Pale silvery threads of light shined down upon the darkend town of Darkwood, It was late and the darkness crept in like the shadows that drifted across the starry night sky. The town was almost quiet, not a peep or sound could be heard coming from the houses of those that lived within Darkwood's walls. Only the faint sound of music could be heard drifting from the forest like chimes in the wind. The forest connected to the main road that lead into the town of Darkwood.

It was a narrow road that twisted and turned through the trees, it didn't seemed like anyone would be on the road this late at night but there was someone on the road. Well more like a group of someones, this particular group of friends decided to go on a road trip before they were stuck back in their respective university classrooms.

For now they were going to enjoy life, which also meant that they planned to enjoy this roadtrip as well. With no parents to tell them off and no responsiblities holding them down, these friends were free to live their lives to the fullest at the moment.

That meant blasting the music that came from the mini van's speakers as loud as they possibly could, all while belting out the lyrics to the song that was currently playing. Michael Gray was the one that was currently driving the mini van into the small quiet town that was Darkwood. The town that had been suggested for their first stop on the roadtrip, by someone who used to originally come from the town until his family moved away.
