No one's P.O.V.

Shu was taking his usual stroll across the Bulls. He was walking in the big halls and thinking,

'Just how do I confess my love to (Y/N)? She's always been my crush ever since she joined this team. She even is such a strong blader. She helps the team win every tournament. She's such a hardworking blader too. Everything about her makes me want to just go up to her and kiss her.'

As the albino was lost in these thoughts, he didn't notice that his crush was now in the same training room as him.

"Hey Shu. Good morning!"

She smiled and walked closer to him as Shu got snapped out of his thoughts and turned to face her. His heartbeat sped up when he saw her.

Everytime you walk into the room
Got me feeling crazy
Shock my heart boom boom

Shu quickly averted his eyes and looked the other way, making the (h/c) haired girl confusingly tilt her head to her side.
'How the hell did I not notice that (Y/N) is so close to me?!' He thought.

Any other boy would stare
But me, I look away
'Cause you're making me scared

"Hey Shu are you okay? Why are you looking away?" (Y/N) asked a bit concerned as she got a hold of his shoulders and made him face her. Shu just froze on his spot.

Tryin' not to breathe 1, 2, 3
Tryin' not to freak when you look at me
Gotta make a move but I freeze

"Shu? Hey, you okay?" She asked as she waved her hand a few times in front of his face.

'No, I'm not. It's because of you (Y/N). You're making me feel butterflies in my stomach and my mind feels like it's going crazy.' Shu thought as he wasn't able to make eye contact with the girl.

"I think you're sick Shu. Your face is all red. Maybe you should take rest?" (Y/N) advised as Shu quickly trotted out of there and back to his office.
Even back at his office, he couldn't stop thinking about her.

'Gosh! Why is it so hard to keep my focus and fight off the butterflies in my stomach when (Y/N) is around me?!' Shu thought as he sat down on his chair. He held his head in his hands as he thought on how to confess his feelings to his crush.

'I won't ever be able to confess my feelings to (Y/N) if I don't stop being shy around her. But I just can't help it! I don't want to face the pain of rejection and then ruin our friendship if she doesn't like me back. But- ugh! Keeping my feelings bottled up inside isn't a good idea either.

But what if she already likes someone else or worse, she already has a boyfriend?
Wait! Stop right there Shu Kurenai! You're overthinking all of  it again!

If I really want to show (Y/N), how much I love her then I have gotta go and confess it to her without overthinking so much!'
Shu thought.

Rejection is a word that I don't wanna know
But a girl like you could kill a boy real slow

Shu had made up his mind for the confession and so he got up and went out of his office to search for (Y/N).

'Okay. Calm yourself down Shu. You've got all the words you need to say right in your mind. All you've gotta do is tell all of it to (Y/N) without stammering.'

He thought as he tried to self motivate himself. As he was taking in deep breaths, he once again didn't realise that (Y/N) was coming straight to him from the opposite end of the hall.

He didn't notice her until he bumped into the girl and made her fall down.

"Ow!" She exclaimed as she fell down as Shu's eyes widened and he quickly helped her up.

"I-I'm s-sorry, (Y/N). I was spacing out and didn't see you there." He apologized awkwardly as (Y/N) shook her head.

"It's okay Shu. But have you got something bothering you from the past few days?" She asked as he blinked confusingly at her.

"What do you mean?"

"Everytime I see you, you're either spacing out or trying to avoid me. Is there anything wrong?"

Shu just froze on his spot again.

A million words stuck up in my head
Waiting to be said but my tongue is stumbling

'Just how is it so easy for other people to maintain their cool around their crushes? I can't even speak properly and now she's worried about me for no reason.'

Shu looked in those beautiful (e/c) eyes of the (h/c) haired girl as he took a long and deep breath in and said assertively,
"(Y/N) (L/N) I need to tell you something."

The (h/c) haired girl was kinda taken aback by the sudden change in the tone of voice of Shu.

"Okay. What is it?" She asked as slight hints of red were now visible on Shu's cheeks.

Can't even talk to you

Shu shut his eyes tightly and said in one breath,

"I love you! So, will you be my girlfriend?"
This time she was the one to freeze as her brain tried to process what Shu had just said.

Shu opened his eyes and saw that (Y/N) had still not replied. He was imagining his worst fears of her rejecting him, then breaking up their friendship and then leave him and the Bulls.

"I-it's o-o-okay if y-you don't b-but-" He got cut off as a pair of arms were quickly wrapped around his neck and soft lips were sealed with his.

Shu quickly closed his eyes as he started to kiss back and enjoy the kiss.

As the female broke the kiss, she looked in the crimson eyes of the albino and said,

"I was trying to tell you the same from the last two months! But you would always just run away from me but..."

Shu mentally deadpanned at himself as his face broke into a wide smile when he heard the last line of her sentence,

"...I love you too Shu!"

When I started this book, I never even dreamed of crossing a hundred reads or making any friends here. 🤧
But now I'm really happy with where this book is today and look forward to take it even further in the future. 🥰
