(No one's P.O.V.)

"I'm sorry I'm troubling you, Shu. I know you have to manage an entire company, but it's just one day." Mrs. (L/N) said with an apologetic smile on.

"It's no problem, Mrs. (L/N). I'm sure I can manage this." Shu smiled reassuringly.

"That's a relief to hear."

Mrs. (L/N) said before turning to a little girl who was hiding behind her. Mrs. (L/N) bend down at the child's level as she smiled sweetly and said,

"Okay (Y/N), mommy and daddy are going to see grandpa. Be like a good girl until we come back, okay? Shu here is going to take care of you."

The little girl named (Y/N) looked behind her mother as Shu smiled and waved at her. Then she turned back to her mom and replied with a bright smile,

"Okay, mommy! Don't forget to bring me chocolates!"

Mrs. (L/N) sighed before smiling again, "You and your sweet tooth cravings..."

Then she stood up and walked away waving at her little daughter, "Bye sweetheart!"

"Bye, mommy!"

The girl waved back as the older lady went out of Shu's office. Then she turned to the boy who was standing behind her,

"Will you play with me, Shu san?"

Shu just smiled as he bend down at her level and replied pointing to the couch,

"Maybe later. I got some work to do. You can play on the sofa with your toys over there."

"Okay!"

The girl said before she walked to the couch with her little doll like legs. Shu smiled at how adorable she looked, before going to his desk to do his work. Since, the couch was right in front of his desk, he could easily keep an eye on (Y/N).

(A short timeskip)

Shu was quietly working on his laptop and (Y/N) was playing with her toys on the couch. They heard the door of his office open and turned their heads to see who it was.

The person was none other than Shu's student, Fubuki Sumiye. Seeing him, little (Y/N) first stared at him and then looked at Shu and then back at Fubuki.

"Hey Shu. Who's this girl?" Fubuki asked politely with a small smile.

"Hey Fubuki. This is (Y/N). She's the daughter of one of my mom's close friends. Today, I'm babysitting her." Shu replied.

"Oh." Fubuki nodded in understanding as he made his way to (Y/N) and smiled,

"Hello, nice to meet you. I'm Fubuki."

"Are you Shu's son?" The girl asked tilting her head innocently.

Both Shu's and Fubuki's face turned red at her question. Shu cleared his throat and explained,
"No, (Y/N). He's my student."

"Student? Are you a teacher then?" The little girl asked.

"You can say that."

Shu responded and flashed a smile her way. (Y/N) then turned to Fubuki and pleaded while holding her arms outwards,

"Up! Up!"

Fubuki only smiled and picked her up and then walked to Shu's desk.

"Shu, do you mind if I take a day off of practice?"

"Why?" Shu asked looking at his student.

"Because Aiger said he's coming with Ranjiro, Suoh and the rest to visit and battle with me." Fubuki explained.

"Oh, alright then. I approve to your day off." Shu smiled.

"Thanks Shu." Fubuki also smiled before he slowly lowered down little (Y/N). Then he also kneeled down to her level and said,

"Bye (Y/N). I'll see you later."

"Bye Fubuki san!" The little girl waved with her little hands as Fubuki mouthed an, "Aww!" with a smile before he walked out of Shu's office.

After he was gone, (Y/N) ran to Shu's chair and patted his lap with both her hands.

"What is it, (Y/N)?" Shu asked as a small smile crept up on his face.

"I want to sit on your lap, Shu san!" The (h/c) haired girl exclaimed excitedly.

Shu giggled before he began, "Alright. But just call me Shu, okay?..."

He picked her up and set her down on his lap as he continued, "...play silently okay? I'm doing some important work."

The little girl smiled and nodded as Shu turned his attention back to his work.

(Short timeskip to 2 hours later)

Shu had finished his work for the most part and was thinking of taking a break until...

"Shu! Shu!" (Y/N) called out to him as she started pulling his coat with her little hands. Shu looked down at her and smiled,

"Yes, (Y/N)? What is it?"

"I'm hungry! I'm hungry!" She exclaimed. Shu just chuckled at the child's cuteness before he began,

"Alright. What do you want to eat? We can go and get it from the cafeteria, okay?"

