NO ONE P.O.V

The next day, the ride back home was silent and Jungkook was back to his old self. No smile, no emotion. Just coldness around him. Lisa would glance at the Demon Alpha from time to time but Jungkook would just look out of the window. "So... Did you uh... Enjoy meeting the kids?"

She asked, trying to start a conversation. Jungkook glances at the omega who are looking at the road. He looks forwards and shrugs "Not so bad, I guess." He answers plainly. Lisa glanced at him once again and decided to ask a question that had been playing in her head. "Big Alpha, Can I ask a question?"

"No."

Lisa pouted at the reply as Jungkook just close his eyes soon after. She huffed "I don't care, I will still ask." She mumbles "Big Alpha, you seem to open up for Aera quite fast, is there any specific reasons for it?" She ask curiously but Jungkook didn't respond to her as he keep closing his eyes and rest his head on the seat.

Seeing his lack of response, Lisa huffed once again as she continue driving. After a few seconds of silence, Jungkook slowly opens his eyes and says "That girl..." Hearing his voice, Lisa glanced at him while Jungkook looks back out of the window. "She's someone who I know in her past life."

"She's a good person."

He admits as Lisa keeps silent upon hearing his answer. "You... Can see someone's past life?" She asked as Jungkook let out a breath "Yeah... You can say that." He admits making Lisa nod. After a few moments of silence, Lisa decides to ask again.

"What kind of person am I in my past life then?" When she asked that, Jungkook slowly turn to her and stare at her face. As he stares at her, a memory flashes in his head.

"Kookie? What do you want to eat today?"

"I've baked us some cookies! Try some!"

"Be together forever? I promise!"

"You're not Jungkook! You're a monster!"

"I just hate you so much."

Lisa glanced at the Demon Alpha who are staring at her for quite a long now. "Big Alpha? Are you okay?" She asked as Jungkook look away and close his eyes once again. As he did that, he say...

"I don't know your past life, I can't see it."

"Lisa! Yah! I was so worried! Where have you been?!" Jennie asked as soon as they reach the packhouse. Seeing her unnie's worrying behavior, Lisa suddenly remember that she didn't tell them that she and Jungkook would be staying at the orphanage for one night.

The fact that she go out with Big Alpha probably had make them more worried. Lisa smile apologetically while Jungkook stood behind her. "Don't worry unnie, I keep playing with the kids yesterday that it start getting dark. We stayed for dinner and end up sleeping there for one night." Lisa explained.

Jennie glanced at Jungkook who is standing behind Lisa. She slowly nods her head and sighs. She soon forms a smile as she holds Lisa's hand "Happy 18th Birthday Lalisa!" Lisa froze upon hearing that wishes from her. It's her birthday? Right...

It's my birthday!

Lisa's eyes sparkle in realization. How can she forget her own birthday? Ah... She had been so busy these days that she forgot she was turning 18. Lisa smiled at the older "Thank you Unnie. I forgot today is my birthday." She smiles cheekily while Jennie shakes her head.

"Your father wants to make a celebration tonight," Jennie inform as Lisa nodded. She turns around wanting to ask Jungkook to join the celebration but to her dismay, the male is no longer behind her. She look around trying to search for him but he was nowhere to be seen.

"Where did he go?"

Jungkook walks inside the forest at the back of the packhouse. He wasn't interested in staying in a 4 walled room for the entire day. He got to admit, this forest is way different from the forest in the Devil Mountain. The forest here is green unlike what he always sees, Dark and gloomy.

He could hear the entire forest even the birds chirping miles away from here. He just walks around until he reaches a river. He look around the place and a sigh left his lips "Ahujussi, you really like sighing." Jungkook snaps towards the owner of the voice.

He frown when he saw the same little girl that bump into him when he reach here. What is the girl doing here? She's looking at him with her big eyes as she hugged the plushie in her hand. "Since when are you here?" He asked the girl. "Since Ahjussi enters this forest." She answers.

"What a sneaky girl," Jungkook mumble as he eyes her. The fact that this girl can sneak around him without him realizing or sensing her is impressive. Reminding him of someone. "Why are you following me?" He asked the girl who are still looking at him with her puppy eyes.

"Why did Ahjussi look so sad ever since you came here?" She asks him back making Jungkook raise his left eyebrow. "I'm not sad." He answers shortly and looks away. The girl pout and walk closer to him "but you look sad."

"I'm not."

"You do."

"No."

"But-"

Jungkook sigh once again "Just- go away, can't you? Before I rip your plushie once again." He threatened to make the girl hug her plushie tightly. "Such a meanie." She mumbles making Jungkook roll his eyes "Then don't talk with me and go play with someone your size." He says and walks away.

The little girl didn't stop there and run after the Demon Alpha "Ahjussi, eomma said that you are a dangerous person." She says "so listen to your mother and stop following me." He replies coldly but the girl still tries to catch up with her small legs.

"But Ahjussi-"

"Stop calling me that."

He demands in irritation as he halts his step and of course, the girl halts too. "I won't stop calling you ahjussi until you stop being a meanie." She says making Jungkook roll his eyes. Why do kids keep disturbing him? Is he a magnet to these tiny mortals? Does he look that friendly?

Annoying children...

Not wanting to talk with this girl anymore he continues walking. The girl follows him and speaks up again "Ahjussi-"

"Go away."

"But-"

"Don't talk to me."

"Ahjussi!"

"What do you want?!" He finally asks as he turns to her. The girl smiles innocently at him "I'm tired." She says innocently. Jungkook cross his arm "so?" He asked, "My legs hurt." She adds but Jungkook just lifts his left eyebrow at her. She smiles wider "Can you carry me?"

"No."

What's wrong with me these days?

Jungkook asked himself.

I just stayed here for less than 2 days. I was dragged into an orphanage and had to play with so many tiny humans.

Now?

Huff! I can't believe I actually let this small brat ride on my back. My pride really got stepped on by a child.

Jungkook wants to laugh at himself right now. He glances at the girl that he is carrying on his back. She's sleeping. How dare she? She's heavy and I have to carry her? Can't I just throw her off me? Why am I doing this anyway?

I didn't sign for this...
