Tysm for your request. This was kinda different type of a story. But it was interesting to write.
Alright, on with the story....

No one's P.O.V.

A certain (h/c) haired 19 year old girl was working in her lab like any other usual day along with her colleagues.

Suddenly, her phone rang which caused her to stop what she was doing and walk out to answer the call.

As she went outside and glanced at the caller ID, a smile formed on her face as she picked up and answered sweetly,

"Hello?"

"How are you my darling?"

"I'm good. Just doing some research work. How about you? How are you dear?"

"I'm not very good."

Her sweet voice suddenly changed into one of a concerned one as she worriedly asked,

"Why? What happened?"

"I miss you so much that I can't concentrate on my work at all."

The girl sighed in relief as her (e/c) eyes stared out of the window and towards the big blue sunny sky before replying,

"You'll never change, will you?"

"The only thing that will never change about me is the love I feel for you."

"C'mon stop with the flirty lines."

"Oh? Why? When was the last time I flirted with you like this huh?"

"Maybe 5 months ago?"

"Exactly. So it's perfectly justified for me to flirt with you after a time gap of 5 damn months."

The female just sighed in defeat as she imagined a smirking face of her special someone on the other side of the phone.

"Alright, alright. It's useless to argue with you. Why did you call though?"

"I called to inform you that I'm coming to Japan."

Scientist (Y/N)'s eyes went wide with shock and surprise at the same time as she asked excitedly,

"Really? When? Where? When are you coming? Tell me! Tell me!"

Her boyfriend scientist chuckled on the other side, hearing the excitement in her voice as he answered,

"In two days. At the Tokyo International Airport. I wish for my dear (n/n) to come and pick me up."

"Yes! Yes! Of course I'll come to pick you up in person!"

Her excited and sweet voice was enough to make a smile form on the albino's face.

"Alright then, see you at the airport (n/n). Love you so much."

"Love you too Shu!"

(Y/N) responded quickly as she hung up the call and went back to her laboratory to continue her unfinished work whilst thinking about her sweet boyfriend.

H-hola readers! (⁠｡-ω-｡⁠;)⁠ﾉ

It's been a while since I've updated huh? To be honest, there's been a lot going on so I really didn't get the time to write.

Exams, PTMs, Exhibitions, Prelims, blah blah blah and the list just doesn't come to an end.

Anyway forget about me and my trash talk and let's just focus on the story for now, okay?

Back to the story introduction now!

You are (Y/N) (L/N) a renowned scientist and researcher who works in Japan. You are pretty high leveled so you enjoy several special privileges along with getting an entire lab building for yourself.

Shu Kurenai is another scientist and researcher who works in America. He's the same as you. High leveled, enjoying several special privileges, etc. Though he's born in Japan, for some research purposes, he had to move to America.

Both him and you are hardworking and dedicated professionals who can do anything if it comes to achieve something from science.

Fun fact:

Both of you are a couple as well. But of course due to your work, both of you are rarely able to spend time together. In addition he lives in another country, so that's also a reason why your distance can be grouped in 'long-distance relationship' category.

Two days later:
At the Tokyo International Airport:
No one's P.O.V.

(Y/N) was currently at the airport, looking here and there, trying to find a certain albino amongst the people in the crowd.

'Where is he? Where is he? Did he already leave or am I here too early? No wait- I can't be too early because the flight has just arrived. Maybe I should try to call hi-'

The (h/c) haired girl's train of thoughts were interrupted as a pair of big and warm hands covered her eyes from behind.

"Guess who?~"

A familiar voice purred as the female placed her hands on top of the person's and giggled,

"My Shu~"

The albino smiled as he took his hands off of her eyes and she turned around to face him with the cutest smile she had.

"I missed you so much!!!"

She said and jumped on him, giving him a tight hug as Shu almost lost his balance. He chuckled wrapping one arm around her to return the hug as his other hand, held onto his luggage before responding,

"I missed you too sweetheart. You have no idea how happy I am right now."

Pulling away and looking into his crimson eyes, the (e/c) eyed girl smiled happily as she took his hand and started to drag him out of the airport whilst talking about all the new things that had been going on and how she was so lonely without him, etc.

Shu just smiled as he listened while they got into a taxi which took them straight to (Y/N)'s lab.

Timeskip to when you two reach the lab:
No one's P.O.V.

(Y/N) pulled Shu by the hand inside her lab, showing the excitement of a child as she lead him straight to her private working area.

"How is it?"

She asked as the red eyed albino looked around with a small smile on his face.

