Shu Kurenai, (Y/N) (L/N), Valt Aoi and Xander Shakadera were close childhood friends. They were so close that the four of them knew every little secret each of them had. But as time passed, Xander grew more and more involved with the work of his team Sword Flames and his grandpa's dojo. But he made sure to contact his friends every once in a while.

Years have passed and the four little kids are now grown up young adults and worldwide famous bladers.

Valt is now a member of BC Sol in Spain. He'd also introduced Free and the rest of the beyclub to (Y/N). And just as he expected, (Y/N) quickly became friends with them.

Shu is now the owner of the world's most famous beyclub, Raging Bulls where he trains many bladers to be strong and helps them improve their skills. Lane and Fubuki being two of his students.

In New York:
At Raging Bulls and in Shu's office.
No one's P.O.V.

"Come on Shu, when will you ask (Y/N) out?" Valt whined over the phone. Shu just sighed before he replied, "Maybe later."
Shu might've accidentally told his friends, Valt and Xander about his long time crush on (Y/N). He couldn't help but fall for her cute and sweet personality. But over the years, this love he had for her might've grown into an obsession.

"Hey Shu, remember when I told you about Bel? And how each of us battled him and then helped him out as well?" Valt asked.

"Yeah. Why?" Shu responded.

"Well, (Y/N) and I are coming to Japan once more for a simple hangout. Do you wanna join? We can battle Bel and Rashad if you'd like as well." Valt offered.

Shu on the other side was thinking, 'Coming to Japan, huh? Guess this is my chance to have (Y/N) all for myself.' He smirked at the thought.

"Shu? Hello? Shu, you there?" Valt called out.

"Yes I am, Valt. And sure I'll tag along with the two of you as well." Shu replied, snapping out of his train of thoughts.

"Okay then, see you at Japan buddy." Valt grinned and hung up.

"Sure. Although you're not the one I'll be seeing, Valt." Shu smiled creepily after Valt hung up the call.

In Spain, at BC Sol.
In Valt and (Y/N)'s shared dorm room. No one's P.O.V.

(Y/N) just entered the room and saw Valt sitting on the bed, scrolling through his phone.

"Hey Valt. What are you doing?" She asked with a smile.

"Hey (Y/N). Nothing really. I was talking with Shu on the phone. And guess what he's coming to meet up with us in Japan." Valt grinned as he responded.

The girl smiled wider as she jumped in excitement, "Really? I can't wait to meet him!"

Little did she know that meeting up with Shu might turn out into one of the biggest mistakes of her life.

Big timeskip to when they all reach Japan.
At the beypark:
No one's P.O.V.
"Shu!" Two voices called out in unison as the albino who was sitting on a bench turned his head to the direction of the sound.

He had barely managed to stand up and balance himself before he got tackled back down on the bench with a hug.

"Shu! I missed you so much!" (Y/N) exclaimed as she nuzzled his shoulder.

Shu just smiled as he patted her back while Valt also made his way up to the duo.

"Hey Shu!" He greeted enthusiastically as (Y/N) pulled away from the hug, much to Shu's disappointment.

"Hey Valt." He stood up and fist bumped with his best friend.

"It's so nice that we're all together!" (Y/N) grinned cheerfully.

"Yup!" Valt joined in as well and Shu just nodded.

"So Shu, wanna accompany me to the Gates of Hell and have a battle with Bel?" He offered. Shu shook his head as he said,

"Actually I was thinking of something else. How about you go and battle and him while I take (Y/N) to my old apartment for a little hangout? Since, you two stay together alot while I don't."

"I'm all good with it." (Y/N) smiled as Valt thought for a while but then nodded as well.

"Okay, then. I'll come by later, guys. Since, (Y/N) and I are in the same hotel." Valt grinned and waved as he walked away.

"See ya later, Valt." The girl smiled cheerfully as always and waved at him.

'Perfect. Just as I wanted.' Shu mentally smirked before turning to (Y/N).

"Now, let's go shall we?" He offered his hand to her and smiled.

"Sure." (Y/N) smiled and took his hand being completely unaware of what was going to happen to her.

(Short timeskip)
At Shu's old apartment.
No one's P.O.V.

The duo entered the apartment as Shu led (Y/N) to his living room.

"Have a seat here on the couch while I'll make some spaghetti carbonara for the both of us. Sounds good?" He offered politely.

(Y/N) grinned cheerfully as she replied, "That'd be great. It's been so long since I've tasted your awesome cooking, Shu!"

Shu just chuckled as he went into the kitchen while (Y/N) took out her phone and began to scroll through it.

Shu entered the kitchen as he took out all the ingredients for the recipe. 'This time I'll make sure that you belong to me and only me, (Y/N).' He thought.

Meanwhile as (Y/N) was scrolling, she recieved a text from Valt.

Valt: '(Y/N), you're at Shu's right?'

