𝐓𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲'𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐬:

⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯ ୨ ♪ ୧ ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯

The girls were preparing for their very first interview for SSS.

They were currently sitting in front of a bunch of cameras, three were sitting down, three were standing up.

Renee had giant cue cards that could prompt them if they were lost about cues or any other sort of thing.

Sitting down were Alaska, Mari, and then Mya. Standing up was Riley, Lanhua, and then Robin.

"Is everyone ready?" the director yelled out.

The girls all nodded and Riley took a deep breath.

"Stay calm girls. The main point of this is to show the audience how likeable we are. And I know that we are VERY likeable."

The camera director moved his hands in front of the centered camera.

"Rolling in three... two..."

With a clap of his hands, the cameras started rolling and all the girls quickly plastered a smile of her face.

Riley started off counting down and then...

"Mix it together, salty and fresh, hi, we are Bittersweet!"

The girls then burst into laughter, unable to contain their lively energy.

"This is so funny!" Mya laughed.
"Hi everyone, we're Bittersweet!" Riley beamed. "We hope that you are enjoying all of our performances on SSS! Our fans, Sweeties, are the best there ever are! Thank you all so much for all the love and support and we hope that we continue to succeed and surpass your expectations!"

The girls all looked into the center camera and smiled brightly.

"We love you all so so much," Mari grinned. "We're so grateful."

From behind the camera, the director was smiling.

"Can you guys tell us more about your first performance?"

Alaska nodded brightly.

"Our Domino performance was our pride. We worked really really hard on it and although we're a little disappointed that we didn't win. We still had fun performing it! And on top of that, it's lit a fire under us to do 100x better for the debut challenge!" Alaska said confidently.
"Tell us about your plans for the next challenge!"

The girls looked around at each other until Lanhua decided she would take the question.

"So for the second challenge, we're choosing to do O.O by NMIXX: we want to be able to showcase two different sides to us similar to our name. Plus the song is very challenging in all aspects and we want to show that we can do it all!"

The director nodded, before looking at his clipboard.

"Tell us about your competitors, Seas0n. What do you think of them?"

Now this was an easy question to assign.

"I think Seas0n is an incredibly talented group of individuals and we're so honoured that we're going to compete alongside them," Mya said, making sure she didn't sound too... resentful.
"All of the members are so special and thrive in their areas of expertise. Not just that, but every single member is an all rounder. It'll be really interesting to see how we'll fare next to them," Robin added.
"But just because we think they're strong competitors, doesn't mean we're going to give up or give weak performances. We are here to debut, not to be the other team performing on SSS," Mari finished.

From behind the director, Renee shot them a big thumbs up and a wide grin.

She was really proud: all the girls had handled the questions so well and professionally, she had zero critiques.

"Can we please set up for individual interviews?"

The crew immediately hurried to strike the set and provide a single chair.

"Talk about yourselves, and please add a little bit of fan service. Fans love it," the director winked.

The girls all shared a nervous glance at each other and nodded.

"Let's start with Riley."

As the leader sat down, she glanced at Renee, nervously.

'Be charming,' Renee mouthed, adding big hand gestures to emphasis her point.

Riley just nodded and took a deep breath, straightening up.

"On the mark...."

Riley took a deep breath and then;

"Hi there! I'm Riley Nakano, leader, rapper, vocalist, and producer of Bittersweet! Love you sweeties!"

She waved at the camera, trying her best to avoid any awkwardness. With that, the camera cut rather quickly.

And as soon as it cut, laughter filled the studio.

"Love you sweeties," Robin mocked.

Riley flushed bright red, clearly embarrassed.

"Next!" the director yelled.

The girls quickly scrambled around and Robin sat down.

"I'm your lovely cat of Bittersweet, Robin! I'm a rapper, dancer, and producer!"

It took everything in Alaska not to burst into laughter at Robin's attempt to give some fan service.

But not Riley.

"Your lovely cat," she teased.

Lanhua sat down and sent a dashing smile to the camera.

"Hi everybody! I'm Lanhua, the graceful swan of Bittersweet! I'm your guys' rapper, vocalist, and visual!"

Alaska was suddenly sent into a panic as she realized that she was going to have to try to give their fans some goofy scene for fan service.

"Alaska?"

With a gulp, Alaska sat down and tried her best to summon her fanservice side.

"Your main dancer and favourite person of Bittersweet, Alaska," she said, blowing a kiss to the camera.

Riley snickered quietly, but hid her head so no one could catch her.

Mari took the seat and rubbed her sweaty (only slightly) hands on her skirt.

"Center Mari here for you guys! Also your dancer and vocalist!"

Mari beamed and the camera cut.

Finally, the last member of the group had their turn on the hot seat.

"It's everyone's new favourite maknae, Mya! Main vocalist!"

The girl giggled and the camera cut.

"You guys are perfect for the camera!" the director said, happy with the results.

The girls all shared a big smile and a happy expression.

Maybe they all were cut out for the idol life.
