❄️ Merry Christmas my dear readers! ❄️
This is a Christmas present for y'all from my side! I hope you all will like it. This story is completely my imagination of how Shu and I would spend Christmas together. 😋
Alright on with the story...

"Shu, wake up! Wake up!" A female exclaimed jumping on a king sized bed and over a sleeping person.

"5 more minutes, (Y/N). *Yawns* I was up till 11:30 p.m. yesterday. I'm still tired. Besides, it was snowing, so it's too cold for me to get up, this early."
Said a voice from under the red fluffy blanket.

"I said wake up!" She shook him, straddled him, and did everything to get him out of the bed.

"Shu, stop acting like Valt. Wake up!" She exclaimed.

"You are the one jumping on the bed like him and I'm the one acting like him?" He chuckled.

"Anyway, what time is it?" He asked in a sleepy tone.

"It's 7:30 a.m. And are you gonna wake up, now?" She asked inpatiently.

"Hmm....nope. Not yet." Shu said sleepily opening his eyes and looking at his girlfriend.

"What?! But-" Before (Y/N) could finish she was pulled down into the blanket and in her boyfriend's arms.

"Hey! I'm not sleepy!"

She said struggling to free herself. Shu just smiled and snuggled her neck and shoulders making her shut up and blush at the sudden affection.

"What day is it, sweetheart?"
Shu asked smiling and burying his face in her neck.

"It's 24th December. The day of Christmas Eve!" She said cheerfully but still blushing.

"Alright I'm getting up just because of you." Shu said getting up and pulling her along with him.

"So, are you coming to decorate the Christmas tree with me?" The (h/c) girl smiled as she asked him.

"Not yet. I have some work to do." He said patting his now frowning girlfriend's head.

"Why do you always have to be such a workaholic?" She pouted.

Shu chuckled as he poked her cheeks and said,

"It's not my fault. There has been so many new bladers joining the team, recently. I need to see and maintain all of their records."

"But-"
Shu cut her off by cupping her face and then sweetly kissing her forehead. Then he gave her an apologetic smile and said,

"I promise I'll make it as quick as possible. But to finish off early, I need to start off early."

"Fine. I guess I'll just wait then." (Y/N) said as she watched her boyfriend get up and go in the bathroom for a shower.

(Big Timeskip to evening 5:00 p.m. with (Y/N) waiting for Shu with a cute annoyed face.)
Reader's P.O.V.

Where is Shu? He said he'll be back by 3:00 p.m. It's 2 hours late, already. I'm sick of waiting. Now, I'm gonna go and check on him.

Wait, he isn't in the office? Where in the world did he go then? Oh hang on, I think I know. Let's check the training arena.

Yup. Just like I thought. He's training with his bey again. I walked over to the stadium he was training at and launched my bey in as well.

(B/N) knocked Spryzen out of the stadium. Shu had wide eyes as he looked over at me.

"(Y/N)? Why did you do that?"

This pissed me off even more as I walked to him and asked,

"First tell me, why didn't you come home? I was waiting for you!"

"Woah, woah, calm down. I just stopped for a bit to train with Spryzen. What time is it?"

"It is 5:10!" I said angrily.

"It's that late?! I must have lost track of time. I'm so sorry, love." He apologized.

"It's alright. But can we go and decorate the tree now?" I whined.

"Yeah sure. Just let me train for a bit more."

He said making me facepalm. His constant training attitude can really frustrate me sometimes. But still, I decided to wait.

I looked at my watch and IT IS 6:30 already?! Alright, this is it. Why can't Spryzen just disappear? I understand how much Shu values it but...

Oh wait, I have an idea...what if Spryzen really disappears? And to make it better, comes back as Christmas Special? Yeah that's it! I'm gonna decorate Spryzen!

Shu and I are in the living room, gathering the items to decorate the tree. Suddenly, his phone started to ring. I looked at him.

"Hello?.........Oh, those files?........Yeah, I'll be there in a few minutes with them." Shu answered and hung up.

"Hey Shu, who was it?" I asked.

"It was Fubuki. He asked me for the files that I forgot to give him. I have them here, I'm gonna go and give them to him."
Shu replied heading to the door but then stopped and turned around.

I tilted my head a bit, confused as he walked back to me and said,

"I'm sorry, you will have to decorate the tree alone..."

"It's okay. I understand."

I said reassuring him. He gave me a quick kiss on the lips, which made me blush. Then he left.

No one's P.O.V.

(Y/N) walked to their room where she thought Shu would have left Spryzen. And...she was correct. It was there.

So, she picked it up and asked,

"Hey Spryzen, would you mind if I decorate you for Christmas? I promise it won't be too excessive and you'll be able to battle perfectly with the decorations on!"

Astral Spryzen just glowed in approval, making the (h/c) girl smile.

"Yes! Now, I'll surprise Shu!" The girl smiled taking Spryzen away.

"And.....done!"

(Y/N) exclaimed, setting down Spryzen on the table. She had decorated the quad drive bey with lots of ribbons and little beads and many other such things.

"So...do you like it?" The female asked the bey in her hand. Spryzen glowed, showing it did.

"(Y/N)? Have you seen Spryzen anywhere? I can't find it. I'm sure I left it on the counter in our room." Shu called out walking in.

This made (Y/N) nervous as she quickly shoved his bey in her pocket where (B/N) was.

"No. I haven't. I was busy decorating the tree." (Y/N) lied as she nervously smiled. Shu narrowed his eyes as he walked closer to her....suspicious...

