'Sir, can I ask you a question? But I would like you to answer it with complete honesty.' I said as I continued to examine Yana's blood under the microscope.

'Depends on what it's about.' he said coldly. His eyes seemed cooler than usual. I swallowed hard. Okay, V. You can do it...

'What does Yana mean to you? ' I looked at his with half an eye. I saw him completely frozen by my question and then, as if nothing had happened, he walked on across the room without taking his eyes off Yana.

'Nothing, she's just a doctor nothing more.' she said simply.

'If she's just a doctor, then why...' a knife suddenly flew past my head. I immediately closed my mouth.

'I don't think you had anything to do with it! ' he looked at me coldly, which almost gave me the chills. I swallowed hard and nodded. I turned back to the microscope. Suddenly I saw something. I reached into the blood with a pair of tweezers and pulled it out. Agust D picked it up and came closer to me.

'What the...? ' D looked at me with widened eyes. 

'These are intelligent bugs.' I said, looking closer. 'They're bugs that, when programmed to do what they're programmed to do.'

Yana's body was getting whiter and paler. I couldn't start her on an IV. But I could give her the medicine, which I had already injected intravenously.

'How long? ' he walked over to her side and then I saw his hand slide over hers. He looked up at me and then caught it.

'She doesn't need much. Sure, if...' I suddenly swallowed my words and turned away. Scared, D snapped his head at me.

'IF WHAT?! ' his voice almost unrecognisable in the air.

I shook my head. Agust D stood in front of me in one motion and then grabbed my collar and pushed me against the wall.

I turned my head away from him.

After some time, suddenly D stood up and walked out.

'I'm busy.' he said simply, without looking back, and then he went out. I nodded slightly in acknowledgement.

I was watching the clock click. The medicine should have taken effect by now... I put my finger to Yana's carotid artery. She still had a pulse. Slower than it should have been, but it was there. Okay, that's a good sign so far. I leaned into her mouth. She was still breathing. Then suddenly I turned my head back and that's when Yana woke up. Her soft lips pressed against mine. I couldn't help but stare in shock. Yana pushed me away from her in one motion.

'Tae what are you doing?! ' she looked at me nervously.

'I...I...' I was rambling on and on. 'I'm sorry about...'

'You just what? ' she sat up and looked around the room in a daze. 'Why am I here? How did I get here? ' she completely confused. But all I could think about without stopping was the previous moment and her wonderfully soft lips that had been on mine not long before.

'But I'm fine, I was just sleeping.' she said as she started to put on his shoes.

'No, Yana, you...' I was about to explain, but he saw the stage...

'Is someone hurt?! ' she stood up and immediately started packing in preparation for the patient. I gently grabbed her shoulder and she looked at me, frightened. She was so cute and breathtaking.
