[Angel and Devil AU]

There were three worlds: Heaven, Hell and Earth. The people of Earth did not know about the existence of the other two worlds. Their existence to them was a conspirational topic. But those worlds were real.

And the belief that demons and angels existed was also true. Heaven was ruled by the (L/N) archangel family while Hell was ruled by the Kurenai demon family.

There were no rules in Hell about the adulthood so that meant that the prince was just as powerful as the king. But in order to be the righteous king, he had to have a queen.

Whereas in Heaven, in order to be the adult, the angels were meant to first find a mate and then they were given their fully fledged adult angel powers.

In Hell there were like literally no rules but in Heaven there were hard and fast rules and all the angels were supposed to follow them.

And this was the main reason why young angels would often get kidnapped by the demons and then had to be rescued by the adult angels.

There was an age old saying between the two worlds:

'Demons and angels can never be together. It's impossible.'

But was it really true in the case of demon prince Shu Kurenai and angel princess (Y/N) (L/N)? Let's read and find out...

No one's P.O.V.

"Let me go you demon! You don't know what my parents are capable of!"

A certain (h/c) haired girl said angrily as the chains to which she was tied rattled about.

The demon in front of her chuckled,

"Sure. We'll see about that later. And for now as much as I know there's a rule that you can't be with strangers until you're an adult, right? Well then, how about I make you break it and make you a fallen angel?~"

"W-what?! Don't you dare!"

The girl said startled and scared at the same time. The demon just smirked and moved closer to her.

Anyone wondering what's going on? Let's take a little flashback to understand.

Flashback:

An archangel was on her regular stroll in the Earthly world. She was walking around and making sure that everything on the earth was going alright.

But since she was still young, another fully fledged demon who was also on Earth for creating chaos saw her and took advantage of this.

He captured the angel and brought her to hell in the palace of the royals. He'd even the tied the poor thing up in chains.

Now I can continue, right? Hope this short flashback was helpful. 😋

As he was about to reach out to the girl, the door of the the prison she was in was opened as a demon with a rather bored expression came in.

"Come on, (R/G). Just leave that thing for me. I want to have some fun with her too."
It was none other than the prince demon, a.k.a., Shu Kurenai.

(Y/N)'s eyes went wide as she recognised him. Even though, she had never met him in person, she knew about him because of how infamous he was among the angels in Heaven.

"Tch. Why? This one is the prettiest one I've seen so far." (R/G) groaned.

"And that's why she's my property." The albino demon said.

"But-"

Shu cut him off before he could even finish his sentence properly,

"Listen here. I'm not in the mood of fighting today. So, it's better for you to obey what I say before I burn you to ashes."

(R/G) rolled his eyes before walking out of there and leaving the the prince demon and the princess angel alone.

After he was out of sight, Shu eyed the angel in front of him and walked up close to her.

"Hm? Those are some beautiful pair of wings." He said as he touched the girl's wings.

(Let's say these are your wings. I kinda like the crying girl there. 😶)

"D-don't touch them l-like that." (Y/N) whimpered as she felt pain when he plucked at a feather.

Shu looked at her and his eyes widened slightly as he asked,

"Aren't you the archangel princess of heaven? What was your name again...hm...oh yeah (Y/N) (L/N), was it?"

"Yes, I am. But how do you know me?" The girl asked as she didn't expect him to actually know her.

"I'm not like other demons busy goofing around..." The red eyed male scoffed as he continued,

"...I spend more time in gaining knowledge about the worlds I don't know about."

"Oh? But why?" She asked again making him scoff once more.

"Can't I have interests like humans and angels?"

"I'm sorry for the offense." (Y/N) apologised and bowed down her head.

"This is the thing. Angels apologize so much. While demons don't."

He said and smirked as he lifted her chin up and looked straight in her (h/c) eyes. The girl flinched as she saw how deadly a demon's eyes could look up close.

"Not gonna lie, your eyes are a beautiful shade of (e/c)." He murmured.

"But I thought demons were always liars."

The girl tilted her head innocently as Shu chuckled,

"Such a naive princess."

Then turning a little serious he began,

"I'll untie you..."

"Wait really?" (Y/N) was already excited.