"Really?" Shu asked placing his hands on his waist and now standing right in front of her.

The female just nodded nervously.

"Hmm...then let me check..." Shu said as he reached out for (Y/N)'s dress pockets. She quickly got out of the way.

"(Y/N)! What did you do with Spryzen?!"

Shu half yelled as he reached out for her.

"Nothing!" She retorted and headed out of the door.

"Then why are you running?! Get back here!" Shu yelled as he started to run after her.

And began a cat and mouse chase between (Y/N) and Shu... (I think I'll beat Shu in the run or perhaps you will ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

Thankfully, everyone was in their respective rooms, so no would see them.

"(Y/N)! Stop right now!"

Shu yelled chasing his girlfriend. The (h/c) girl didn't stop and continued to run as fast as she could.

She hid behind a pillar, hoping Shu wouldn't find her there. She looked down at her pocket, only to see Spryzen... resonating? This means that...

"Finally I got you~"

Shu cooed coming from behind the pillar and grabbing her hands.

"Shu!" (Y/N) was startled.

"Now where is Spryzen?" Shu asked sternly before he noticed his partner glowing in her pocket.

"I knew it. Who else would dare to touch my bey other tha- WHAT DID YOU DO?!"

Shu asked looking at his Christmas Bey. He looked at (Y/N) and asked frustrated,

"How will Spryzen battle like this?!"

"Yes, it can. I kept that in mind while decorating. Even he likes it! Right Spryzen?"

The girl winked as the quad drive bey glowed in approval, leaving Shu's jaw dropped.

"What the-" was all he managed to say.

"See?" She exclaimed making Shu roll his eyes and sigh.

"So, now can we go and decorate the house?" (Y/N) asked tilting her head innocently.

"You are like a decoration freak, today..."

Shu began as he picked her up bridal style suddenly. Then he continued...

"...if you want so much decoration, then maybe I should also 'decorate' you for Christmas~" That made the girl in his arms blush instantly.

"S-Shut up!" She screeched, hitting his arms. But that didn't work as Shu let out a hearty laugh.

"You're cute~" He teased her.

"Alright let's go home." And he walked back with (Y/N) in his arms.

The couple were back home and had finished doing everything. From decorations to food, everything was perfect.

"All done!"

(Y/N) said plopping herself down on their bed. Shu walked in with a satisfied smile and took a seat beside his girlfriend.

"Happy now? The whole house is looking like a big Christmas tree with lots of lights and decorations on."

Shu asked as he ruffled her hair. She nodded.

Then she suddenly pulled Shu down with her, surprising him.

"What are you doing?"

Shu asked raising an eyebrow. The female said nothing but pointed up. Shu looked up and saw a mistletoe hanging on the ceiling.

"Mistletoe in our room? (n/n) is that the reason why you were rushing to finish the decorations? You could've just asked if you wanted it so badly..." Shu smirked.

He got on top of (Y/N) and gave her a long and passionate kiss. Then adjusting their positions, they were now inside the blanket.

"I can't wait for tomorrow. Merry Christmas, Shu..." (Y/N) mumbled before falling asleep

Shu chuckled as he kissed her forehead and brought her closer to himself. Then he muttered...

"Merry Christmas, my (Y/N)..."

And he fell asleep, the last thing he remembered was cuddling the love of his life.

BONUS: In the morning:~
No one's P.O.V.

"*Yawns* (Y/N)...calm down...I'm not going anywhere..." Shu said sleepily as he got dragged out of the bed (Y/N) and into the living room, near the Christmas tree.

(Y/N) took out a present and excitedly smiled at Shu and squealed,

"Open it, open it! It's a present from me to you for Christmas!"

Shu chuckled as he looked at the gift he was given. Beautiful red and yellow wrapping paper with a white ribbon and little silver stars to finish

"You spent a lot of time wrapping this up, didn't you?" He asked patting his girlfriend's head as she nodded.

Shu carefully opened it only to reveal a (decide your gifts, cause I'm pretty sure I'm not gonna tell y'all mine (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧).

Shu had a wide smile plastered on his face as he settled the present down on the couch.

"So...do you like it?"

The girl asked jumping excitedly for his answer. When he didn't reply, she got worried and said,

"Did you not-" (Y/N) began but got cut off when she was pulled in a kiss and tight embrace at the same time.

Pulling away, Shu answered, "I love it. Thank you (Y/N). Now wanna see what I got for you?"

This made her tug at Shu's shirt playfully as she exclaimed, "Yes, yes, yes, please!"

Shu laughed before giving her a box wrapped in (favourite colours) wrapping paper and ribbon.

(Y/N) excitedly opened the box only to find (now decide your gifts as well...because I'm pretty sure everyone wants something different (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧) inside.

"Shu!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!! I always wanted this! You're the best!"

She exclaimed tackling him down in a hug, making both of them sit on the floor as Shu laughed.

"I knew you would love it." Shu said resting his forehead on hers.

"Now how about we go and eat our Christmas feast?" He asked.

(Y/N) gave him a short kiss on the lips as she said, "Yeah! This is the best Christmas ever!"

And it was a beautiful and white Christmas for the lovely couple. They spent the whole day, doing couple things, playing in the snow and most importantly... celebrating Christmas!

So, I'm back. And my exams are over. I'm literally biting my nails, hoping that the results would be above 95% or else I'm dead meat. Even if I get 94.5%, my mom will kill me. Btw, this was a long oneshot. I hope you all would like it. If not then I'm really very sorry. 😞
