"Line up girls!"
It was time to go and let's just say the girls were out of their minds nervous.
This was a big moment for them, after all.
Renee turned to them, trying to hide the emotion on her face. She was equally as nervous and excited as they were, but more than anything else; the girl was proud.
"You guys have worked so hard for this, don't forget. And remember, this show is a whole process. So even if you mess up once, there are still so many other chances to make up for it. But today, I want you guys to put your all into this performance so you know you gave it your all and that you'll have no regrets when you step off the stage," Renee said seriously, looking at her band. "But most importantly, make sure you guys have fun."
Mya beamed and nodded. She glanced at her phone for the last time, rereading Bread's last text to her.
Feeling a surge of energy and hopefulness, she turned to her whole group feeling a pep talk in need.
"We can do this, guys! We've been working on this for so long and there's no way that the other group has better chemistry than us!"
All the girls seemed to agree with her and if you glanced at them, they all seemed to be a little more confident than five minutes ago.
This was it.

"Welcome to JYP's newest survival show, SSS!"
Cheers echoed through the live studio audience as the MCs for the show, JYP alumni, Minatozaki Sana and Kim Dahyun stood in the centre of the stage, smiling proudly.
"I'm Sana of Twice!"
"I'm Dahyun of Twice!"
Mya stood in awe, unable to take her eyes off of the celebrities in front of her.
How desperate was she for this...?
"We are now going to explain the show for you guys! JYP is about to debut a new girl group and it's up to both the live audience's votes for 50% and the judges who will be the other 50%. For the show, our judges are the one and only JYP and Stray Kids!"
As the two artists walked out, Mya took a deep breath. She knew that Bittersweet would be introduced before the other group walked on and it was critical that they made a good first impression to the general audience. Especially because the other team she considered to be the JYP favourite cause he hand picked all of them.
Horrifying.
As Bang Chan began making the opening remarks, Mya peeked out at Jeongin, looking at how he held himself in front of the crowd.
Her eyes softened as she stared at the maknae who was smiling at all of the fans, but moved back slightly when she felt a tug on her arm.
"Mya, don't stare too hard when we're on stage," Lanhua whispered. "You don't want to already get into a dating scandal."
Mya winced at the words and nodded.
A dating scandal so soon would practically end their non-existent career.
"Thank you Bang Chan," Sana said, looking at her friend and trying not to laugh at his formalness. "Let's meet our first team then, shall we?"
Cheers echoed through the audience and Mya took a deep breath in.
"Please welcome, a group composed of six members who can do it all, Bittersweet!"
Riley led them onstage, all of the girls waving at the crowd and trying not to allow any nerves to be present on their faces.
They all lined up in the centre of the stage and on Riley's cue, they all bowed at the same time.
"Hello, we are Bittersweet!"
The crowd jittered and clapped politely for the girls as Dahyun smiled brightly and turned to Mari.
"Let's hear a couple words from Mari, the centre of Bittersweet!"
Mari was handed a handheld mic and she smiled charmingly at the crowd.
"Hello there! I'm Mari of Bittersweet! It's so amazing to be standing on this stage about to preform for not only JYP and Stray Kids, but all of the lovely audience members as well. I hope that today, Bittersweet will show you something so incredible that it will make you want to follow us until forever. Thank you and enjoy the show!"
Polite applause began and Mari let out a quiet sigh of relief.
Mya looked up at Mari and winked at her, letting her know she had done a good job.
"I think it's time to see Bittersweet's performance!" Dahyun declared. "Today, they have decided to cover Domino with new choreography all choreographed by one of their very own members, Alaska!"
Dahyun turned to the other Hwang, a kind smile on her face.
"Alaska, can you describe the process of creating the new choreography?"
Alaska stood up a little straighter at the feeling of everyone's eyes on her and plastered a smile onto her face.
"It was hard to come up with choreography that would match the song better than the original already had, but I knew my groups' strengths and wanted to create choreo to showcase all of them so you can see all of their charms and individuality on stage and I hope that you'll pay extra attention to any parts that put a spotlight on a specific member so you can see how amazing and talented each one of them are both individually and in a group."
Alaska lowered the mic proudly and tried not to make eye contact with either Hyunjin or Felix. If she did, she had no idea what kind of rumours would start and she definitely didn't want to find out.
The girls were gestured to move into their starting formation and they quickly hurried to the centre to set up.
"We are about to see the first performance of SSS! I hope you all enjoy and remember to vote."
On the screen behind the centre, a visual demonstration appeared.

Press however you felt the performance was based on their skills, talent, and performance!
Mya took a deep breath and kept her head down as Sana and Dahyun finished explaining.
Her future and dreams were right here; all she had to do was jump out and grab it.
Her in ear monitors began to count down for her and just like that, the opening chords of Domino began to play.
Immediately, Lanhua jumps out of the centre of the formation to begin rapping, showcasing her skills to the audience and making sure to interact with them, the judges, and the camera.
Changbin watched from his seat with pride as his girlfriend rapped the difficult part in the song; in fact, not only was it difficult, it was also his part! He couldn't believe his luck. That being said, he was using all of his power to keep a stable expression so that the media wouldn't see. It was definitely one of the hardest things he had ever done.
Riley jumped out for the next part carefully articulating each word while performing a series of difficult movements that clearly wowed the audience. As the leader, she felt responsible for the performance and for the team. She had to bring her a-game because there was no way that she would allow for Bittersweet to lose this survival show. She needed to win this; not just for herself, but for the entire team.
Robin moved out for the part of both Han and Jeongin and absolutely nailed the rap, then vocal part, winked and then the whole space cleared and only Mari and Mya were left onstage to sing the pre chorus.
Mari started off as she and the Maknae carefully started the duo part of their dance taking extra caution not to throw off the other person. As she continued to sing, she tried not to allow the feeling of all of the eyes staring at her. She felt a duty as the centre to make sure that this group was the absolute best they could be. But she had to remember; they were all chosen for a reason.
Then Mya started her part.
Jeongin watched in the distance with a careful expression on his face, but in his mind, all he could think about was how that girl behind the screen who had seemed more meek was now so confident on stage. If he allowed himself to be delusional, he liked to believe that the reason she was now so confident was because of his advice, but he knew that was probably not true.
As Mya finished up the pre-chorus part, sending out a nice smile and then with a sharp change of her facial expressions, the chorus started with hard hitting choreography and sharp movements surprising the audience and the judges.
Alaska, the current centre of the was clearly charming the crowd. Using that Hwang charisma to her advantage because it looks like a bunch of boys (and girls) in the crowd were falling in love with her.
The song continued on, and the crowd slowly became more enticed with the six member group and their efforts and talents. Near the end of the song, Mya allowed herself to take a quick peek at the judges.
JYP was smiling and so were Stray Kids. Clearly that had to have been a good sign; she also knew that nobody in her group had messed up so at least she didn't have to worry about any critiques over that.
At the end of the song, they struck a fierce pose and the audience went ballistic. Clearly they had won them over pretty damn well.
They took their bows and then scooted back into the wings to watch their rival group perform. They would hear the comments for their performance after the other group performed.
Just as Mya was feeling a little bit confident in their group, a certain 19 year old from the rival group walked out in the centre of her groups' formation, Mya's heart dropped into her shoes.
So much for confidence.
Especially after she recognized that girl and her talents a little too well.