"...but only if you promise to not fly away as soon as I do." He finished. Shu knew very well that angels never lied.

The female thought for a moment then nodded. Shu smirked then slowly untied the chains around the young angel.

As soon as he was done, (Y/N) let out a heavy sigh of relief as she spread her wings and let them flutter around for a while.
Shu just chuckled at her before she turned and asked,

"Hey, why're you being so nice to me? Aren't you supposed to be like other demons going around and killing angels for fun?"

Shu stopped and looked at her and then smiled in a not so scary way,

"Just like I said I like to know about the worlds I don't know about, I also prefer to know about the creatures I don't know..."

He moved closer to her as she started backing away and he continued,

"...and you seem like a pretty interesting creature to know about~"

"O-okay s-so w-what?" The angel stammered.

"I have a fun hypothetical. And I'd like you to hear it out." The albino demon said as he got a hold of one of the angel's wrists.

"What is it?" She asked panicking because the demon was stronger than her.

"What would happen if a demon and an angel fell in love and had a child?" He asked as he smirked, seeing the angel's face turn red.

"That can't happen! It's impossible!" She exclaimed and freed her wrist.

"Just because the elders say it? They have never tried it, have they?" Shu questioned.

"You might be right but it's against the rules and-" The (h/c) haired girl got cut off by the albino,

"Rules, rules rules. That's all about heaven and you angels isn't it? Why don't you actually try breaking the rules for once and see it for yourself how fun it actually is?"

"But wouldn't I become a fallen angel if I do that?"

"No, you won't. You're the only daughter the king and queen have so there's no way that they'll actually shun out their only heir."

"Why should I trust a demon like you?"
Shu smirked as he moved his face close to hers and said,

"Have I tried anything bad on you? Or have I lied to you yet?"

"N-no." The girl blushed.

"Then? I promise you I'm not like other demons." He said as he did an unexpected thing.

He hugged (Y/N). But carefully enough to make sure he doesn't hurt her wings. The girl was shocked but then slowly hugged him back as her wings wrapped around the both of them.

"T-then I think I can t-trust you. B-but would the elders a-approve?" She asked.

"If they don't then don't worry I'm just gonna get rid of them." The albino said as his red eyes glowed and he smirked evilly.

"O-okay. What do you want me to do?"

"Be mine." Were the two words the albino said which made the archangel look like a tomato.

Seeing this, Shu smiled at how cute she looked like that before sealing his lips with hers.

(Y/N) couldn't believe she was actually being kissed by a demon. And not just a normal demon, a demon prince.

She didn't know what else to do so she just decided to follow his movements.
It looked like an iconic scene from a movie. An angel and a demon kissing each other.

As they broke the kiss, they didn't realise that their parents were standing right behind Shu.

(Y/N)'s face turned white as she feared what they'll do to her. She shakily pointed a finger behind Shu.

Shu raised an eyebrow before he looked behind and his eyes widened slightly.

"So, you've found a mate for yourself?" Mr. Kurenai asked.

"It seems so dad." Shu replied monotonously.

"Impossible! Our daughter is not going to marry a demon!" Mrs. (L/N) cried out.

"But mom, I want to see where this relationship goes to. I'm grown up enough for this." (Y/N) insisted as her dad shook his head.

"Demons can never be trusted."

Shu looked at Mr. (L/N) and said with the utmost sincerity in his voice,

"Sir, I understand you've got your reason to worry about your daughter but I promise to you that I won't break her heart. I'll protect her with my life."

Everyone's eyes widened at Shu's sincere words. And for some reason, the demon and the archangel king and queen agreed after they discussed it between themselves.

"We give you one chance to prove yourselves. And we hope you won't disappoint us." Mrs. Kurenai declared and the elders walked away.

After they left, Shu turned to (Y/N) and asked,

"Do you believe in me?"

"Any other angel would say no but in my case, I do. I won't regret this later, will I?" She asked with innocent eyes.

Shu chuckled and said,

"Of course not. I will make sure of that."

He pulled her close to himself and whispered in her ear,

"I love you, my angel."

(Y/N) blushed but smiled as she whispered back,

"I love you too, my demon prince."

I'm curious what Shu and my- I mean Shu and your child would be like. Will he/she have both the powers of the demon and the angel? 👀
