Shu Kurenai was like any other world famous personality. He was strong, good looking and loved by mostly everyone.

But like every other celebrity, he also had to always run and avoid his crazy fans and the nosy reporters who always wanted to know every single detail of his life.

He had his childhood friend group which consisted of him, Valt Aoi, Xander Shakadera and a girl named (Y/N) (L/N).

As they all grew up, they got busier and busier and weren't able to make time out to hangout with each other.

Valt and Shu were still the best friends and rivals they were but Xander got much more busier in managing the dojo of his grandfather so they could only meet up at certain occasions.

As for (Y/N), the trio of the boys weren't able to be in contact with her other than the phone. They would call and chat regularly but were never able to meet up due to their business.

Sometimes the bladers were busy while other times the girl was busy.
Putting that aside, did you know a fun fact about Shu? He does look handsome and strong and all that but he's actually really cute too!

Don't believe me? I've got proof too.
Shu is a smart and observer boy but this albino is never able to understand this simple fact: Why is he liked by girls?

Everytime he encounters a fangirl, he tries his best not to hurt her feelings while rejecting her crazy confessions/proposals.
And trust me while doing so, this red eyed male looks really cute.

And that's the exact reason why girls like him! (Including your author chan! (≧Д≦)

Anyway, let's get back to the story and see how this cute albino gets together with his childhood friend a.k.a. (Y/N).

In a street in Japan where the Ultimate Tag Team Series are being held. Time: Late Evening (No one's P.O.V.)

Valt, Rantaro, Wakiya and Shu were walking in the streets of their hometown just like they used to when the whole beyclub was still together.

Apparently, they were on their way to the Aoi bakery for some fresh beybread dinner. If it wasn't for Valt and Honcho excitedly jumping around for Mrs. Aoi's beybreads, Wakiya and Shu wouldn't have joined.

To their bad luck, the group of four friends were spotted by a large swarm of fangirls who immediately started squealing and chasing after them like crazy.

Luckily,
"I know the way to (Y/N)'s apartment!" Valt exclaimed as the other three looked at him.

"Really? How?" Shu asked surprised.

"She messaged me her address. Now c'mon follow me!" Valt said as he sped up with the others following him not too far behind.

They ran and ran and ran until they were in front of an apartment which looked quite similar to Shu's old one when he used to live in Japan.

"Upstairs everyone!" Valt demanded as they all followed him.

The fangirls were also chasing close behind.

With one quick knock on the door, it was flung open as all the four bladers rushed inside and the door was closed once again.

Rantaro flopped down on the floor panting heavily from all the running as Wakiya sat on the couch with uneven breaths as well.

"Hi guys."
A gentle feminine voice said as they looked upto see a female holding out a tray with 4 glasses of water in it to them.

"(Y/N)?!" Shu's eyes widened slightly as he got to see his childhood friend in person after such a long time.

"Thanks for saving us." Valt thanked as he gave his cheerful smile to her direction.

"No problem." She smiled back.

"But how did you know where we were and what was going on with us?" Wakiya inquired as he raised an eyebrow.

"If you stay on social media platforms, you can always stay up to date with the current affairs."

The (h/c) haired girl said as she set down the tray on the centre table. Rantaro and Valt took the glasses and drank it all in one go as they said simultaneously,

"Refreshing!"

Shu and (Y/N) laughed awkwardly as Wakiya just shrugged,

"No matter, how much time passes, these two will never change."

As the trio of Valt, Rantaro and Wakiya were now busy chatting amongst themselves, Shu excused himself and went up to (Y/N).

"Hey (Y/N), how have you been?" He asked as the girl smiled at him.

"I've been good as ever! How about you Shu?"

"I've been good as well. Though I was wondering how Valt came to know about your address." He replied.

"Oh, you won't believe how he did. He literally called and texted me every single day until I told him my address." The girl and the albino sweatdropped at this.

"I agree that Valt can sometimes be the most annoying person that ever walked on earth." Shu said as he awkwardly smiled.

Then Rantaro, Wakiya, Shu and (Y/N) suddenly got startled by a loud growling sound.

"Is that an earthquake or thunder outside?" Wakiya panicked.

"Maybe it's something even worse!" Rantaro said.