'Yes, Valt. And you must be at Bel's.'

Valt: 'Yeah and please stay away from Shu.'

'What are you talking about, Valt? I'm literally in his house. -_-'

Valt: 'Look, there's something you need to know. Remember, back at the Beigoma Academy many students were dying mysteriously?'

'Yeah. They were all murders. I remember that. But why are you bringing that up, right now?'

Valt: 'Look. Don't freak out, okay? Shu was the one who killed them.'

(Y/N) let out a shocked gasp reading the text. She quickly put a hand over her mouth as she texted back.

'What do you mean? Do you have any proof?'

Valt: 'Me and the beyclub saw how sadistically Shu was killing his victims, (Y/N). I'm serious, no jokes.'

'Okay but why are you telling me all this all of a sudden?'

Valt: 'Because Shu is obsessed with you!'

'WHAT?!'

Valt: 'Don't freak out. We thought that after the Red Eye thing, Shu stopped killing people. But we were damn wrong.'

'....'

Valt: 'Wakiya just called me and told me that Shu actually killed a number of boys who used to be your fans.'

'Valt I'm so confused. Get to the point. I get that Shu is being a serial killer. But what are you trying to say?'

Valt: 'You need to get out of his house. But you'll have to wait until I come and get you because I'm 110% sure he won't let you leave. And until I arrive, avoid eye contact with him, don't take any of the food and drinks he offers and maintain as much distance as you can from him. Understood?'

'Understood, Valt. But don't call the cops.'

Valt: 'What?! Why?! Are you crazy?! You're at a killer's house!'

'Just give me one chance, Valt. I promise everything will be alright.'

Valt: 'Alright. Just one. But if something happens to you then I won't hesitate to contact the cops and burst in the house. I'm serious.'

'And um one last question. Shu just went to make spaghetti carbonara. How do I refuse to that?'

Valt: '-_- Just say you're not hungry.'

'Okay, got it.'

After that she turned off her phone when she heard Shu call her from the kitchen. Walking in the kitchen, she saw two plates of spaghetti carbonara on the table with Shu standing there with a smile.

"Hey, (Y/N). Come on eat up." He offered.

"Shu, on second thought, I'm not hungry at all." She said with a nervous smile on her face.

"But I made this just for the two of us..." Shu said as he hung his head down and frowned.

(Y/N) felt bad but then she remembered Valt's warning. But then she asked herself, what could be wrong with his famous carbonara? Besides, upsetting a friend wasn't really (Y/N)'s thing.

"O-okay I'll eat." She said timidly as she sat down and Shu's expression immediately lit up at her answer.

He took a seat in front of her and smiled, "Now, let's dig in."

(Y/N) nodded as she slowly started eating. The spaghetti tasted pretty normal to her so she continued to eat silently.

Shu's P.O.V.

I watched my little angel eat the food I made for her. She looks so cute even when she's eating. And now that she's at my place, I can do anything...absolutely anything I want with her.

I smirked at the thought. I just gotta wait for a few more minutes until the pill that I put in her food starts working.

I turned my attention to my plate and ate as well while glancing at the beautiful girl sitting in front of me from time to time.

After eating.
Reader's P.O.V.

"I'm done." I said as I stood up and put my plate in the sink. Shu was still eating so I decided to wash my plates and glass while he's eating.

As I was washing, I suddenly started to feel light-headed. What is this feeling? Numbness? Dizziness? Sleepiness? I couldn't figure it out but I clearly felt my eyes go heavy.

I quickly finished washing the dishes and turned to Shu as I said,

"Shu, I'm going to sit in the living room."

He nodded as I held my head and made my way to the living room. I sat on the couch, still holding onto my head and trying to figure out what is wrong with me.

After a few minutes, I saw Shu walk in the living room and sit beside me. I looked at him, squinting my eyes in pain.

And he was...smiling?! When he can clearly see that I'm not feeling well?! I think Valt was right. About the warning. I should've listened.

I couldn't take the pain anymore, as everything went black.

No one's P.O.V.

Shu watched as (Y/N) passed out on the couch. He smiled knowing that the pill was working. He scooted closer to her and brushed her cheek softly.

"Sorry, love. I had to do that. I didn't want you to leave. But don't worry, soon enough you will yourself wouldn't want to leave."

He smirked as he picked her up bridal style and walked towards his room upstairs.
He laid the girl down on his bed and covered her up in the blanket.

Then he went to his drawer and took out a syringe with some kind of fluid in it. He carefully grabbed (Y/N)'s arm and rolled up her sleeve and injected it in. Then he rolled her sleeve down and let her sleep as he went to lay down beside her.

Pulling her close, he cuddled her for the rest of the night.

Valt at the hotel was getting worried sick for (Y/N). He kept telling himself and his friends that everything would be fine.

But will everything really be fine?
