HEAVING A SIGH, Lyra closed her eyes for some peace which was short lived when a very smiley Talia came into the room holding a wooden tray and blasting "Dancing Queen" from her phone. It was a tradition they did since seventeen was the age they moved in together. Who cared if Lyra was turning 21 and not 17? Definitely not them that's for sure.

They both grinned brightly as Talia put down the tray and moved to help up the blonde from bed so they could dance around the room.

"You are the dancing queen, young and sweet. only seventeen!"

When the song finished Talia pulled her best friend into a hug, practically squeezing each other's organs. "Happy birthday babe!!"

"You're gonna have so much fun today I have everything planned out perfectly, but first," The brunette girl pushed her to get into bed and placed the tray filled with breakfast foods onto her lap. "It's not a birthday without breakfast in bed," she squeled.

Lyra shook her head and laughed, "I'd be happy just spending the day with you at home, I love you though, thank you." She smiled gratefully. Patting the place next to her on her queen sized bed, she urged her friend to eat with her as she had made enough waffles for three. "And come sit!! We can watch Gossip Girl and eat waffles. If that's not paradise I don't know what is."

She caved quickly and turned on her TV so they could watch episode 12. They both had to have a moment of silence when Dan told Serena he loved her and she replied with 'Okay'. No matter how many times they rewatched the show, their reactions would always be the same. The two girls made plans to go shopping and meet up with Freya later, sending a quick text to ask her, to which she immediately agreed already on her way over. She was so grateful to her friends for making her life so fun. And she was especially grateful to the girl sat next to her laughing and eating syrup coated waffles. Lyra Kennedy had no idea what she'd do without Talia Mar in her life.

LYRA WAS PICKING out her outfit for her birthday party, which was initially supposed to be a surprise until she told Talia and Freya about how some people were horrible secret keepers. She was wearing a short white dress, with high black boots and tights with bows. Doing some finishing touches on her makeup, the sweet blonde applied her lipgloss and scrolled through her phone; replying to her birthday wishes on peoples stories and posts. She would see most of them later anyway, but it was her birthday duh- she was allowed to flaunt it.

She FaceTimed her family, whilst doing her makeup earlier as she knew she wouldn't get any other free time and ended also ended up calling Josh, who was already there with the boys. Immediately ending the call when Ethan brought up her last birthday endeavours- we don't talk about it.

She smiled replying to Tobi's post about her and was about to click off when she saw another one about her.