(This is your lab interior)

"Beautiful. It's just like you. Partly organised and partly a mess."

Shu replied looking over at her who had a frown on her face.

"I'm not sure if that was a compliment or an insult."

She huffed as he giggled,

"Have I ever insulted you my dear?"

"Not really. But tell me, are you hungry?"

"A little bit. Why?"

"I'm hungry too. Go and freshen up and then I'll serve the food. It's almost lunch time."

She said and took his suitcase to her big bedroom as the albino smiled before heading off to the bathroom.

At the dining table:
No one's P.O.V.

"Food's ready!"

The (h/c) haired scientist called out as Shu walked in the dining room and sat down on one of the chairs.

Eyeing the food he asked with a smile,

"This looks so delicious. Is this our lunch?"

The female nodded as her (e/c) eyes glimmered in happiness.

"This is the best I could make in such a short time."

She smiled and scratched her nape sheepishly as Shu giggled slightly,

"You've sure improved in cooking (n/n)."

"Hehe. Save the compliment. Eat the food first."

The red eyed scientist smiled and nodded as he started to eat the food and so did the (e/c) eyed scientist.

"Okay, I'm taking my words back. This food tastes like it's been made by a 5 star chef."

He complimented as the girl blushed lightly before smiling at him and mouthing a 'thank you'.

After lunch:

At Night:
In the bedroom:
Second person or 'You' P.O.V.

You and Shu were currently cuddling in your big double bed and talking about various science and research stuff until a certain topic had come up.

"You know Shu, I really miss you so much. Not having you around really makes me feel sad. But I guess it can't be helped. Both of us have our research works..."

You sighed sadly as he stroke your hair soothingly before replying,

"I know (n/n). I miss you too. I can't help but look at your pictures and the videos we made together everytime I get off work."

"Hmm..."

You didn't bother to respond to him as your eyes were starting to feel droopy and his strokes were making you feel even more sleepy.

Shu had a small smile form on his face as he continued to do that until you were fully asleep.

After he was sure you were sleeping soundly he thought,

'A long distance relationship like ours won't be able to work out in the future. I need to do something about this as soon as possible. I can't lose (n/n). But what can I do? Hmm...Oh! I know! I got an idea!'

He soon thought of something to make both of you happy in this relationship and too drifted off to the dreamworld with a smile on his face.

A month later after Shu went back to America:
No one's P.O.V.

A colleague scientist came up to (Y/N) and informed her,

"Ms. (L/N), we've been informed that a new scientist along with his team will be coming to join us in the laboratory. From now on, he and his team will be working here only."

"Oh, I see. Thanks."

The (h/c) haired girl responded blankly as she went back to her work while thinking,

'It's been a month since Shu left and now suddenly a new scientist is coming here with their team? I wonder who they are. Just hoping they will be able to adapt to the environment here and won't be too nosy.'

Then she decided to go and atleast greet the scientist. So the female stood up and went towards the main door of the lab where many of her other colleagues were waiting as well.

After a while:

The group of scientists heard the sound of several vehicles outside and they knew that the other party has arrived.

They all stood up along with their head scientist (Y/N) and awaited the other group to come in.

As soon as the door opened, she was shocked as she recognised the head scientist who was the first to walk in.

"It's been a while, isn't it...(n/n)?"

"SHU!!!!"

The (e/c) eyed girl ran straight to him and jumped in his arms, embracing him in a tight hug as he returned it with a wide smile on his face.

Kissing his cheek, she looked at him and asked excitedly,

"You're the scientist who will stay here with us from now? How did you manage to get a transfer here?"

"Well the last time we met, I just couldn't shake off the sadness I saw in your face when you were talking about how much you miss me. So, I took a little advantage of my reputation and asked for a transfer back to my country. I told them that I feel 'homesick'."

The albino winked at her as she giggled,

"Maybe you should've said you felt 'lovesick'."

"Haha. Very funny. Well, now we can say goodbye to our long distance relationship and live in one full of affection."

The red eyed scientist smiled as his words didn't go off topic even by a bit.

The lovely couple were both about to lean in and give a passionate kiss to each other until...

"Ahem! Ahem!"

Their colleagues in the background cleared their throats and crossed their arms. One of them said,

"Stop your PDA because except you two, all of us here are still single." *😑*

Both (Y/N) and Shu quickly pulled away from the hug and smiled awkwardly at the rest of the group before going in the big laboratory for a nice introduction and meal.

Finally wrote a one shot and made a comeback...
I'm sorry I made you wait this long for your request Priya. But there were just so many things going on in my life. 🥲
