"Shu! Here! You need a towel!"

"Thanks."

The albino responded rather coldly to the cheerful female who just handed him a towel and a water bottle.

But the (h/c) haired girl seemed unfazed by his coldness. It seemed as if she'd gotten used to it.

The red eyed male wiped off his sweat as his friends a.k.a. the beyclub watched yet another day of his cold attitude towards the (e/c) eyed girl.

No one's P.O.V.

"And that's how you do it Fubuki."

The red eyed albino smiled at his student who nodded and then pointed behind him.

"I think your girlfriend is here."

He giggled as the albino just made a 'tch' sound before rolling his eyes and turning to see her.

"What do you want huh?"

He asked coldly as the girl just smiled at him and gave him some file papers.

"I think you misplaced these. Y'know, if you misplace them like this, they might get lost."

She said as Shu roughly snatched the file papers from her hand and muttered coldly,

"Thank you. Now go away. I'm busy here."

He said and gave her a shove to the main door. The girl didn't say anything and just left.

Fubuki on the other hand had his jawdropped as he wondered why his mentor was so cold 'specifically' to that cute and innocent girl.

He wondered why his teacher never treated her as his friend even though she used to worry so much for him.

Author's P.O.V.

(Y/N) (L/N) is Shu Kurenai's childhood friend just like Valt and Xander are.
But unlike how happy the albino was with his male friends, he was the exact opposite to the (h/c) girl.

He was very cold and rude towards her.
However, (Y/N) didn't seem to mind his coldness towards her at all.

Since she was little, she knew Shu was the right one for her. And she wasn't going to ever give up on him, no matter how he was to her.

And that was the reason why she stood by his side for years no matter how many times he tried to push her away.

Valt and the beyclub, Fubuki and the second tier of beyclub, and many other people were both amazed and worried for the (e/c) eyed girl.

They were amazed by how she was unfazed by his coldness and worried because they thought that one day Shu might hurt her.

Will there worries come true?

Present time:
Raging Bulls, New York, America:
No one's P.O.V.

'I wonder why Shu's been ignoring me so much lately. I don't think I did anything wrong. Is it because he's busy with Lane or Valt? Or is it simply because of his cold attitude again? I wanna find out.'

A certain (h/c) haired girl thought as she made her way to the office of the owner of the Raging Bulls.

She knocked on the door and heard a faint,
'Come in.'

As soon as she walked in, she saw her childhood friend working amidst a big heap of file papers.

"Oh Shu! Need some help?"

She asked as the red eyed male glanced at her and shook his head,

"No thanks. I can manage."

But (Y/N) being the stubborn girl she was, didn't listen and walked up to him as she began helping him with his work.

Shu rolled his eyes knowing that telling her to go away was useless. So, he just continued with his work whilst letting her help him.

After a while, they'd successfully finished all the works as (Y/N) comfortably flopped down on the chair in front of his desk and stretched her arms.

"Phew...finally done..."

She said and let out a heavy sigh of relief. The red eyed male looked at her and said in a cold tone,

"Now the work is done. Leave."

The (e/c) eyed girl looked at him in disbelief as she retorted,

"Why're you so ungrateful Shu? I just helped you finish your work."

"I never asked you to help me. You did that on your own will. Now just go away."

The girl was very shocked as she thought,

'I know that Shu is cold to me but pushing me away like this? No, this isn't like him.'

Then she asked him straightforward,

"Shu...why have you been ignoring me recently? You're also pushing me away right now. This isn't like you. Did I do something wrong?"

Shu gritted his teeth angrily as he had no idea what came over him. He stood up as his hair covered his eyes and he yelled at the poor girl,

"GET OUT OF HERE RIGHT NOW! I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOU!"

(Y/N)'s eyes widened and tears rolled down her eyes as she quickly stood up and ran away crying and without saying a word.

Just after 15 minutes of her running away, the harsh realisation hit Shu.

The albino sat down on his chair as he held his head in his hands and thought,

'Damn it! Why'd I just do that?! I didn't mean to make her run away like that! Nor did I intended to make her cry! I just...ugh! I just wanted to distance myself from her! Damn it! Damn it!'

Suddenly, he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket so he took it out and saw a text notification from Lain.

Lain: Yo Shu. I just saw (Y/N) run out of the Bulls with a great speed. It's so late at night. Did something happen?

Without thinking for another second, Shu stood up and rushed out of the building as well.

He tried calling and messaging the (h/c) haired girl again and again but with no luck.

Everytime he called her, it would say 'This phone number is currently switched off' and his messages were remaining unseen.

'C'mon you silly girl! Pick up the call! I'm worried sick for you here! C'mon!'

The albino thought as he called her for the 257ᵗʰ time and ran around to all the places he suspected she could be at.

After a while:
No one's P.O.V.

"(Y/N)!!!!"

The boy yelled loudly and ran to the named girl who was fast asleep on a bench near a Marine drive.

"(Y/N)!"

He said again as he came to a stop in front of her and glanced at her sleeping face.

"I've...been running around...trying to find you like a crazy...this whole time...only to see you sleeping here..."