"I'm hungry..." Valt whined as the rest of the people in the room did an anime fall down.

"Seriously Valt..." Honcho narrowed his eyes at him and looked at him like '(눈‸눈)'.

"I'll just...go and make dinner right away then..." (Y/N) laughed awkwardly as she went in the kitchen.

"Wait! Let me help you out. I won't let you make food for all of us just by yourself." Shu said as he rushed after her in the kitchen.

Meanwhile Valt, Honcho and Wakiya began whispering amongst themselves.

"Shu is gonna be with her as soon as the dinner gets ready." Honcho said with a proud smile.

"I bet that as soon as we sit down to eat Shu will say 'I love you' to (Y/N)." Wakiya said a bit sassily.

"Both of you are wrong. Shu will be with her in less than 30 minutes." Valt said.

"We'll see who wins the bet." The trio said in unison.

In the kitchen meanwhile (No one's P.O.V.)

"Could you please cut the vegetables, Shu? I'll make the rice and prepare the soup in the meantime." The (h/c) haired girl said politely.

"Yeah, sure." Shu smiled and nodded as they both put on aprons and began cooking the dinner.

As Shu was cutting the vegetables he suddenly asked (Y/N),

"Hey (Y/N). There's one thing that I'm never able to understand."

"Hmm...what is it?" The girl responded as she didn't turn to look at him.

"Do I appear handsome and charming to girls and women?"

(Y/N) almost dropped the whole container of salt in the soup as her face lit up like a tomato at his question.

"Where'd this question come from Shu?"

"It's just a casual question." Shu replied.

"W-well to be honest, y-yes you are quite a handsome young man." She explained in the best way she could.

Shu stopped cutting vegetables as he looked at the girl,

"Really? Then am I charming in your eyes as well?" He asked.

"Y-yeah..." (Y/N) said and looked away, not knowing that Shu was now walking towards her.

"Hey, look at me."

Reluctantly, she obeyed but only to turn flustered at how cutely he was looking at her.

"W-why are y-you looking at m-me like that?" She stammered.

"Because I want to ask you this: Do you love me?" He asked with cute and innocent eyes which made (Y/N)'s heart race.

"Y-yes I do..." She mumbled under her breath.

"Pardon? I couldn't hear what you said." Shu blinked as he put his ear closer to her mouth.

"I-I s-said I d-do love y-you." The girl repeated herself but a little bit louder this time.

"Then I love you too." Shu smiled.

"Huh?" The female blinked confusingly as Shu chuckled.

"What? Can't I have a crush on my childhood friend?"

"Wait! So you're telling me you've loved me all this time?!" (Y/N) asked dumbfounded.

"Of course." Shu laughed.

"Okay, okay. Keep it down, will you? Or else the others will hear us." (Y/N) said as she placed a finger on her lips.

"Well, I'm glad to have you as my girlfriend." Shu said as the girl was taken a little aback.

"You aren't gonna do it?" She asked as Shu blinked confusingly at her.

"Do what?"

"Kiss me? That's how people show their love when they become a new couple." She explained as Shu's face reddened.

"I don't know how to do that." He looked away feeling embarassed.

"Neither do I. But you'll never know if you never try." The (h/c) haired girl shrugged as Shu gave her a surprised look.

"What do yo-" He was cut off as (Y/N) shut him up with a quick kiss on the lips. The poor albino's face was flushed in red as he was taken by surprise.

(A short timeskip as the author is feeling lazy 😪)

"Dinner's ready everyone!" The female called out from the kitchen as the trio in the living room rushed to the dining table.

"Wow! It looks so delicious!" The trio exclaimed as they had stars in their eyes. (☆▽☆)

"Took you quite a while to make dinner." Wakiya pointed out.

"Were you two doing something other than making dinner?" Honcho asked wiggling his eyebrows before he earned a smack on his head by the albino.

"Shut up!"He scolded as Valt turned to (Y/N).

"But seriously, did something happen between you guys when you were making dinner? Tell us honestly."

(Y/N) and Shu both blushed as she admitted,

"We are together now."

Wakiya and Honcho's jawdropped as Valt gave a proud smile and jumped happily,

"Told ya guys, I was right!"
