LATE NIGHTS.

❝𝐃𝐄𝐂𝐀𝐃𝐄||𝘽𝙉𝙃𝘼 𝙎𝙝𝙞𝙢𝙪𝙧𝙖 𝙏𝙚𝙣𝙠𝙤||❞

↬ With a few light strokes of the the pencil, The sketch came to a finish and the book closed. Looking up to the sky you took notice how the sun was just setting and made the choice to pack up. Placing the sketch book, pens, pencils and other art related items in a brown backpack you stood up, Having a strap lazily on your shoulder.

"Time sure does fly when your relaxed mmh?" you sigh with a small smile, Looking up to a few birds perched upon a branch chirping away as if they were having a nice conversation. You turned and began walking up the forest trail.

It was nice and quiet, Only the few chirps from birds above or on the ground and the gentle wind breezing through the leaves and grass. As you walked down the path, The stone and leaves crunching below your feet, You shivered slightly and hugged yourself feeling the temperature begin to drop.

An hour passed as the sky became dark, Stars being more visible then before; Coming to an end of the forest you perk up seeing the back of your house, It was fairly large and was recently painted and built on. There was over growing plants around the nice bricks and a wonderful, glass sliding door. The wind and chill of the night seemed to pick up and you rushed into the house.

You couldn't get much sleep, Tossing and turning to find the best and comfortable spot, Taking your blanket off and on to be perfectly warm, Everything was just too hard to be perfect and it annoyed you. Soon you heard it, A few noises: mostly being crashes or massive bangs, Muffled thanks to the walls. Your neighbour, Shimura Tenko, being his name. Seemed to do this every night, At first you were confused then slowly thinking of other activities but after time it got a bit concerning, Just yesterday there was a massive scream throughout the house, though he always tried assuring you it was perfectly fine.. you had your doubts.

You turned on your back, Facing the ceiling above you and settling your eyes on a piece of the ceiling, The paint being a massive blob. Your eye twitched in annoyance and you wondered if you should go over there, It wasn't far: being literally besides you but.. Shimura's behaviour changed from his usual kind and sweet self to more closed off and dismissive, And with the constant bangs and screams it worried you and made you a bit afraid.

"AGHH!" the familiar shout of your neighbour muffled throughout the paper thin walls, You frowned and decided to see what was going on once and for all.
