"WHAT?! Are you kidding me?!"

A certain yellow haired boy screamed in pure shock as his bey stopped spinning because he lost his concentration.

"I-I'm n-not k-kidding with y-you brother."

A timid and shy feminine voice spoke slowly as the owner of the voice fiddled with her fingers.

"I don't believe it!" Said the male.

What's going on here? What's all this commotion about?

By now, many of you must've recognised who the yellow haired boy is, right?
Indeed, he's our famous Free de la Hoya.
And the shy little girl? Who's she?

She's (Y/N) de la Hoya, the sister of Free de la Hoya.

Unlike her brother, she has a completely different appearance and personality.
She has (h/c) hair and (e/c) eyes which match her (s/c) skin.

She's calm and shy. And guess the special fact about her?

She's the childhood friend of Shu Kurenai.

"But it's true. And I need your help on how to confess to him."

(Y/N) asked shyly, fiddling with her fingers.

"Let me get this straight first. You're telling me that you have a crush on Shu Kurenai since you were 11?"

Free asked as he rubbed his temples a little and his sister nodded in response.

"And how do you want me to help you out with this?" He inquired.

"Just do as I say and I'm positive that everything will work out."

The girl smiled and winked. The red streak haired boy warned her,

"But if he dares to hurt you then don't blame me for sending him to the hospital."

The (e/c) eyed girl giggled and nodded in response. Then she perked up,

"Fine. And I've found the perfect opportunity for the confession too!"

"Oh and what would that be?"

"Shu said that he's gonna come to Spain to meet Valt and me. After he and Valt will spend their time together, I'll get my chance."

"Hmm. Sounds good but what am I supposed to do to help?"

"Your task is simple. Just keep Valt from spying on us. Pretty please?"

(Y/N) said while looking at Free with puppy dog eyes which she knew her brother won't resist.

And she was right. Free sighed,

"Alright fine. But keeping him busy isn't gonna be easy."

"You can beybattle him. That way both of you will be busy and be able to practice as well."

"Wait- what'd you just say? You want even me to be busy?"

The blader asked as he narrowed his eyes at her as she nervously smiled and quickly looked away.

'Technically yes. Because along with Valt, you'll also spy on us. I know that. You are one hell of an overprotective brother.'

The (h/c) haired girl thought and quickly left, leaving Free confused and suspicious.

Timeskip to Shu's arrival at BC Sol:
No one's P.O.V.

"Shuuuuuuuu! You're back!"

The cheery bluenette exclaimed happily as he ran to his best friend and engulfed him in a tight hug.

The albino chuckled,

"Yeah Valt. Long time no see, huh?"

Valt grinned as they fist bumped together and walked to the hotel Shu was supposed to be staying in.

"So how are things in New York? All the students you teach?"

"Everything's going well. There's a new student to whom I'll introduce you later and perhaps let him have a battle with you?"

Valt's eyes lit up with excitement.

"A beybattle? Cool! Can't wait!"

Shu chuckled as the chocolate brown eyed boy asked,

"But do tell me a little about him beforehand."

"Seems like you've matured Valt. Asking for the introduction of your opponent beforehand."

"There're so many things I can tell you which are new!"

"Hmm. I can't wait to hear all of it. But where's (Y/N)? She didn't come at the airport."

"She said she'll come by later because she's got some work to do."

Valt said as Shu's expression went a little gloomy.

"I see. I was really hoping to spend time with her. I missed her a lot."

"Oo~ So that means you like her?"

His friend asked teasingly as the red eyed male's cheeks reddened and he looked aside quickly.

"Shut it! Where'd you get that idea from?"

The wonder boy elbowed him and replied,

"We grew up together. Don't think that Xander and I haven't noticed the way you look at her. And how you enjoy her presence more than we do everytime."

"Since when did you become such an observer?"

The albino asked in disbelief as Valt just shrugged.

"It was really obvious y'know. Even the beyclub used to see it."

"If it really was that obvious then how on earth did the person for whom it was, didn't even take a hint?"

"Perhaps (Y/N) is bad at picking hints."

"Hmm. Maybe you're right. Guess I'll have to try harder."

Shu said placing a finger on his chin as Valt suggested,

"Well. You can think about that later. How about we have a beybattle for now?"

"Sure. You better give it your all because I won't be holding back."

"Neither will I!"

A short timeskip:
No one's P.O.V.

Shu's day was a blast. He spent so much time with Valt. Eating beybreads, catching up with what's going on and what's new and most importantly...having beybattle with him again!

The albino was very happy to see that the wonder boy was still as strong as ever.
But apparently, his mind was focused on searching for his childhood sweetheart a.k.a., (Y/N).

He got a text from her to come and meet up in the forest.

'I wonder why (Y/N) called me to the forest when we could've just met up at the BC Sol itself. Nevertheless, I shouldn't miss this chance to confess to her.'

The albino thought to himself as he walked. A while later, he found himself at a clearing in the forest where the view to the sky was very clear and beautiful.

"Wow..." Shu's mouth was left open as he took in the beauty of the night sky.

"I'm glad you made it!"

A feminine voice spoke as he turned his head towards the direction of the voice and saw the person he'd been dying to meet.

"(Y/N)."

"Shu."

They both said at the same time and giggled. Then the girl stopped and said,

"I wanted to tell you something."

"Wow. Funny, I also had to tell you something."

"Oh! Then you first."

"No. As everyone says, ladies first."

The (e/c) eyed girl chuckled and took a deep breath. Then she said all of it in one go,

"ShuKurenaiIreallyloveyousincewewere11yearsold!"

The albino took a minute to process what she just said. As soon as he realised it, his eyes widened at first and then he laughed.

(Y/N) thought that she would get rejected and that Shu was making fun of her. Her expression saddened before turning into a surprised one when she heard,

"I was gonna tell you the exact same thing."

"Wait- really?"

"Yes. Really." The albino chuckled.

"Sooooooooo it means that..."

"Yes. I love you (Y/N) (L/N)."

The girl happily jumped in the albino's arms as he spun her around in the air and she said it back,

"I love you too Shu Kurenai."

Free: "Kissing is a no no. You can't just kiss my sister like that."

Shu: "But how'll we be a couple if we don't kiss each other at all?" *groans*

Free: "Kiss her on the cheek and forehead. Lip kissing is forbidden."

Shu: "You're being too overprotective."

Free: "And you're being too much of a PDA type of boyfriend."

Shu: "How about cuddles?"

Free: "Sure. But no more than that. And (Y/N) will sleep with me in my room."

Shu: "I disagree on that one. She'll sleep with me since she's my girlfriend."

Free: "Before your girlfriend she's my sister."

(Y/N): "Oh God! Someone please stop these two!" *😵*

I feel like I rushed this one. 😓
This one might go on a rewrite in the future. For now, I believe I like it...
