THE NEXT DAY CAME AROUND and all four found themselves back at the production office. Madelyn had offered to pick up Maeve so they could go together. During the whole car ride Madelyn wouldn't shut up about last nights glances between Rudy and Maeve. Maeve kept telling her she was delusional.

"Hey boys" Maddie greeted both Chase and Rudy once they entered the production office. Both boys muttered a hey.

"Hey" Maeve said greeting both guys with a small smile

"Hey" Chase smiles

Rudy couldn't help but notice that something was wrong with the blonde. "Hey sunshine, why the sad smile?" Rudy asks 

Madelyn and Chase looked at each other when they heard the blond man say "sunshine"

Maeve looked up at Rudy and she couldn't help but feel butterflies at the nickname. "Didn't get much sleep" Maeve says with a small yawn

Before Rudy could respond Jonas came out of the director room and walked towards the four.

"Good Morning guys!" Jonas said in a cheerful voice

All four muttered a good morning.

"Surprise we're doing the network test!!" He said with a huge smile

"Wait" "What?" "Wasn't that-" "on Wednesday"

"I know I know but we decided to surprise you guys" Jonas said before walking away to the other group of people who were also reading for John B, JJ, Rosie and Sarah.

Chase let's out a long sigh "Oh I'm not getting this job" he says before walking out of the production office.

"S-should we go after him?" Maeve asks nervously

"I think we should give him some space" Rudy says and Madelyn agrees

As the three go sit on a couch, they see Jonas go outside. And after a few minutes Chase and Jonas come back inside.

"Alright let's do this" Jonas exclaims

For the network test each pair had to read together.
The first to go in was Chase and Rudy. After Rudy came out another guy who was auditioning for JJ went in. After the guy came out Madelyn went in.

Then it was Maeve and the same guy who went in with Chase. After they finished the director asked Maeve to stay in her place, meanwhile they waited for Rudy to come in. Once he did he gave a wink to Maeve.

After a few hours of going back in forth in reading different material and working on different scenes they finally finished.

Maeve, Rudy, Madelyn, Chase, Jonas and the other kid who was auditioning for John B were walking out of the production office.

Chase was a bit ahead of everyone and he turns back too look at them "So can you get me an uber or something so I can get back to my hotel. I don't have money and I'm trying to eat dinner and this is just a bad situation and I'm sorry." Chase asks desperately. Which makes Jonas laugh.

Rudy looks over at chase "I'll call an uber"

Maeve and Madelyn say their goodbyes to everyone.

Once Maeve arrived at her hotel room she immediately went to lay in her bed after a long day. She was so close to falling asleep when her phone rang.

She instantly groaned, while patting her bed trying to find her phone. Once it's in her hands she picks it up without seeing the caller ID.

"Hello?" She says tirelessly

"YOU GOT THE PART CONGRATULATIONS" The person on the other side of the phone yells. Which catches Maeve by surprise that it makes her drop her phone.

She immediately reaches to grab it from the floor. Checking if the call was still on. "Oh my god! Really? Wow! Thank you!" Maeve rambles with excitement

After the call she immediately FaceTimes her parents telling her that she got the part. Luckily both of her older siblings were there to hear the news. Her whole family congratulated her and wished her the best on her new journey.
