thing, Reed. My best friend and my own sister were victims of rape by your friend.It happened twice by the same person! That's really fucked up." Kara spat out bitterly.

"Y-You don't get it." Scott struggled to explain. "I don't know what's wrong with me. I'm sorry." With that, Scott pushed his chair back and left. Kara frowned softly, she thought: Was I too hard on him?

She shook her head and gathered her stuff. All the way when she was walking, she felt a swirl of guilt banging against her chest. She bit her lip in her anxiety. She pulled her phone out and texted Zach.

kara✨: do u have scott's number?

Kara climbed inside of her car and drove home. She grabbed her bag and checked her phone once again.

kara✨: need to apologize for some rude things

She fiddled with her fingers before she texted Scott. She wondered why she was even nervous.

scott reed: sure.

-i haven't been editing this at all guys and the transcript for 13 reasons why season 2 is shit so i kinda get lost on who says what. so this won't follow the story line in time but it is related to the story line, if that made sense??

-i am truly sorry at this crappy ass chapter. i do not like it all but i want to update everyday or try because it's summer and i have no life. 

-i want to clarify anyone who's thinking this but not commenting it. kara is bipolar, she is diagnosed with bipolar, sorry for that spoiler. i just don't want people to think that she does it on purpose. she can't help having mood swings. for example after scott left, she immediately felt guilty. she turned anger into guilt. if that made sense?? ima a confusing bean i sorry