"Okay!"

(Y/N) said as Shu picked her up in his arms and got up from his chair before walking out of his office and towards the cafeteria.

"Okay, (Y/N). We're at the cafeteria. Now sit here and I'll bring you the food." Shu said as he set the girl down on one of the chairs.

After a while he came back as (Y/N)'s eyes sparkled in excitement when she saw what Shu was holding.

Shu chuckled as he said, "I know it's your favourite. Your mom told me about it."

(The food Shu brought. You guys can change your items if you want. ^_^)

Shu sat on the chair beside (Y/N) as he pulled a napkin and placed it on the girl's lap.

"Now, I'll feed you, okay? I don't want you spilling it on your clothes."
He said as he took a spoonful of it and gently blew at it before feeding it to (Y/N).

"It's so delicious! I want more! I want more!" (Y/N) said excitedly as Shu giggled and continued to feed her slowly.

After (Y/N) finished, Shu wiped her mouth and put the plates and napkin away while (Y/N) drank a glass of water.

Picking her up again, he asked, "Now want to go to sleep? You must be tired, right?"

(Y/N) nodded as she yawned and laid her head on his shoulder and he walked back to his office.

'I think I should let her sleep on the sofa. That way I can keep an eye on her and she can also sleep in comfort.' Shu thought.

Entering his office, he made his way up to the couch and laid (Y/N) down. He was about to go and get a blanket before he felt a little hand grab his own. Looking down, he saw (Y/N) looking at him.

"Shu, can you sing me a lullaby?" She asked innocently. Shu felt a little embarrassed as he confessed,

"I really don't know how to sing, (Y/N)."

"Then read me a story instead." She pleaded again.

"But your mom didn't leave any story books for you and I don't have any here in the office." He explained as he sat down beside the girl.

(Y/N) sleepily crawled up on his lap and laid her head down on it and said,

"Then how will I sleep? Mom always sings for me and dad always reads me stories."

Shu gently stroked her hair as he said, "Maybe...you can talk with me until you fall asleep?" He offered.

"Talk about what?" She asked.

"Say, what do you want to be when you grow up?"

He asked as he looked down at her. The (h/c) girl thought for a while before she answered,

"I...want to be a blader like you."

"Like me?" The albino asked as he raised an eyebrow and the kid nodded.

"Yeah. I've seen your battles on TV. You're so strong. Can I see your bey?" She asked as she looked up at him.

"Sure." Shu smiled as he took out Spryzen from his pocket. "This is my partner, Turbo Spryzen."

(Y/N) took the red bey from his hands and looked at it with sparkling eyes.

"It's so cool. I also want a beyblade!" She exclaimed. Shu laughed lightly before he replied,

"You're too young for that right now. You can get it when you grow up."

Shu ruffled her hair as she pouted, "Then I want to grow up fast!" This made Shu laugh.

"We'll see about that later. For now, you need to sleep."

He said as he began stroking her hair again making her slowly feel sleepy.

(Y/N) was almost asleep and Shu was about to lay her head down on the couch before he heard her mumble something which made him widen his eyes...

"Shu....I.....love you...."

Shu just sat there processing what (Y/N) had just said. After a minute or so, he snapped out of his train of thoughts and smiled.

'You're quite a knowledgeable kid according to your age, (Y/N). Nevertheless, I also love you.'

After that, the rest of the day Shu decided to spend the rest of his day playing with (Y/N). He played with her all the childish games she asked him to and even gave her Spryzen to play with for a little while.

(Y/N) on the other hand was really very happy to get to learn about beyblading and to have Shu as a big brother to her.

At the end of the day, (Y/N)'s parents came to take her home. Mr. (L/N) went to his car with his sleeping daughter in his arms while Mrs. (L/N) stayed back and thanked Shu.

"Thanks for babysitting (Y/N) for the day, Shu. I hope she didn't bother you as much."
She thanked with a gentle smile.

"Not at all, Mrs. (L/N). Your daughter is a very nice child..." He smiled as he continued,

"...also, I heard that you and (Y/N)'s dad have to go to a business trip for a week? I'd be more than happy to babysit (Y/N) for the meantime."