He mumbled to himself as he panted heavily and took out his phone to check the time.

1:25 a.m.
It read.

'She's been sleeping here for nearly 3 hours?! At this rate, she's gonna be sick if she doesn't warm up now.'

The albino thought as he took off his overcoat and covered her in it before picking the sleeping female up in bridal style and walking back to the Raging Bulls.

A little more later:
No one's P.O.V.

"Brr....it's really freezing out there...how can someone fall asleep so easily in such a cold weather?"

Shu mumbled as he entered his warm bedroom and laid down the (e/c) eyed girl on the bed before covering her with a blanket.

He then went to the kitchen to get a glass of warm water for himself.

Meanwhile...

"Warm...so warm...where am I...?"

The sleepyhead female mumbled as she rubbed her eyes and sat up yawning.
The moment her eyes adjusted to the vision, she was shocked.

She found herself in a warm bed which was in a neat and clean room. She looked at what kept her so warm only to see it was the overcoat of the person who shouted at her and made her run away.

"This bedroom...is Shu's?"

"(Y/N)? You're up?"

The (e/c) eyed girl flinched at the voice as she turned to face the person to whom the voice belonged to.

She thought that Shu was going to scold her but things went the opposite of what she expected...

"Are you okay? How do you feel now?"

The red eyed male asked worriedly as he made his way up to her and cupped her cheek with his warm hand.

But the female just remained silent.

"(Y/N)..? Are you alright?"

No response.

"I'm talking to you."

Silence.

"Is this how you show your gratitude to the person who saved you from falling sick and getting kidnapped by strangers?"

Now the cute girl wasn't in a very cute mood. She sharply glared at him and retorted,

"You were the one because of whom I ran away in the first place! Didn't you say you wanted me to leave huh?!"

Shu sighed,

"I get what I did was wrong. But trust me that it wasn't wha-"

He got cut off before he could finish what he was saying.

"Trust you?! What do you think I've been doing all these years?! I trusted you! I gave you so many chances AND ignored the way you were always so cold to me! I ignored the way you always pushed me away and the way you always treated me differently! But what did it all get me to?! Nothing! You always want me to leave you alone! Why?! Just what wrong did I do to you that you're punishing me so harsh?! I'm just a girl who loves you and cares for you! But I am nothing more than a fangirl to you right?!"

The girl ranted out angrily as tears rolled down her cheeks non-stop.

"(Y/N) listen-"

"Listen to what huh?! I've never said a thing to you but now when I'm saying something you want me to listen to you?!"

Shu couldn't help but feel his heart hurt badly as she asked,

"Let me ask you this one time. Who am I to you Shu Kurenai?"

It was a now or never moment for Shu. He wasn't going to lose his last chance.

"You're everything to me (Y/N) (L/N)."

He said as the (h/c) haired girl looked at him in disbelief.

"Oh? You say that now?! After being cold as ice towards me?!"

"I had a reason for that coldness."

"Would you be so kind to share it with me?!"

Shu took in a deep breath and said,

"I was always so cold to you because I was afraid to fall in love with you."

"What? Why?"

"Love is something I have no idea of. And I was afraid that if I fall for you, I might not be able to be the person you want. That's why I pushed you away. I thought you might just find someone better than me. Someone who can love you the way you deserve. But you stuck to my side no matter what happened. I still didn't know anything of couple love. So, I kept pushing you away."

The albino answered as earnestly as he could whilst making eye contact with the girl and wiping away her tears with his thumb.

The female had a sensitive heart and she felt touched by his words. She didn't want to ruin the moment but had to ask,

"But then... even after so many years...you never yelled at me...how come you did that today and that too so angrily?"

"I was stressed out from the work I had."

The boy said and then asked,

"Do you still love me (Y/N)? Even after the countless unforgivable things I did to you?"

"I do. I've always loved and forgiven you. And I always will. No one will ever replace you."

She said with the smile that Shu always loved. And now, the cute and happy (Y/N) was back.

She playfully jumped in Shu's arms and asked,

"You also love me, right?"

"Of course. I love you to the moon and back."

Shu smiled as he felt her nuzzle on his chest.

"This is the best day of my life!"

She said cutely as the albino adjusted their positions in the bed so that they both were under the blanket and comfortable.

"Now my (n/n), go to sleep now."

"Aww...why? What time is it?"

The (e/c) eyed girl whined as she laid on his stomach under the blanket cover.

Shu looked at the wall clock and said,

"3:27 a.m."

"What?! It's that late?!"

She asked and made a '😱' face which made Shu laugh.

"Don't worry. We can sleep till noon in the bed."

"Eh? Really? But what about your work?"

"I'll do it later."

"But what would the people in the team say?"

"They dare not criticize the owner."

"You're bossy but amazing."

The girl said smiling as her new boyfriend kissed her forehead.

She closed her eyes and let the albino stroke her hair.

"Good night, Shu."

She said before drifting off to the dream world as Shu just smiled,

"Good night, sweetheart."

And he also drifted off to a peaceful sleep.
