I got up in the morning as usual. I got ready and went downstairs. Dad was sitting downstairs at the kitchen table reading the newspaper while drinking his coffee. When I arrive, he always raises his head and flashes me the widest smile in the world.
'Good morning honey! How did you sleep?' came his sweet voice.
'Good morning! I'm still a little tired, but I slept well. I have an exam today so I'll be able to come home later.' I said as I started shoveling my breakfast onto my plate.
'What time? I'm coming for you!'
'Daddy, I'm not little anymore! I'm 22 years old! I don't need parental control! I can come home alone.' I rolled my eyes bored.
'I know, I know my honey, but people are unpredictable and not...'
'Yes, Dad! I know! You don't want me in any trouble! I got it.' I gave him a kiss on the cheek and quickly shoveled in my breakfast and I walked to the front door.
'Take care my sweetheart and when you're done...'
'Then I'll definitely call you!' I smiled back at him from the door. 'Goodbye Daddy! I'll be there soon!'
'Bye-bye! Good luck with your exam!' he shouted after me.

When I got to university, I immediately bumped into my best friend.
'Good morning Hobi!' I hugged him.
'Morning Yana!' he hugged her back languidly.
'Have you been up long again?' I looked at him knowingly.
'Yes! I couldn't sleep because of the stupid exam...' scratched the back of his head.
'Don't worry, it'll definitely work!' I caressed his arm. He gave me a little smile.
'Thank you Yana! Well, let's hurry, because we've to get there and it's in the other wing!' pulled after him.
Our exam is over. I was just waiting in front of the door of the hall from which Hobi would have come out, but I was surprised to see that he wasn't longer inside.
'Hi! Are you looking for someone?' asked a guy who was walking back into the hall to get his stuff.
'Yes. Maybe you haven't seen Hoseok?'
'Hoseok?' he asked back, confused.
'Yes, tall brown hair with a crazy look.' I giggled at Hobi's description.
'Oh, now I know!' slapped his forehead 'But he hasn't been here for a long time.' he looked at me with furrowed brows. Is he not here? Where could he have gone?
'Oh, I understand. Thanks to you though! Bye!' I quickly waved at the guy and left the building.
I took my phone out of my pocket and dialed Hobi's number. It rang... it rang... it rang... what? Why don't he pick it up? Maybe he's busy and something came up. It doesn't matter. I then called my father to say that I had just finished and was going home. He asked me again if he would come for me, but I refused. Dad was always too fearful, but I didn't mind that for a minute. I loved my father. He was always there for me. For better or for worse. We had many father daughter evenings. I loved them! Funny so much!
'Hey, pay attention!' there was a sudden sound, then the screeching of car tires. The car just stopped next to me. I mean, I thought so. I couldn't feel my right leg completely. Numb. I looked down at my feet. I didn't see any damage. Probably just from the adrenaline.
'Excuse me! Sorry.' I apologized profusely to the driver, who looked back at me with bloodshot eyes. Something was telling me to run. My tendons moved on their own. I started running as fast as I could. The car followed me. I started to take the phone out of my pocket and dialed my father's number. Then it rang... voicemail. What's the...? Dad always answered his phone...
'STOP!' the man shouted from behind me and then started to snort. I started running even faster. I sent Hobi a message saying SOS. No answer and he always started calling me no matter what. What's going on? Why isn't anyone here with me right now?! Tears gathered in my eyes. No, no, no! I musn't weaken now. Big bang. The sound of a rifle bullet hit the lamp post next to me. What the hell?! I didn't dare look back. I was afraid that if I looked back, I would lose my balance and fall, and that... I could pay with my life.
'Next will be your pretty little thighs, sweetheart!' shouted my attacker. My legs were getting tired. Of course they are tired! I think I ran 1km already. Deify! Someone! Really just... someone! Save me! Tears started to gather in my eyes again, but I just wiped them away with the sleeve of my blouse. Another bang, but this one didn't come from behind, the figure of a man appeared out of nowhere in front of me with a gun in his hand. I blinked wide to clear my vision. There was a tall guy in a suit with a cigarette in his mouth and a carbine pistol in one hand that was pointed at me. Wait no... and a huge thud. I screamed and collapsed, waiting for my theory to come true. I collapsed on the ground. I put my head on my knees. I wrapped my arms around myself as much as I could. My lungs don't stop for lack of air in my wheezing chest. But I didn't dare to move. I was afraid. Suddenly a hand reached out to me. I didn't dare to move. What if I move and get killed?
'You are safe now.' he said...
'Hobi?!' I looked up at the boy.
