𝐓𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲'𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐬:

Lanhua was sitting in a cafe, peacefully drinking a cup of bubble tea.

Currently, she was trying to write her own rap for their debut song; she knew the idea behind it, but it was definitely hard to put that idea into words.

As she fiddled with her pen, she made sure to push up the sunglasses covering her eyes. She wasn't overly worried about someone recognizing her since they were such a new group, but it was better to be safe than sorry.

She tried a couple of lyrics, hesitantly, and then instantly scribbled them out finding that she didn't like it at all.

She knew that Riley and Robin were also writing their own raps, so why did this have to be so hard for her?

Lanhua let out a little frustrated huff as she slammed the pen down.

"Need some help, beautiful?"

A plate with a piece of chocolate cake was slid in front of her and Lanhua looked up to find a familiar face wearing a hat and sunglasses.

"Hi baby," Changbin beamed, pressing a kiss into her cheek.

Lanhua smiled at the interaction as Changbin slid into the seat across from her.

"How's writing going?"

Lanhua let out a frustrated laugh.

"I don't know how you and the rest of 3RACHA have written over 600 songs."

This time it was Changbin's turn to laugh.

"Well it certainly wasn't easy for us the first time either! Have you heard Wow?"

His girlfriend responded with a bit of a sad smile.

"I guess so," she shrugged. "I wish that I could just... I don't know write!"

Changbin smiled at his girlfriend, taking in her beauty.

"It will come to you, I promise. Why don't you take a break?"

One of Lanhua's eyebrows rose in a questioning way as a smirk appeared on her face.

"Is this your way of asking me on a date?"

Changbin nodded proudly.

"Well... fine."

Changbin let out a little victory noise.

"But first, cake."

"Okay, I planned this whole trip out!" Changbin said proudly, getting into the driver's seat of his car.

Lanhua was already seated and buckled in. (Binnie, naturally, had opened the door for her first before getting in.)

As the car started up, Lanhua's favourite song came on and she gave a soft smile, taking note of the name of the playlist.

As their Playlist continued to provide entertainment for the road, Changbin stopped the car just outside of a certain location.

"Ready?"

Lanhua nodded, excited.

She hurriedly exited the car as she stood right in the middle of the attraction, looking around.

She was currently surrounded by 100s of cherry trees.

"Binnie!" Lanhua gasped, taking in the sight.
"Grab a basket, babe, we're going cherry picking!"

Lanhua squealed and hurried to find one as Changbin watched her run off.

He smiled to himself knowing that she would be the happiest girl in the world in that moment.

"Binnie, come on!" Lanhua grinned.

Her boyfriend's face broke out into a large smile as he hurried after her.

As the two of them picked their cherries, Changbin made sure to take pictures of the gorgeous girl in front of him, trying to remember the capture the moment.

Once they were finished, Lanhua made sure to eat a couple of red cherries, soaking in the sweetness and freshness of hand picked chairs.

A single drop of juice dripped down her chin and she quickly wiped it off, embarrassed.

But Changbin looked at her as if she held the entire world in her hands.

Afterwards, the two hurried back into Changbin's car, their five pound bag of cherries in the backseat.

As Changbin drove to their next destination, Lanhua was excitedly talking about how they could make a cherry pie using the fresh fruit they had just picked.

Changbin smiled to himself, knowing the inspiration side of him was working twice as hard not to burst out as he suddenly had a great idea for a new song.

Finally, the car arrived at the beach and Lanhua let out an excited squeal.

"A beach walk?!" Lanhua asked, her eyes lighting up.

Changbin scurried over to the other side of the car to open the door for his lovely girlfriend, and as she got out, she was met with another surprise.

Changbin had bought her crocs; a white and light pink pair... similar to the ones he had just put on.

Lanhua quickly slipped hers on, throwing her pretty white ballet flats into the car somewhere.

"Ready?"

Hand in hand, the two began to walk down the beach, the sun setting in the background.

"This was great Binnie," Lanhua beamed.
"I'm so glad you loved our date," Changbin replied, an equally large smile on his face.

The two of them leaned in to share a sweet kiss before continuing their walk down the beach.

As the two of them began to chat about practice, or outings, or really just anything they wanted to, Lanhua suddenly came to a complete stop.

"That's it!"

Luckily for her, she had kept her bag swung over her shoulder the whole time so she had easy access to grabbing her notebook.

She crouched down, took out a pen, and immediately started writing. In fact, she was going so fast her hand was practically flying across the page.

Changbin watched, a bit smug.

He desperately wanted to take credit for her inspiration. After all, has he not taken her out, she may have been stuck in a cage still scribbling out words.

Sometimes all a writer needs is a change of scenery.

"I got it!"

Lanhua popped up from her little crouch, a little breathless but with a big smile on her face.

"Binnie, ur a genius!"

At the praise, the buff man seemed to stand a little taller, even causing his shoulders to grow a little wider.

"I'm so glad you took me out today," Lanhua said, pressing kisses into Changbin's cheek.

Changbin only smiled and leaned forwards to place a kiss on her forehead.

"Anything for my sweetest Angel. Congratulations on writing your first rap."

And the words on the page seemed to sparkle in the sunlight at the main rapper's words; commemorating this treasured memory the two would now share.

But I'm back!

We reached #3 in the girl group tag at one point and I nearly flew to space
