ding dong !

chloe ran to her apartments door, taking a quick look through the peep hole even though she was sure she knew it was her brother. when her idea was confirmed she opened the door, bringing him in for a hug, "hiya georgie!"

the taller sibling rolled his eyes at her childish antics, pushing her off him as he laughed. "hi chlo, all packed?" george asked, moving past her into the open spaced area and making his way straight to the sofa, throwing himself on it.

"does it look it?" the girl sighed walking into her kitchen to make a drink. "i mean, my room is an absolute mess."

"that is a shame, and what time is your flight tomorrow?" the brunette smirked at his sister, not long before feeling a pillow in his face and usually he'd throw it back but he couldn't help but laugh at his sisters misfortune.

"i don't understand how she got confused with 4pm and 4am," chloe complains sitting beside him.

"bitchin' bout me again, chlo?" the star girl mopes in, dragging a suitcase behind her, "before you even start, the website fucked me over because i know, that i booked 4pm."

"well you obviously didn't otherwise we wouldn't be in this predicament."

"to be fair if you were prepared and didn't leave packing until last second, this wouldn't even be an issue." cora shrugged, sitting next to george after giving him a quick hug.

chloe gently bit her lip, not even sure how to respond, knowing her best friend was entirely correct. instead, she gave her brother his drink and left the room, opting to call the blonde she was on her way to meet.

"helloooo."

"..."

"yeah, im good and you?"

"..."

"no, i haven't packed anything yet."

"..."

"well yeah it is, but i don't know what to pack."

"..."

"right can you send me a list of things i'll need, considering you know what the weather is like."

"..."

"thank you so much, i owe you!"

so that's what she did, she took the list of things she'd been sent and packed. it didn't take as long now that she knew what she'd need and what the weather conditions were, so she was glad she did call to find out.

walking back into the other room she heard another voice, one she recognised to be alex's but looking round she couldn't see him. it didn't take her long to find where he was after she saw george laughing obnoxiously whilst looking consistently at his phone camera. chloe felt like saying hello but she decided she'd wait until they'd finished their little moment.

"coraaa," chloe sings, attempting to get her best friends attention, "cora, cora, cora," eventually the girl looked up, clueless, "come look at what i've packed please."

so that's what they did, 30 minutes looking at what eachother had packed. by the time they had finished it was almost 8 o'clock, time for bed according to cora as she shouted goodbye to george and curled up into chloe's bed.

chloe got changed into her pajamas before heading out into the lounge where george was still sat on call with alex, now talking about racing. she sat beside her brother, taking a bite of the food he had helped himself to from her kitchen, that certainly caught his attention. the younger sibling had realised that, after her arm had been slapped aggressively and then meeting the face of thunder that was worn by her brother.

"let me just remind you, that is food that i paid for. so don't even think about not letting me have a bite, you ungrateful little shi-"

"hi chloe," alex waves through the phone, hearing the other voice in the room, "i was wondering where you was."

"i was in my room, avoiding him."

"in your own apartment?" the boy over the phone questioned.

"she's lying, mate," george interrupted, putting his face back in the frame, "she's been packing because she left it til last minute."

"oh shit, you leave tomorrow don't you?" alex asks, getting a nod in response as the girl chewed on a bit of food.

"don't ask her what time though," george laughs after winking at the camera.

"what time?"

"4 in the fucking morning," chloe tells him calmly, "don't laugh."

it was too late though, both boys laughing knowing how much the girl despises early mornings and how she valued her sleep.

"right, george can you leave now? it's late, i've had enough of your stupidity tonight and i have to be up early, as you already know."

"fine, alex mate i'll speak to you in a minute," george speaks over the phone.

"safe flight, chlo," alex calls, "speak to you in a bit, george."

the phone ends and george slips his phone to his pocket, he looks up seeing his sister stood staring at him, he opened his arms and she was quick to accept. as much as she claimed she hated him, he was the bestest friend she could ever ask for. 

"call me when you land so i know you're safe, yeah?" he pulls away, messing up her hair to make her smile.

"of course," chloe reaches up, failing to reach his hair and instead slapping him across the face.

"don't bother." george scoffs leaving the apartment, before calling back, "see you in a bit."

she follows behind him, shutting the door and when she turned around, she saw the empty room ahead of her. chloe stood there for a moment, taking in the silence as she looked past the small mess. deciding it would save her time in the morning, she tidied up the last little parts of the apartment. it didn't take her long to finish but when she did, she pulled her phone out from her pocket, only to see she had missed a call.
