AMARA WAS PRACTICING Her archery when Annabeth came over.
"You're gonna have to talk to him sooner or later, Ames." Annabeth sat down watching her sister hit the target.
Amara rolled her eyes, shaking her head "Not until he apologizes."
Annabeth groans, leaning her head back against the tree "Ames, it was five years ago and it wasn't Luke's fault. Thalia made a sacrifice for us."
Amara got another arrow from her bag, rolling her eyes "Anna..."
Annabeth stood up, clasping her hands together "Ames, he still talks about you. He wants you back in his life. He doesn't owe you an apology. You owe him one. He wants you in his life again, Amara."
Amara stopped fixing her bow, looking over to Annabeth "What?"
Annabeth pinched the bridge of her nose, groaning. This girl was stubborn.
"Luke misses you. You're the only one who puts a smile on his dorky looking face. So, for the love of Gods. Apologize and fix this issue with Luke. You owe him that much, big sis, so, please..." Annabeth begged, crossing her arms.
Amara took a deep breath. Annabeth was right. She had to fix it with Luke.
"Okay.." Amara rubbed her arms, biting her lip.
Annabeth walked off, groaning in frustration "You're so stubborn!"
Amara rolled her eyes, picking up her stuff "I heard that!"
Annabeth smirked to herself, not looking at Amara "I know!"

AMARA WALKED OVER To the Hermes cabin, rubbing her arm. Here goes nothing. Before Amara could knock on the door it swung open to reveal Luke.Β
"A-ames..." Luke breathed out, looking her up and down.
Amara pursed her lips together, smiling weakly "Hi, Lukey."
Luke hugged her, tightly "I-'m sorry. I'm sorry."
Amara wrapped her arms around his waist, sniffling "No, Lukey. I'm sorry."
Luke pulled away from her, looking down at her "For?"
Amara bit her lip, looking up at him "Ignoring you for five years. Thalia wasn't your fault. I said dumb things and I took my anger out on you, that was childish of me."
"I mean, we were children, Ames. So, your behavior was understandable..." Luke crossed his arms, chuckling a bit.
Amara shoved him playfully, tilting her head back in laughter "God, I hate you."
Luke pouted, rubbing his chest "You wound me, darling."
Amara giggled, crossing her arms "That so, Castellan?"
Luke pulled her closer, wrapping his arms around her "Just a tad."
Amara wrapped her arms around his neck, running her hand through his hair "I missed you, kiddo."
Luke groaned, burying his face in his shoulder "I'm younger than you by 4 months, Ames.."
Amara blushed, making an "aww" noise. Luke kept groaning, trying to hide his red face. In the middle of their hug they heard overlapping voices. Luke's head shot up, holding onto Amara protectively.
"Should we go?" Amara raised a brow, looking up at him.
Luke nodded, holding Amara's hand, going to investigate what the noise was. When they got there kids were huddled around someone while Chiron was behind the kids.
"He's waking. Everyone, give him some space, please." Chiron told the group of kids.
Amara grabbed Luke's wrist, backing up like Chiron instructed.
"Welcome to camp, Percy Jackson. We've been expecting you." Chiron told Percy.
Luke wrapped his arms around Amara's chest, planting a gentle kiss to her head. Amara placed her hands on Luke's arms, rubbing her thumb over his arm. Luke and Amara looked at each other before looking back at Percy. They had to protect him. Whatever it took.
